Where can I get Flash Player download?

Question

The Adobe site only allows you to download an installer file
that's
something like 1.5 meg. When you click it, it goes out to the
Internet to
get the actual Flash player. I'm looking on the Adobe site
for the entire
player installer, which would allow me to install it without
being
connected. Is there a place on the Adobe site, or anywhere
else, that allows
me to download this? If not, why not?
Note: I don't care if it's the latest player. It can be a
version or two
behind.
Note: I'm on Windows XP

In order to get player installers for off line use you have
two options.
Apply for license and get links to properly packed players
with installers which
were design for that exact purpose or download older versions
and their revisions
which are more for testing purpose. These you found come with
range of player revisions,
some of which contain bugs and are more for compatibility
test on backward versions
than player installers for off line use. The license is
barely a formality so
Macromedia know who takes these players and get some info on
player penetration from
none online users.
