Where can I get help with partitioning my hard drive? I have a "non-genuine" version of windows that I need to replace but I have not a clue how to go about doing that.

I love my mac, but I unfortunately have to also run windows because of engineering software. I bought windows 7 at my campus computre store and one year later my computer is telling me that my software is "non-genuine." I need to fix this asap, but my computer store refuses to do anything because a year has passed. Microsoft wont help because I have a Mac.
My question is, where can I go to find someone who can help me uninstall the "non-genuine" windows 7 and replace it with a functional one?
Im allowed a free download of windows 7 because I'm still a student, but I have no clue how to go about uninstalling and reinstalling windows.

This kind of question is best asked in the Windows Forums, however I've had some succession with a similar issue myself.
Non-Genuine Windows means that it can't authenticate your copy of Windows.
It's not a problem, all your need is a genuine product key code. Provided you don't have different version of Windows 7 installed to the one you are buying (for example windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 business) Then you can use the new key code.
Click on the Start Button and type: CMD (into the 'Search programs and files' field in the Start Menu)
The Start Menu will show 'CMD.exe',
Right-click the CMD.exe file and select Run As Administrator.
In the CMD window, type: slmgr.vbs -ipk <type your product key here>
To activate windows after changing the key, type: slmgr.vbs -ato
It should now accept the new key code and you will need to be connected to the Internet to authenticate.
If by chance the windows 7 types are different (One is Home premium say and the other is Business) then you will need to uninstall that copy of Windows 7 and install the new one. If your using BootCamp then you will need to go into BootCamp under system preferences and remove that copy of Windows (delete it)
Then create a new setup with your new Windows 7 disk.
For me I had the same type of windows, changing the product code worked. Saved me the bother of having to reinstall Windows again and it was all genuine.

What can I do to resolve this issue? I really want to use Arch Linux because I'm sick of Ubuntu. However, I want to dual boot Ubuntu in case I screw something up in Arch so I can have something to fall back on.
I have searched Google a little bit but all I can seem to find is information about RAID drives. I am fairly sure I never setup anything as raid on this laptop.

You can only resize unmounted partitions, so you will need to start from a livecd (the archlinux install-cd can be used for that). You may then use parted from the cli to resize the filesystem plus partition.
If that fails, you might want to perform these two separate actions yourself manually. Have a look at resize2fs to resize the partition. Then use fdisk/cfdisk/parted to recreate the partition (just delete it, then recreate it using the same starting point and you should be fine)

Many of those groups can also be accessed on the web with any web browser via http://groups.google.com/
There are several NNTP news readers like Newswatcher and MT Newswatcher on http://www.versiontracker.com/ and http://www.macupdate.com/ which tie into that newsgroup protocol if your internet service provider supports it.

Where can we get help with writing an Applescript

I've sort of figured out how to do a couple of Applescripts that work well and send new messages from one of my icloud IDs or the other with the appropriate signature but now I'm trying to figure out if I reply to a message and want to change my sender ID and signature how to do that. I've sort of figured out a way of just replying to a message but that's not very useful as I can just hit cmd-R. The other though has always required a lot of mousing.
I'm terrible at figuring out Applescript.

It sounds liks you are using the wrong kind of message. Making a new outgoing message will do just that, but if you want to reply to a message you will need to use the reply command and specify the particular message you are replying to. For example, the following will create a reply to the first message in the current selection, then set the sender (the sender needs to be one of your accounts):

I would like to know the answer to that one. I realized this was happening just after upgradeing my iOS to 6. Then when I looked up my purchase date, I was about 5 days past my one year warranty. So I'm dead in the water. Apple will replace the battery, but it will be about $80+. I took it to the Apple store, and they checked a bunch of stuff, but said that it seemed ok. I'm debating getting a battery for a more reasonable price off of ebay. But if it's the iOS thats draining the battery, then I'm not going to be able to help it. I wish I knew a better way to tell if its the battery, the phone, or the iOS.

Yes, I agree, the tax ID issue needs to be resolved, but the problem is on their side, not mine, and I cannot contact anyone. My question is HOW DO I GET HELP when I can't even get an application to complete? What do I do when I'm told to contact itunes Connect but am denied access? WHO does one contact, HOW? The only other thing I can suggest is to use the Repair option for iTunes.
Download the iTunes programme (do not uninstall your current iTunes) and then "install" the new copy. At some stage you should see an option to "install" or "Repair". Take the Repair option.
Once you've done that, if you still have a problem, I don't know what else to suggest, except to search through the discussions to see if anyone else has had the problem and managed to fix it.

If the file was also on a mac, then there was a local copy of the file in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. If you use Time Machine or any other backup program on your computer, then try restoring the file(s). Similarly the same thing would be done on a PC, but I'm not sure where the icloud local copies are kept.
