Where can I get information about how apps work ?

I have downloaded several applications to my iPhone. I don't know how to make some of them work. There must be a forum someplace to discuss the features and how they work. Someone know where it is ?

If you downloaded them from iTunes then there are direct links to the makers websites, there will be instructions and tips on there.

  • Where can i get info that how many languages suppo...

Where can i get info that how many languages supported by default in Nokia phone?
If i buy it in UK,how?
    Many thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

if you buy it in the UK, you would expect it to support your region's main languages or for Europe. for example, i am in asia-pacific region (australia) so the languages i have available to me are English, Pilipino, Tieng Viet and im guessing Japanase/chinese. so how many languages it supports depends on your region of course.
to check what languages are in your phone, goto Settings > PHone > Lanuage Settings> Phone Language (this is for S40 devices, no idea how to check in S60)
    i hope this helps

  • I need to use an hp 6215 printer with my mac book pro.  the driver installation disk doesn't work.  where can i get a driver that will work?  i use OS X

i need to use an hp 6215 printer with my mac book pro.  the driver installation disk doesn't work.  where can i get a driver that will work?

With the Lion it is essentially unnecessary to resort to external driver disks. What's more, most of those disks are incompatible with the OS and should not be used. The system already carries a wide variety of printer description files (aka PPDs, which is what modern printing systems use as "drivers") for a lot of brands. And there was an HP printer update just two days ago.
Just checked in mine and did indeed find that the HP OfficeJet 6200 Series, with or without Fax, is covered with the latest update.
So just go thru the motions of creating a proper printer instance:
Make sure the Mac "sees" the printer on the network.
System Preferences / Print & Scan
Click on the + button on the left column
Select the appropriate type of printer, will use IP for the rest of this
Select HP Jetdirect - Socket, default for HP network printers
Type the IP address or look it up
Name the printer for easy identification on the print dialog
Let the Mac identify the printer model or manually choose the driver
    Click Add.
Once the instance pops up in the list, can click on Options & Supplies for further config.

  • Where can I find information about my Acer Product?

Looking for Drivers or Manuals, want to talk to an Acer Tech or just read Acer FAQs?  Read this article for information about how Acer is here to help you get the most out of your Acer Product.

I am looking for a simple answer about the specs of my system, but because it is no longer in warranty there is no way to contact anyone, there are no system specific manuals online and just no place to get a simple answer that should literally take less than 3 minutes to answer. I have looked online at 3rd party sources and received 3 completely different answers. I find it disappointing that a company won't even offer a simple means of asking a quick non-tech support question or providing the old system specific documentation on their website simply because the warranty is expired. This makes me question whether or not I wish to purchase my next system from them...

  • How or where can I get information on what data and/or sites my data is downloaded from?

My monthly cycle just turned over on 10/19. On 10/25 I  got notice that I had already downloaded 75% of my monthly allowance. I am having a hard time believing I have already downloaded 3GB of data. I want to see what was downloaded and where it came from. How can I get that information? Thanks to any and all who can enlighten me.

What kind of phone do you have?  Instructions and menu items vary from device to device... but you should be able to go to Settings (on the phone), Data Use, and split out the mobile and the wifi data, and view which apps are using the data, and how much they are using.
That's almost funny, since doing that on my phone shows at least one app using data during the current cycle that has been disabled for 2 years; since I purchased the phone.  I have NEVER used Zappos, and it has been disabled since the beginning, and yet it has used data during the current cycle?  Verizon needs to open it's books and allow customers to actually see WHAT data they are being charged for, NOT just the time (which is not accurate anyway) and amount.  Otherwise, there is no way to verify that we are being ripped off and overcharged for data.  Period.

  • How can I get informations about PATH variable ?

I have a programme installed on my computer and I need informations about its path. For example I can get Java home path like this:
System.getProperty("java.home");, but how can I do that for my programme.
If you know another way I can do this please let me find out.
    Thanks !

    To sergey35:
    Thanks! This work very well.
Now I want to launch an application from java, but I don't know how can I test if my application exists (is installed).
For example if I want to launch winamp or any other application, but how can I verify if my application exists indeed. The end user isn't interested if my application really exists. He push a button and he wants to launch that application. If it doesn't exists I have to notify through a message this fact. And most difficult I think is to know exactly the path where is installed that application.
If anyone can help me with documentation or suggestions please reply to this thread.
    Thanks!

  • Where can I find information about using the Mozilla Help web pages?

Such as tips to make searching the help pages faster like adding symbols + or - or " which some internet search systems use.
There is simply too much information offered for me ( a neurologically disabled person - specifically with working memory difficulties [dyslexia, dyspraxia/DCD] ) and all one can do is write yet another new question - which will probably be a repeat of what has been asked before in a different way and increase the already existing mass of information for the next enquirer to 'wade; through!
The consequence of not knowing where to look for information, is that I just bumble along and never become as proficient using Firefox (and the web and my computer) as might be possible if I had a really good teacher giving personal one to one guidance matching my knowledge gained so far and skill potential.

The main introduction to Firefox are these articles

We do not give general computer help here, but some links that may help you.
The default search engine used by most versions of Firefox is Google these are some useful help pages

Post back in this thread again if you have further questions about Firefox use or our help articles.
We may not be able to give one to one teaching but we can try to answer questions about Firefox.
Possibly consider using Firefox on wikipedia and the Khan Academy to learn more yourself.
