Where can I get tv show and movie content to download to my Pre?

Since I can't buy and sync tv shows and movies from iTunes to my Pre due to the DRM protection, where can I get similar content on the web that I can buy, download and copy to my Pre in USB mode, and that will then play on my Pre? I've looked around, searched on google, but nothing comes up. I can buy and download TV episodes on Amazon video on demand but the Pre isn't one of their supported video players. There must be sites that I can use?? This is the one thing that I want to get working on my Pre as I've solved most of my other issues, and am very happy with my Pre, with this one exception. Please help!

Thanks. I did check out Sprint TV but it's pretty limited compared to iTunes TV and movies. I did find a video format converter for the Pre called Videora Palm Pre converter but I haven't tried it on anything yet because I'm still looking for download sites. I'm going to try it on an Amazon download. I found a subscription site but I'd rather find a site where I can buy programs one at a time.
There must be some sites out there - I've tried torrent sites but usually you can only download entire series of multiple Gb not individual episodes.
Any further advice on this would be appreciated.

Where can i get a cheat and good cd/dvd external drive?

my ibook doesnt have a cd/dvd driver to burn dvds or cds, it can play cds and copy them but not burn them or even play dvd. so i want to buy an external cd/dvd drive using an usb. where can i get one. do you think this one might work? or i need a real superdrive?

How to get tv shows and movies backed up on external sata drive?

I realised a couple of days ago that several of my movies and tv shows that I purchased are no longer downloaded on my computer but are stored on the cloud. Now how do I get a backup on my drobo external disk? I don't want to fall or be without wifi and not being able to watch movies or tv shows.
Music has a download icon next to it, but that is not there for movies and tv shows. I have my itunes folder on my drobo, and want to keep it that way...
Anyone have a good suggestion for me?

Your shows should be in your purchased items on iTunes. Log in to your account and you should be able to find them. Not all movies are available for a second download though, you should check on that.
Once you've downloaded them again to your computer, you can backup with time machine, or burn them on a DVD. Read this article for further information:

Can I archive tv shows and movies?

I need to make room in my harddrive. I've saved all my itunes library to Time Machine on an external disk but I have a lot of tv series and a few movies. I'm wondering if they're the reason I'm running out of space. Can I archive them? If I trash some of them, will I be able to bring them back from my external? Just in case should I burn some series to dvd disks?

If you delete them from the drive, they will eventually get removed from the TM backup.
You can get another external and put the iTunes library on there and have it backed up to the TM backup drive.

Can't Find TV Shows and Podcast that I Downloaded

I just spent hours downloading TV shows and podcasts from iTunes directly on my ipad. The downloads all completed however now when I go to Video or Podcast, it says there are none.
How do I watch the shows I just downloaded?

Have you checked the Movies and TV Show tabs in the Movies App ?
Check the iPod app for Podcasts.
Check your iTunes account Purchase History to make sure the system says hey downloaded successfully.

Look under "Inside the Music Store" on the left side of the iTMS homepage. "TV Shows" is at the bottom of that section. Clicking that will take you the TV Shows page on the iTMS.
