Where can i install new Ibooks Author templates so that i can see them in the overal view.

When I used the link and clicked on Free there was nothing showing except the loading spinner ....which never ended. Reloaded and tried the Photography link which was OK...
Just tried today and the site is fully functional dont know if it was my machine or what!
I did not try anything free, I get wary of new sites being advertised in targetted forums and such and wanting email address's.
I make my own template, $20 for one template seems expensive to me there are apps in the store offering templates far less expensive, as do Jumsoft and I have no connection with them other buying their set when iBA first came out.
"Templates for iBooks Author" is a free app offerring 10 templates free! their next version offers 20 I think for $10
I think my next project should be a website offering templates a $3 each ! So far I have created 150....

What is your definition of a "Linux for Windows" ?
There is Linux like Ubuntu which can be installed on a Mac

And there is Microsoft Windows which can be installed and used on a Mac with Apples BootCamp http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/ or through Virtualization apps like Parallels, VMWare Fusion or VirtualBox.
Windows Programs don't run in a Linux only in Windows.

Where can I download Database_Template_for_EM12_1_0_4_Linux_x64 for DB-Release12.1.0.2 ?

I want to install Enterprise Manager Cloud Control - latest release.(12.1.0.4)
I found a database template for the repository DB, but it is for DB-release 11.2.0.3
Can anybody tell me, where I can download a template for a 12c database?

*** in the meantime 12.1.0.4 is certified as repository database :-)
I figured out that the template is not required. The DB schema is created by EM installation.

Certification for 12.1.x as the EM repository has been temporarily suspended. I would suggest 11.2.0.3 or 11.2.0.4. There is only a template for 11.2.0.3, but you can open the sql files provided for that and update the parameters that reference 11.2.0.3 to use against an 11.2.0.4 db...

We are going to deploy SharePoint 2013 with PowerPivot for SharePoint (installed from SQL Server media). According to what I've read out there for a small or medium farm, the recommendation is to install PowerPivot for SharePoint on
every SharePoint application server in the farm. However, accoding to the licensing doc I've pasted below, PowerPivot can be run outside the SharePoint farm. We are going with SQL Server 2012 Enterprise edition. PowerPivot requires a SQL
Server license for each server. To save money on licenisng, can we install PowerPivot for SharePoint on the 2 SQL Server cluster nodes (as a separate instance of course)?

PowerPivot for SharePoint is an Analysis Services instance in tabular mode. This
whitepaper mentions that clustering Analysis Services in SharePoint-integrated mode is not supported (page 8 under SSAS Server Modes.) You can, however, install it as a standalone
instance on the nodes of the cluster and let SharePoint handle the load balancing.
My apologies for the confusion on installing the SharePoint binaries on the PowerPivot instance. You don't need to install the SharePoint binaries if it is outside of the SharePoint farm. I was looking at my build documentation where I have both Reporting
Services and PowerPivot on the same machine with the same reason - reduce licensing cost - and similar to the 3-tier topology but with all of the service application and content databases on the database tier.

I downloaded some upgrates for my macbookpro in july this year, but after that Safari don't work. So, where can I download Safari for OS X 10.6.8 for re-install this?

I agree with you, 10.6 is so much better and faster, runs your older PPC based software.
Nearly 50% of OS X users are still on 10.6
Apple is still issuing security updates for 10.6, however Safari 6 (with numerous patches) is only for later OS versions.
So you should be using Firefox as it's at 17.0 now and receives attention and updates, unlike Safari 5.04 which isn't.
You might want to be considering making bootable clones of 10.6 and also installing Deep Freeze, just in case Apple cuts off security updates for 10.6 you can keep your machine secure.

Do you have a backup. If so you should be able to restore it from that. Otherwise you can reinstall OS X. See Carolyn's post in I accidentally deleted iBooks on my Macbook Pro (late 2011) running on OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite. Will iBooks be reinstalled if I install the next OS X major update once it is out?

It's built into the OS. You can't download it separately. If you've managed to delete it, re-install OS X.
