Where can I locate more information on how the Manufacturing VI Example of Labview DSC was developed?
I am greatly impressed by the process visualisations (animation of the robotic arm and conveyor system) and would like to learn how to develop similar process visualisations (to be controlled by status of tags monitored) for other custom industrial processes. In particular, how to program the animation so that it is controlled by the real-time status of the monitored tags.

There are a number of ways to do this.
Picture controls where used in the robot example.
Picture rings can be used to represent systems as well.
Other interesting graphic effects can be achieved using boolean controls that have been customized with pictures.
A simple experiment that could meet your introductory needs would use a picture ring.
A picture ring is an indicator that accepts interger values and will display a picture that corresponds to that number.
If you combine the picture ring with datasockets you should be able to get something started in short order.

Where can I find more information on the HP4192A vi module?
I am trying to measure transadmittance using Labview and a HP4192A impedence analyzer. Unfortunately, the vi for the instrument does not let me have a static DC bias voltage, and an AC small signal and frequency sweep simultaneously. I tried to correct this by setting the start and stop bias voltage the same and having bias voltage step of zero. Can anyone give me information about another hp4192a control vi that provides greater control?

The ID Net Library's LabWindows/CVI instrument driver for the 4192a offers more control and functionality support that the contributed LabVIEW driver.
You have some options:
1. Use the CVI driver in a C-based environment
2. Convert the CVI driver using the conversion feature in LabVIEW. Using the menus, follow the path: "Tools >> Instrumentation >> Import CVI Instrument Driver..." Then, select the .FP file from the downloaded driver. You will then be able to use the features of the CVI driver within LabVIEW.
Finally, I found an application note (AN 346) on Agilent's website that may be helpful with the 4192A. I have attached that file below.

I am not aware there is a resource specific to nesting functions. this comes from understanding each function (or at least the description in the function help).
a great resource is the function reference which you can see by typing the "=" sign in any cell:
the important thing to note is:
1) what are the inputs to the function and
2) what does the function return (the output)
the if() function (listed above) takes three inputs and returns one output. These forums are a great resource! -

Where can I find more Templates ?
I installed the new Pages version, unfortunetly has came with a lot less templates, what I've been trying to find out is where can I get more templates, I've read about iWork community but the whole template section has been inactive for quite some time, does apple has an official template source or should I look somehere else ?
Thank youIf you still have the old version of Pages on your computer, this is how I moved some of the old templates.
Open 4.3 and choose the template I want.
Add every available page option in the template to the file.
Choose Save as Template and save to my Desktop.
Close the file.
Open the same file in Pages 5 and it will put the template in correct template folder.
Rename it with the name I want.
I wish they were included from the start, but at least this way gets all the different page options in there. I then just have to delete the pages I don't need. Bummer that Apple dropped the good page layout templates. -

Thank you.You need to download the JCE 1.2.1 that is available on the http://java.sun.com website. Once you download the software, you need to make the jar files available. It is easiest to place the JCE jar files in the extension mechanism folder since permission has already been granted, by default, to any code in that folder. That folder is JAVA_HOME\lib\ext on Windows. JAVA_HOME is where the Java Runtime Environment is installed.
When using JarSafe with Java Web Start, make sure that the JCE jar files are placed in the extension mechanism folder of the JRE that Java Web Start is using. -

Where can I locate Contribute CS 4 trial download? Each time I go to Download Center I am only taken the details and subscribed to weird notifications. There does not seem to be any trial download at all.
I also registered a sales callback at 3 PM Eastern and no one has called me hitherto.Now that CS5 is available, there is no CS4 download.
Actually, I don't even see a trial for CS5 on the adobe site.
