• Where can I find 3D materials add-ons for Photoshop CC 2014?

Where can I find 3D materials add-ons for Photoshop CC 2014? When I pull down the 3D menu to Get More Content, it takes me here: Downloadable 3D content | Photoshop.com. When I download and install the "Versatile materials", Adobe Extension Manger tells me I am installing "Material sets for Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended", which turns out to be the same exact set that I originally had in PS CC 2014. I also search here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons  to no avail.
Anybody know where I can find 3D materials that are more current, or at least different from what I have already?

• Muse can't "see" my installed Add-ons from Adobe add-ons. I have a PC with Windows 7 and Creative Cloud.

The Add-ons that I buy on Adobe is downloading and installing ok, according to the responds I see on thr icon of Creative Cloud in the right corner in win7, but they do not appear in Muse...I have re-installed Muse and Exhange CC. In Exhange CC all my Add-ons are under the catagory "Others" (Norwegian"Andre"), but I have installed a plug-in from Pond5 and Zencaptie for Premiere CC and they are ok. Its only Muse that have this problem, on my PC with Win7. Hope anyone can help, thanks!

Next steps;
Open muse on the page you want to
add the item,
Open your library tab and click the “import
muse library” button… it is very small and easy to miss.
Browse to the download folder and
find the extension file which will be added to your library for you to use.

• Where can I locate the install files for Acrobat X

I had exactly the same problem, and thought installing Acrobat XI Pro in trial would help.
First icon links became corrupt, then files would only open on right-click.
Searching for answers to icon links, etc. and many attempts failed to fix, so I uninstalled XI and X, with the idea I would reinstall, since the CS6 control panels do not offer a "repair" function, only uninstall.
Now, Application Manager lists only Acrobat XI Pro trial as an option - but nothing for the program I actually purchased.

@Jeff: completing the instructions as below:
> free Adobe account: Check.
>disable site or cookie blocking, firewalls or antivirus software: Check.
>sign in: Check
>close or cancel the windows for that trial of Photoshop CS6: Not applicable
>Download the files: Fail.

You don't have permission to access "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/APRO/10/win32/AcrobatPro_10_Web_WWEFD.exe?" on this server.

Apparently, the failure could be due to the fact I'm using a WiFi connection, (not allowed for some reason, but all I have on this machine) ...or it could be that I'm in Patagonia and it doesn't like my IP address.
Yours seemed like a great suggestion though!  I really thought it would fix me up.

• I can't install add-ons, install just keeps running, when I close the browser, I'm asked if I want to cancel download.

re-install because of earlier problems, most current version. Usual plugins, all up to date.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

• Where can I locate the add-on for Thunderbird on OS X?

Hello guys:
I've just downloaded a add-on for Tor integration. However, after restarting the Thunderbird, I can't launch it at all. So I guess that it may be caused by the new add-on couldn't be loaded successfully. Hence, I wanna delete the add-on manually.
BUT I can't found out the add-on folder for Thunderbird on OS X, I looked at ~/Library/Application Support/Mozilla and Thunderbird bundle, but I can't found it. So I want to ask: Where Can I Locate the add-on for Thunderbird on OS X, which path?
Thank you!

Sorry do not anything about manually uninstalling.

For OS X:
1. Enter into: ~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/${CURRENT_PROFILE_FOLDER}/extensions (as shown in following screenshot)

• Can't install add-ons or remove old ones

Hello,
I've done a fair few re-installs on my OSX and I'm now running 10.9.5 with Firefox 33, however every time I reinstalled, I copied over my profiles folder to have the saved passwords, history and add-ons already setup.
Recently something strange has been going on, I can't install an add-on, it installs but even after a restart it says it will be isntalled after restart.
I can't delete one, same thing as above, so I had to delete majority of them manually.
Every time I load firefox, it checks for add on compatability, which it didn't do before.
Is this some sort of a permissions issue or? I'd do a fresh install however I need to retrieve my passwords and browsing history first, and only way I know how to do that is with a plugin.
Any help would be appreciated!

• Can't install Add Ons

When trying to install a new Add On I get message "You need Firefox to install add-ons. " and Add to Firefox button blanked out. Frustrating, as it is already installed of course to get to the page in the first place!

Thanks for your suggestion. Followed the link but the problem remains with all Add Ons as per my original post.

• An unknown website just appeared in my 'exceptions' list (Tools Options Security "warn me when sites try to install add-ons"-how could this happen?

downloaded Firefox onto friends' laptop last night. Found it necessary to place two websites in the (afore-mentioned) "Exceptions" category. shut down/re-booted three-four times over the next few hours before shutting down the laptop and going to bed. Booted up this am and, WHOA!-suddenly my menu/toolbars have new, undesired toolbars(?) search boxes(?): the search box, if I remember right, was labeled "My Web Search sponsored by iwon!" Whilst eliminating the intruders I became aware that by some unknown means I had fetched up on some webpage I've never heard of and had no reason to go to-( the very top of my display (above the menu and address bar) read: 'reason upgrade Search' (separated by a line symbol I can't reproduce here), then 'Musician's Friend' ....HUH? (feeling like Dorothy w/o a tornado transport). So I finish getting rid of the invaders and check out my History to try to figure out how I wound up at this website. my history indicates the last site I visited before going to bed, then 'aclk' (www.google/aclk? followed by a string of mixed symbols letters etc. Then 'redirect' (www.rkdms.com/redirect?c=....and a string of numbers and letters. Then the website"reason upgrade Search (?) Musician's Friend " then 'redirect.jhtml' (www.search.mywebsearch.com/mywe.........) Them 'Firefox Web Browser& Thunder....' still no clue how or why I wound up at that site..didn't go there, (not of my volition, anyways!!) so im checking my security settings and in Tools>options>Security>advanced> in the "Exceptions" category of "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons" is a website I've never heard of (getpersonas.com) and DID NOT enter!!!!!!!.Need to know how this could happen, how to prevent recurrence and how hard should I hit the panic button because right now I'm totally freaked!
== today

These prefs get set to an empty String once the sites have been added to the whitelist if the pref is not empty if you open the exception window.
Tools > Options > Security : "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons": Exceptions
You can reset these prefs on the about:config page.
xpinstall.whitelist.add - addons.mozilla.org
xpinstall.whitelist.add.36 - getpersonas.com
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

• I followed your help directions on "Corrupt extension files" under "Unable to install add-ons", foolishly deleting the files you told me to. Now firefox won't open. I tried reinstalling firefox but it still won't open. Now what do I do?

I was trying to install the SEOQuake add on. After clicking install Firefox would hang up saying the script had timed out and asking if I want to stop it or continue. Didn't matter which option I chose nothing would happen. The only way to stop it was to close Firefox and restart. Tried restarting the computer. Still wouldn't install. Tried installing the Outwit add on and got the same error leading me to conclude it was a problem with Firefox, not the add on. I found this help page <http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Unable+to+install+add-ons?s=addons+won't+install&as=s> and did everything it told me to. Finally at the end I got to "Corrupt extension files". I foolishly deleted the files you told me to and now Firefox won't even start! I tried reinstalling Firefox and it still won't start. Tried restarting the computer. I have no idea how to get back to where I was let alone install the add ons I wanted to install. Please help. At this point I'd just be happy to be able to get Firefox working.

See Troubleshooting extensions and themes and Troubleshooting plugins
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />
See Basic Troubleshooting&#58; Make a new profile
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)<br />

• Firefox won't install add-ons even after clean install

Add-on installation fails in one of the following ways:
1. Unexpected installation error -203, or
2. The add-on appears in the "Extensions" tab as "Not compatible with Firefox 3.6.3", even though it is.
Sometimes I get the first error, sometimes the second, but all attempts to install add-ons fail with one of them.
I have tried all the troubleshooting advice in the knowledge bases (e.g. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions_-_Firefox#Unexpected_installation_error_-203) but with no success. I even did a clean reinstall of Firefox in a new directory (as described here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox#On_Mac_OS_X) but the problem remains.
What else can I do?

I have the same problem : impossible to install or update extensions; either by download (error -228) or by installing a local file (error -203). This is true for all situations : existing or new Firefox profile, different system users, etc.
I searched the kb, asked Google and so, but no solutions worked. The problem happens on all current versions of Firefox : stable, nightly,32 bits and 64 bits.

• Another way to install Add-ons (updated)

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that we just provided another way to install Add-ons, this is primarily if you encounter an install problem when using the Creative Cloud desktop app, then we now have an alternative way to install. We have also made it more discoverable. You can now find it in 2 places:
1. In My Add-ons (Click on "Install issues?" and if the Add-on is compatible with CS6 and you want to use it specifically for CS6 now you can! Just click the blue text "Install for CS6" which will take you to a direct download for use with Adobe Extension Manager CS6.
2. In the Where to find it section after you have acquired a product. Look at the "Install another way" section for details.
We also have a new troubleshooting check list.
It's not as slick as using the Creative Cloud Desktop app but it should work.
Clicking Download Add-on for that Add-on downloads a zxp file. You need to have Adobe Extension Manager installed to then unpack the zxp.
Please read the Where to find it section of that Add-ons for next steps once the Add-on has been installed via Extension Manager and please ensure you are using the compatible version of Extension Manager for that Add-on, so for instance if it's for CC or CC 2014 apps you need Extension Manager 7.2 or later. If it's for CS6 you would need Extension Manager CS6, there are links on the page to download Extension Manager.
Here's download links for Extension Manager
Download Adobe Extension Manager
If you already have Extension Manager CC you can also get a small update to Extension Manager CC 7.2 which works with CC and CC 2014 release here.
We hope you like this new alternative installation method. See below for a screenshot.
Update (July 29): You can now get access to install via Extension Manager in My Add-ons.
If you are having trouble
If the Add-on

I'm running OSX 10.6.9 on a MBP 15", dooming me to be very selective width CC vs CS6 installations. The Cloud app does not run on my OS, as far as I know, so I try to install via Extension Manager CC. Which apparently goes fine, but my (compatible, yes) purchased and presumably installed Lightroom 4 presets do not show up in Lightrrom, exactly as for this fellow:
I am unable to see the add-on I installed through extension manager in Lightroom
How come the installation procedure has to suck that much for the lot of us who havent the latest shining hardware/software ?!?
REALLY, REALLY annoying! Frustrating!

• Installed Add Ons, however ontinue to be prompted to install everytime firefox is launched. How do I make it go away?

We received the screen to install ad block plus 1.3.9 and Garmin Commun 2.9.3.1. Both installed and then we were prompted to restart Firefox. Clicked on the restart firefox button and firefox restarted. Now each time we click Firefox, the same screen appears with a long list of Java stuff. What do we need to do so that this screen doesn't appear?

• Where can I find the Install File for Acrobat Standard 9?

I am trying to reinstall Acrobat Standard 9, but can't locate the Install File for Standard, only for Pro.  Can anyone tell me where the file for Standard is kept?

As far as I know the older versions of Acrobat Standard are (still) not available... I've seen discussions where that's debated but I have yet to see anyone report  finding the file.
