Where can I make a request for Apple TV to develop an app?

I am mostly on Acorn TV, but they have stated that Apple has refused to allow their app on Apple TV. Why is this? It's a fantastic service, with many subscribers. Airplay isn't reliable or consistant. Where can I request an app be developed for Apple TV?

As this is a user forum no one here would be able to speak as to a decision by Apple or a developer.
If there are airplay issues it's either due to the network or something within the app (the latter would need to be fixed by the developer).

Where Can I Make a Request?

When I'm sitting out on my deck at night reading an iBook or browsing with Safari, I would really like a "Night Vision" mode. In the app Star Walk you can enter a night vision mode which turns all whites to red. It would really help keep away bugs and be easier on my eyes if the iPad had this ability everywhere. Barring that, at least in iBooks so I can read outside at night.

I'd read somewhere in the forum that ibooks on ipad - you can change the setting to have white letters on a black background. I'm still waiting on my ipad, but on my ipod touch I have not been able to find a setting to do this in either the ibooks app or in the ipod settings. I did find another book app called Stanza where you can switch easily between black fonts on a white background or white fonts on a black background. I have found that it is much easier to read white letters on a black background in low light level situations.
Not sure about Safari - I typically just turn the screen brightness down as far as I can ( I know it's still bright in complete darkness)

Where can I find creator codes for Apple files?

I am trying to use smartfolders to find all documents I have created with iWork (Pages, Numbers, KeyNote)
Alternatively, I would like to find families of .Pages or .Numbers files. (any content)
I would have expected this to be trivial with spotlight/smartfolders but it isn't.
Entering a simple "creator code" would do the job but no matter how hard I search on the Internet, I can't find the relevant, 4digits, code for a document created with iWork.
Can somebody please advice?

I have an iLife 11 disc that doesn't work very well so I tried creating a disk image of it with Disk Utility. It took two tries but finally got a disk image that I could use to install the iLife 11 applications. Give it a try.

Warranty and Support are only valid in the country of origin. You will need to take the device to whatever country it originally came from.
Apple will not accept shipments from outside the country nor will they return it to an address outside the country.

did Yamaha/Apogee ever work out the problem that you couldn't use mLAN drivers for the XS (it's not really mLAN, it's "based on" right?) and Apogee drivers at the same time?
I think Yamaha has updated their drivers twice since you and I last exchanged ideas on this.
You've got killer hardware, and while I'm sure it's possible to set up an XS to send MTC and for Logic 8 to deal with correctly, it's just backwards of the way I use (almost) the same tools. My experience is the same, control Logic from the Motif, only it's so much more than just stop/start, and locate. Your XS is made to be a remote controller for Logic, sliders, transport controls, even the info for tracks and plug-ins (in Logic!) show up on your XS display and you can do plenty without touching the keyboard or mouse... Besides the sound of the Motifs, they're just great at doing this kind of stuff too... I personally wouldn't consider anything else...
I don't want to send you down a path that won't work if the two vendors in question haven't solved this yet, but... I want to help you but deep inside I think you're approaching your top-of-the-line gear backwards...
of course, if this is still a vendor incompatibility thing... then you have no choice.
pages 839 (the graphic is on page 838) of the Logic user manual under "listen to MMC input" describes what you need to set in Logic 8 to make this work. Since I don't have an XS, I can't point you to the correct pages for that.
