i cant open it !!!

That doesn't make much sense. It could mean two things:
1) I go to the Adobe Web site, but I can't download AE! Help!
2) I downloaded AE to my computer, but AI can't open it up! Help!
Which one is it?
If it's the first, your machine probably doesn't meetr the minimum system specs for running AE CC, and it won't let you download it. The solution: get a new machine.

I tried downloading elements 13 and inserting my serial number, but it did not work.Where can I find the link to download elements 12?

Just upgraded to Lion, can't open any pdf file downloaded from the internet that was fine with Leopard before. I just got a black screen when I clicked on a pdf icon on a given internet site, and same happened with several sites that I visited. How can I overcome this obstacle ?

Try two things with Safari not running:
1) Launch Adobe Reader, open its preferences, select the Internet category, and check the values under "Display PDF in browser using". If it's checked, try unchecking it.
2) Look in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins (at the top-level of your boot volume) for something names AdobePDFViewer.plugin. If you see such a file, try moving it to a folder named "Disabled Plug-Ins" (if such a folder exists) or onto the Desktop.
Then see how things work.

Thank you for the update. I currently have Photoshop CS4. I plan to update to CS6. Unfortunately Adobe sales is closed on the weekend. I plan to purchase the upgrade on Monday assuming that is possible. In the meantime, I was going to download CS6 just to save time.

iOS apps will not open in iTunes. iTunes will sync your downloaded apps to your iOS devices (iPhone or iPad) only.
1. Login into your iTunes account
2. Authorize your Macbook Air
3. Download all your purchased apps to iTunes
4. Sync with your iPhone.

If you really do mean Photoshop 5, you are not likely to find a download resource for it if you don't have the disks - it is old.
If you happen to mean Photoshop CS5 you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

LibreOffice will not run Excel macros (read below) without some work, it's not a good solution, I also do not think that the free online version of MS Office (comes with OneDrive) has VBA, so no macros there either.
Bottom line is if you want to run macros from Excel, you'll need Excel. Preferably the Windows version (the Mac version may be better than Pages, but it's a toy in comparison to the real Excel)

Microsoft Office uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code, and LibreOffice uses Basic code based on the LibreOffice API (Application Program Interface) environment. The most recent versions of LibreOffice can run some Excel Visual Basic scripts if you enable this feature at LibreOffice - PreferencesTools - Options - Load/Save - VBA Properties.
If you use macros in one of the applications and want to use the same functionality in the other application, you must edit the macros. LibreOffice can load the macros that are contained within Microsoft Office files and you can then view and edit the macro code in the LibreOffice Basic IDE editor.
You can choose to preserve or delete VBA macros
Open a Microsoft Office document that contains VBA macro code. Change only the normal contents (text, cells, graphics), and do not edit the macros. Save the document as a Microsoft Office file type. Open the file in Microsoft Office, and the VBA macros will run as before.
You may delete the VBA macros from the Microsoft Office file on loading or on saving.

Do you have enough free space on your iPad for it to run efficiently? With iOS 8 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Try quitting all apps and then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Do this for all apps that appear there. Then reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
