I think there are some free basic online courses on Oracle University.
You will have to register at the Knowledge Center and then search for the courses if I remember right.

I remembered there is online help in SQL*Plus when I used Oracle7. After exec $ORACLE_HOME/bin/helpins,we can type HELP command in SQL*Plus to get a online help, such as:
SQL>help create table
I know $ORACLE_HOME/bin/helpins actually create HELP table in SYSTEM schema and load tree files (plshelp.ctl,plushelp.ctl,sqlhelp.ctl) in $ORALCE_HOME/sqlplus/admin/help directory. However,in Oracle8i or later, there barely contain any useful commands help-line in that three load files. So I can't get new commands info for Oracle8&9i when I use SQL*Plus.
Who can tell me where can I get new version of those three load files? I really want them!

Hello all i am using Audigy 2 ZS in Windows XP
and seek help with using Creative Audio Converter
the only mention i can find in the users guide is
this:
"For more information and usage details on Creative Audio Converter, refer to its online Help."
Ok the program does not have a help button that i can see
so where do i find the "online Help"?
Are there any help files installed for this program?
If the help files are only online on the internet, where
can i find them?
I have looked at the FAQ but see no info about help files.

From where can I download SQL*Net Version 2.3.2.1.4 and/or 2.3.3.1.12

I need SQL*Net version 2.3.2.1.4 to migrate a 7.3.2 database to 8i. Where can I get this ? It is NOT on my 7.3.2 CD-ROM as the documentation states.

I couldn't find the version.xml file on windows but it appears that my AE doesn't support firmware 7.5.2, I can't see why because it is the same version as the replacement unit I am using. Either way way, it seems that I cannot go back to v7.5.2 and since reloading v7.6.1 I still have no audio output so I'll have to assume a hardware fault grrrrr!!

Where can I find the Bonjour program on Apple so I can install it? I want to run Apple TV and I need homesharing from itunes. As of now, my itunes has no internet connectivity so I am assuming it is because I need Bonjour. I already tried the itunes diagnostic tool which told me I have no internet connectivity. Also, disabling pop up blockers and disabling firewalls don't help. I want to install Bonjour, but I want to download it from the Apple website. Any suggestions?

Uninstalling and then reinstalling iTunes should also reinstall Bonjour.
If you'd prefer not to uninstall iTunes, try the following procedure.

Embedding Videos (links) in InDesign, Where can I host them online?

Hello all,
I'm at a real loss here. I'm teaching my students to use Adobe Indesign's interactive publishing features. That's all well and good but we are having some issues with video. I understand that when you link a video in, it doesn't imbed - it goes into a resources folder. I've accepted that there is no way to actually embed the videos on the front end. However, there is a way to embed via a link which would solve the problem of having this extra tagalong Resources folder and prevent the file itself from becoming giantic.
The problem is you cannot embed files from youtube, vimeo, flickr etc. because the file paths do not start with http:// and end with .mov/.flv etc. I've tried truncating the links but that's ineffective.
Is there a free service somewhere that the students can upload their videos which will provide the proper file path?
I understand that if they all had their own hosting none of this would be an issue - they could just host the videos themselves and make a filepath through their own domain/hosting. However, not all of the students have this option, and the Swf/PDF is useless unless they can send it without that resources folder attached. We want the final file to work no matter where it is by linking back to a hosted video.

I would consider teaching DPS for my interactive class because I know many students would embrace it, but I'm afraid it's going to be a major hassle. Very few students at this school can afford Ipads (many don't even have personal laptops) and I'm not allowed to add any books to the cirriculum and require that they purchase them (though they can be suggested). Ultimately I think they will be disspointed to make a app and then never get to try it on an tablet device. I don't even own one so I can't really even practice the transition myself.
I'm not sure if they can sign into Apple ID yet, we are transitioning to Creative Cloud which might help next year. Currently I cannot even install basic drivers on the computer, and if the software isn't already on the computer or updated I cannot do anything about it. I learned all this when I tried to teach Fontlab and have them design a functional typeface. I hardly have access to change settings in these labs let alone install Fontlab or one of the similar free versions. I ended up having to do something much less relvent, by having them do it in Illustrator.
Unless there are lots of free learning resources (like good video tutorials, books etc) and it doesn't require any installation, updates, or money I can teach it. Kind of limiting. Corporate talked about beginning a digital publishing major - if they do they will provide Ipads and then they can start teaching some of this stuff. I know all the PDF features availble in Acrobat are still in InDesign (they very neatly divided the digital published section to show what is only swf output and what can be PDF output). I do cover the differences and teach them to make digital forms. I think they just like all the animation and fun stuff that a Swf provides. I still think it's good for them to learn motion paths, timing, and alternate layouts (I suppose thats the begginning step to DPS in a way). I appreciate all the input.

Stanard edition for downloading. I only find Express and Evaluation.

Where can I find software online for Canon Pixma mg5420 when my Mac OS 10.9.5 does not have CD slot?

I am trying to scan articles and photos to email on my Mac. I overlooked using the setup CD-ROM that came with the printer because my computer has no CD/DVD slot, but wonder if that is why the directions on the printer LCD screen don't tell me how to do it. I don't understand why the upper cassette tray has a place to insert a CD on the bottom of it and that that part of the tray can be removed. If someone can tell me what web address to go to, and what software I need to download, I would be very appreciative!

I created a website on iWeb 09' and I'm publishing via mobile me...I can't figure it out where in the iWeb SEO Tool free software to upload "robots.txt file, so search engines are able to find my site. I'm also using godaddy.
Here's my question. Is the root of my website in iWeb, godaddy or iWeb SEO Tool?

The root of a webserver is where the first folder- or filename to the right of a domainname is.
If you publish to MobileMe and use web.me.com/username then web.me.com is the root. NOT user which is the Web > Sites folder on your Disk.
If you use a Personal domain, www.domainname.com, then the Web > Sites folder IS the root.
iWeb and iWeb SEO Tool are applications. Godaddy is a domainname- and webhoster.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for a document that discusses XML parsing in a .Net environment.
If true, I would start at http://otn.oracle.com and follow one of 3 paths:
1) Sample code link at the top of the pagee, and explore;
2) Click on 'Technologies A-Z' on the left side of the page, select XML Technology Center and explore, or
3) Click on 'Technologies A-Z' on the left side of the page, select .NET Developer Center and explore.
It's frustrating when Oracle removes their sample and tutorial pages.
