Where can I send an ipod touch?

Where can I send a ipod touch, for it to get fixed? Anywhere besides apple store that I could absolutely trust. I don't want to send it in the mail either, because I don't want to get scammed. I guess I can go to an Apple store if I had to. But, my warrenty is up. Could they fix it, but would I have to pay more.
Problem(s):
- screen is cracked at bottom right corner going 1/4 of way up.
- Music won't play out of headphones. I tried cleaning it and wiggling it, but nothing. It plays, but it only has either the words of the song, or the music of the song. (NOT the words) I could press down in front of it for a while to make it work, but it doesn't work that way anymore. (Thats how the screen cracked I think.)
So can any of you look it up, and find what price I'd be looking at without buying another ipod touch. If, it's to much I might as well buy another ipod, NOt a touch, and only have it for music.

Ummmm, yeah I don't want to send it anywhere, I want to be able to give it to somebody. And I do not want to drive a long way away just to do this either. I might end up just getting a new ipod, but not a touch. Because those suck with the headphone jack! Thanks for replying though.
I also cracked my screen even more, only a little bit though. :/ I am going to leave it at my house for a while, because I don't want to crack it anymore.

Can you access the account on another device?
Have you tried when connected to another network?
Have you tried deleting the account from the iPod and reentering the settings since it is easy to make an error.

Everybody on Youtube has purchased an iPod touch 5th generation and has done a review on them. When will America or stores like Wlamart, Target, and Best Buy have their shot at getting iPod touch(s) in reatil for consumers like yours truly? Venom, I use a Griffin Survivor it's a full case, Note; it is waterproof not watertight-- drop it in the pond and your iPod will get wet. Overall works very well, have knocked the "stuffing" out of it, so far it has protected my iPod 5 from falls, drops (that should have broken the screen more than one time), a 6 year old, rain and snow. Also does a great job of keeping dust, dirt, sweat off the iPod. The belt clip locks shut, or can be opened to clip onto waist band or pocket opening. Fairly heavy spring keeps it in place. An added function the clip can be locked full open and it acts as a stand like a picture frame or you can remove it altogether. If you do decide to get one, get disposable screen protectors, cut then to fit the window of the survivor. the window is plastic and scratches easy. The protector does not interfere with function, when it gets scratched up peel it off and replace with a fresh one. They come in many colors, mine is black and day glow yellow, makes it easy to find! I literally just got off the phone with my local Best Buy and according to them Apple is hording the Ipod Touches to themselves and only selling them at their stores and on their online store until the end of the month. But I don't know if this is true because I'm pretty sure I have read posts by ppl who claim they got their touches at a store other than the apple store. so if you got your touch somewhere else other than at the online apple store or at your Apple store then please let us know.

You can shop around on places like eBay for a used unit, but that or purchasing a refurbished unit from Apple, when they have them available, will be the only way you're going to get one for less than the normal price of a new unit. No iPod touch that is in working order is going to be "cheap", though.

Actually, there is a very good store in my country (in terms of warranity, quality, reliability... And a few months ago my iPod Video sort of... died, and they exchanged it to a new one), but their price is really high. I save almost 200$ if I buy it through the internet... so I kinda... well, don't know what to do
However, there is an official representation of Apple in Israel, so I'll contact them and ask about how the warranity will work if I order an iPod from abroad. By now it's weekend down here so I'm gonna have to wait for the day after tomorrow.

Sorry but I am pretty sure there isn't a shop which offers such a service.
Apple stores offer a 14 day remorse period where you can return a purchase for a full refund without having to give a reason however this has probably expired - unless you bought from a different store with a similar system which you still happen to be within the time limit for.
Your best bet would be to sell your iPod 3G and put the money towards a new one. If you are having trouble selling it an Apple store will take it and give you 10% off a new iPod.
