  • How do I turn off song repeat?

Ever since I subscribed to iMatch, all my songs repeat unless I manually switch to the next song. I tried deleting all the songs on my iPhone 4 and downloading them from iCloud, but it still does it. Is there some hiddened button I can't find?

Tap the screen with a song playing then tap the repeat button on the left to turn repeat off (white).
See p. 61 of the User Guide.

  • Can I turn off the repeat function in podcasts in my 7th Gen iPod, so I can listen to only one podcast?

In my 4th Gen iPod, podcasts would not repeat unless I went to settings and clicked on the repeat function.  My 7th Gen iPod repeats all podcasts automatically, which I find annoying, and I want to play podcasts one at a time.  Is there a way to turn off the automatic repeat function?

    Thanks alot!

  • HT3577 How can I turn off the text editing feature on an iPhone 4 with iOS 6.x - when my Mom taps the phone, it always brings up copy.  It does not do this for me so I am assuming it is the way her disability forces her fingers to hit the screen.

My Mom has tremors and when she uses her iPhone and taps to select, the way she hits the keyboard causes the copy selection to appear.  It is not an issue with her phone because it does not do this for me.  I would like to shut off the double tap feature.  I have already tried Settings/General/Accessibility/Home speed typing = slowest.

The editing menu doesn't come up when you double tap. It comes up when you press and hold. It can't be turned off.

Using ios7 what replaces the old double tap on the home button for power saving

It's still a double-click to open the multitasking bar, but with iOS 7 you now drag or swipe the app from there off the top of the screen :

  • Firefox tries to connect to broadband when I am already connected to home wifi. How can I turn off this repeated attempt.

I boot my laptop and connect to my home wifi network. When I use Firefox, and am on msn.com or Yahoo.com, a window pops up for a connection to broadband, and it prevents the computer from moving to a link or another website unless I cancel this popup. It happens regularly while I am using Firefox to get to websites.

That is a Windows error message; beyond the scope of this forum. Looks like those two websites are trying to do something unexpected or other than "normal".
I tried to search for info about a 720 error message on Windows 8, most responses included reading the error log to see what "request" was triggering that message. That image shows that logging is enabled, so the answer "we" need is probably in that log. I don't know how to pull up that log myself, much explain how to do that to you.
My suggestion is to try a Windows 8 support forum for help with that.

  • How can I turn off the camera shutter sound on an iPhone 6 bought in the U.S.?

I know some countries don't allow the camera shutter sound to be disabled, but I'm not sure if the U.S. is one of those countries. Is it? If not, can someone tell me how to disable it please?

Use the mute switch on the side of the phone above the volume buttons.

Thanks for the reply. On my computer I am running PSCS2 and InDesign CS4. I went into InDesign Preferences and disabled running scripts. Then I opened PhotoShop, preferences and there was a option to uncheck, automatically start Bridge with PhotoShop. I swear I looked for this option 4 or 5 times and it was not there. Now either I am going looney or disabling the option to run scripts in CS4 did the trick. If any of you are still using CS2 would you confirm that the option is or is not there to disable bridge when starting PSCS2.
I am thankful that you guys have helped me to resolve this. I am still curious as to whether I am going looney....you guys are the best!

  • How do I turn off th automatically started music on my iPhone 7.0.3!

I've heard that Apple likes to do everything for you, but when I want qiet I don't want music to come on automatically   Other than turning the volume to 0 there is nothing I can do to turn the *^%& thing off!  HELP!!
    iOS 7.03 !!

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
