Where can one provide feedback to developers?
I am a normal user, annoyed by the fact that both Firefox and Thunderbird present similar dialog boxes both posing as an anonymous 'software security device' (oh come on!!) without telling me, the user, to which application they belong. I have different passwords for different applications (of course!), and often end up typing in the 'wrong' password. Can't one have the application's name appear in the dialog box so that one knows?

With in house iPad, iTunes in Mac Pro Mt. Lion and in Windows 8 Bootcamped, I have started getting email notifications for my questions in Bootcamp, iPad etc. forums and also for any answers I have contributed to.

For any normal Export, simply cilick the list of option and further click on Edit. There deselect to include Metadata, and there will be no EXIF data exported. But no copyright info either.
The option already exists to do what you want. Once a normal Export has deselected that, I believe even exports via plugin for say FB will not have it either. I tested with an export to SmugMug after deselecting in an earlier ordinary export, and EXIF info was not transmitted.

Where can one change the default setting for itune u (ie so that download all is default)
Where can the defaults for itunes download setting be changed? I would like it to be download all instead od download the first only. I don't want to have to open each and change it on a one by one basic. os is 10.8.4 running on a macbook pro
Okay after much research and trial I finally figured it out. When you open up the settings menu at the very top of the list of itune u courses is the default selection by checking this it then becomes the default choice. You will not see this unless you open the dropbox and go to the top and even then you might think it was just a header.

Where can one get power consumption figures for PCI-E Cards?
as i wrote before im putting together a fairly decent rig, and im doing some heavy duty research into the actual total power requirement for it, using PSUCalc2003.v2 spreadsheet to calculate the total, however ive been unable to get the power consumption figures for my nvidia based graphics accelerator a Gigabyte Tech GV-NX62TC256DS with turbo cache, my guess is that this card is at the lower end of the power consumption spectrum but it would be nice to know the exact figure,
any ideas on where can i get those figures ?

If you bought a mac pro mid-2010 it may very well have come with cable(s), that I have never read or heard from others.
OWC has not always inicluded cables but has charged extra, as they did with eVGA GTX285 where Apple sold with cables, and buying from OWC added another $30? or more to the cost with cables "extra" is what I recall. -
Where can one fine documentation on writing a HS driver?

We'd like to write a Transparent Gateway driver for our product. From our initial research, it appears to be a reasonable task given the skills we have on-hand. Unfortunately, the HS configuration tables are only partially documented, and I have not found any specification on the TGxxx component(s) at all.
We've considered writing an ODBC driver for the system, however, that add several layers of unnecessary complexity. Where can I find such documentation? Is there a developer license or agreement that is necessary?get in touch with your local Oracle office as you need to subscribe to the partner/developer program.

I just installed Lion OSX. Where can one find the "domain" for iWeb?
With Snow Leopard one could find the "domain" for one's iWeb in Admin+Library+application support+iWeb. When one changed computers, one simply had to save this domain and then put it in the right place in the new computer. Things have changed with Lion OSX - and I can't find the "domain" for my web site.
Anyone know where to look (Scripts?)

T...The reason Apple has hidden the User/Library folder is that there is not longer any reason to get into it what with iWeb (and iDVD) being discontinued and no longer supported.
We now know iWeb, and iDVD, have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. However, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
If a site is published to a folder on the hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client to an ftp server subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed will be broken. If published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. How to is described in this tutorial: #26 - How to Modify iWeb So Popup Slideshows Will Work After MobileMe is Discontinued.
The iLife suite of applications offered on disc is now a discontinued product and the remaining supported iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, the iLife 11 boxed version that is still available at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD.

Where can one find the serial number on the package of Adobe Photoshop Elements II ?
I have tried every single approach known to man, to get my software loaded into my laptop... I cannot locate the serial number on my box of Elements II, then fournd the reddemption code.. tried to find that on the web, with no success, then called Best Buy three times, maybe four.. no one knew how to help me, there, either --they should be able to at least, tell me where to find the serial code, somewhere on the packaging.. no matter what number, or approach I have used, for the last three hours.. none of them work.. can someone make any suggestions as to how to get this program installed ? The people at Best Buy, had no clue, and bounced me from person to person... then put me on their Geek Squad number, which played bad, scratchy MUSACK for twenty minutes, and no one ever picked up there ! So someone at Adobe MUST have some sort of suggestion on getting this loaded ! Bonnie

Where can I give feedback re: hidden x in tabs
Can someone point me to the Safari feedback form? Apple does a really good job of hiding the feedback pages. I can never find those doggone things; they always seem to be concealed deep down inside the support pages, or maybe I'm just not looking right.
I don't like the hidden x in the tabs and wish it to be always visible as in previous versions.

ive been using some unknown brand 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter and so far have no problems. what i meant by unknown is some cheaply made ones, doesnt even come in any packages. so i dun see why you could be facing problems with such adapters. it costs ard 8SGD (Singapore) here, which is equivalent to 5.6USD or 3.55 pounds.if you guys need help, i can willingly send over few brand new working adapters. u guys just need to pay for the product and of cos postage, how much? that i suggest you look up at the post office in ur area. i can also send a picture of them, if u wish, via email.
i'm doing this out of goodwill, as i see the abundant supply of working adapters in every hardware stores here. send me a msg or reply to this post if u are keen.

We've inherited an older system containing two PXI systems and one PC. The Labview -6.0 programs running on the three systems need to be rewritten from ground zero.
In hopes of saving a great amount of time, I am looking for a couple of TCP socket VI's that can be used to set up communications between the applications. There doesn't appear to be a backwards compatibility from examples found in newer versions of Labview.

Why backwards compatibility?
Look in examples/comm/tcpex.llb. Those examples are still mostly unchanged in the newer LabVIEW versions too.

Where can one download the V CAST music | Rhapsody for computer syncing?
I have an lg env touch vx11000 and would love to put some of my own music on it. I cannot find a download link for V CAST music | Rhapsody anywhere and if it is no longer available, is there another way to get my music onto my device? I do have a sd card, that is where I am hoping to save my music, if possible. I had this phone before (I really love this phone) and the same problem before.

I'd love to help you be able to play music on your device. Since V Cast music with Rhapsody isn't available anymore, I would recommend putting your SD card into a computer & transferring the music directly to the card. Then you can put the card into your phone, and play music right from your device.
