Everyone has said you can download iMovie '06 from Apple downloads. It is said to be better than iMovie '08. I just bought my iMac and iWork '08. Please help me.

You can investigate iLife '08 as mende1 suggests. Many people did not like the "improvements" Apple made to iMovie '08 and Apple went as far as making available a special download of iMovie 06 for those who purchased iLife 08. This download is no longer available.
You also did not say what hardware you are using. iMovie '08 will not run on all computers capable of running 10.4.11 - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1010

Do you mean NAM for Network Analysis Module? As that is a module/appaliance which requires a specialized designed hardware and cannot be installed on Softwares like for Windows/Linux.

Hi there,
I need to download imovie HD (6) because i need the feature to slow down/speed up movie clips and this feature seems to be missing in imovie 08, i heard that you can do it in imovie HD.
I know this feature is in imovie 09, but i don't see why i should pay £69 to update it when i only bought my mac in November last year.

You can download JES Deinterlacer for free and change the speed of clips.
iMovie 6 is no longer offered by Apple. You may be able to find a used copy on eBay.

Hi everyone, i bought CS5 about 6 months ago for the mac but my macbook hard disk went caput so i lost the lot by that time cs5.5 had come along so im pretty sure my product code wont work with cs5.5 but il try. It's a shame you didn't use Time Machine to make regular backups of your downloaded content. Furthermore, and only in hindsight, it would have been good
for you to exercise patience in delivery from Adobe to send you a boxed edition of your Creative Suite. That way you would always be able to install from the DVDs.
Well, I can only guess that you would have to purchase a copy from a third-party vendor or auction site if they still stock the original CS5.0 . You will have to get a new version that hasn't been previously opened and authorized or perhaps you can use the DVD that you get if you still have your original serial number(s) for your CS affiliated with your Adobe Account.

Yes. Apple no longer distributes iDVD.
1a) Buy an old iLife from a place such as e-bay or Amazon (https://discussions.apple.com/message/18750180). Make sure it is a version that has iDVD. Do not buy it from Apple since their version no longer has iDVD.
1b) Depending upon which computers and discs you have you may be able to do a custom installation of the software using old system installer discs that had iLife bundled.
2) Try a third party application (none have the features of iDVD though).

Where can you download the OER 10.3 installer

I cannot find the old OER 10.3 windows installer now that the 11g version is out. Does anyone know where it can be downloaded from? I had found something that told me what i thought I needed to do on the edelivery site but I did not see the specified part number or wording of repository in the area I ended up looking.

Where can you download a new rom image?

I recently made the mistake of not bleeding the pressure out of a water line before beginning a home plumbing project, and subsequently ended up with a dead phone. I pulled the battery, and put the phone in kitty litter. Now, the phone is no longer dead, but I get a message:
Update ROM Image?
YES = <UP> button
NO = any other button
If I press UP, I get a message about the ROM on the SD card, if I press down, I get color bars on the screen.
I have tried the Verizon software upgrade (VerizonTreo700pSDUpdate-rev1.zip (unzipped on a new FAT format SD card)) upgrade on the SD card, but it doesn't recognize a rom image as being present. Where can I get the rom image that I need?
I do have insurance on the phone, so I can get it replaced (for $50 copay), but the kitty litter has worked on the phone before (when I left the phone on the seat of my garden tracter and it rained). It was swimming, then. This time it only was splashed thoroughly.

Absolutely nothing. The color bars just continue to be displayed.

The directions were re-read, and no changes were necessary. I didn't unzip the update file on the hard drive and then copy the PALM directory to the SD card, because it was easier to just unzip it onto the SD card. I also tried it after moving the files from the PALM directory to the root directory, and it didn't do anything then, either. I get an error message telling me that the bios file is not present. I think that it's going to have to be sent in for repair.

Where can I download iMovie HD 5?

iMovie 08 came with my new macBook pro and I can't get it to do anything.
It won't load my .mov files unless I export them through iPhoto and it took hours on this forum to find that workaround.
It won't load photos from iPhoto and now I can't drag and drop the transitions into the window either as they just don't go.
Anyone know where I can get iMovie HD 5 instead?
Also, is anyone else having a problem with iPhoto 08 not saving changes like crops and things?
I'm so not impressed with iLife 08. Surely basic things working is the most important thing?

How do I tell if it's corrupted?
If you have properly converted movies and they still won't load, if you are bringing in photos correctly and they aren't being accepted by the Project, and if you can't apply transitions to your project, then I would suspect that either your project is corrupted or the application is corrupted. To find out which, I would open an new project and try adding a movie file, a photo, and apply a transition. If these work in the new project, then I would assume your old project was corrupted. If they still don't work in the new project, then either your application is corrupted or in a state of conflict with some other software. If you haven't added anything new recently or changed your system configuration in any major way, then I would lean towards corruption of the application.

Hey guys, I'm just looking for a place to download a version of iMovie, or any other simple movie software to make a short film? I had iMovie 9 which came on the laptop, but deleted it as I was having a billion problems with it crashing which never got resolved, so maybe an earlier version or something simpler.

Hi guys,
My MBP came with iLife06 loaded and I recently tried upgrading to Leopard which gave me a lot of problems. Therfor, I'm now trying a clean install of Leopard but will need to reload iMovie HD. I bought a copy of iLife 08 so have the media for this but not for 06, and I cannot stand iMovie 08.
Have tried searching on Apple's site but can only seem to find links to iMovie HD updates - can anyone point me to the correct location please.
