Where can you publish iWeb creations?

Hi,
I am very new to iWeb and am trying to learn how to make it all work. Once a page has been created in iWeb, I want to learn where I can go to publish it. Obviously, MobileMe is one option. However, I have read here at the forums all about the agony that MobileMe brings and I am not prepared to go down that route. My interest in computing will quickly evaporate if I experience anywhere near the frustrations that MobileMe users get every day.
So what other options are available? Free is good but I'll gladly pay for quality service. My goal is just to produce a blog using iWeb.

Free usually means not so good. I use Host Excellence for publishing but, if you are blogging and don't need an actual website, you would be better to forget iWeb and use something like Blogger or Wordpress.
The iWeb blog is one of its least desirable features and can cause many frustrating problems. If you publish to a server other than MobileMe you will lose the commenting feature.
You can create a far more professional and trouble free blog courtesy of Google and publishing is absolutely free....

Can you publish iWeb to other ISP's (domains)?

Is one stuck only publishing an iWeb page to a .Mac account? I can't seem to find how I can publish my existing web pages to my current domain and for that matter I can't open my existing files.
This seems to be pretty useless. Microsoft Front Page did more.
I assume I have to go back to my text editor and continue with manual HTML code?

iWeb can't edit or import html, it works totally differently.
By all means use whatever web editor best meets your needs. There are tons of them:

Where can I publish my iWeb site?

We are creating an iWeb site for our wedding, and we know that MobileMe is no longer accepting new accounts. Where can we publish our site? I've never done this before, so any help is appreciated! Thanks!

If you have internet access it usually comes with some webspace. Check with your ISP.
Or search for : webhosting <name of your community/town/province/country>
Or look in the Yellow Pages. You know, that stack of paper with a yellow wrapper. Old fashioned, but still worth the search.
The world is larger than MobileMe. For some that's terrifying.

Where can I aquire iWeb? It did not come pre-installed on my Mac Book Pro Retina.

You can copy it from any Mac that you own that has it (if you have one) or purchase a copy of the boxed iLife 11 or 09 disc from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
If you think you might want to use iDVD at some time then you should get the iLife 09 disk as that will have all of the iDVD themes. The iLife 11 disk does not include the earlier themes.

With as many people that have this same issue, I am very surprised that support is still sleeping at the wheel. Some of the suggestions border on the absolute absurd (e.g. create new user account, check the system clock, etc.). I've tried them all, including exclusion from AVAST, resetting router, etc etc etc. iCloud status shows all green.
As the owner of a software development company, I find it hard to believe Apple, of all support, has been unable to get this issue resolved once and for all. It would certainly make sense, as well, to collate this issue into a single thread instead of bouncing users off the moon and back.
I spent 1/2 day on the phone with Apple support trying to get iTunes to backup and was promised a call back from the next tier of support. That was 4 months ago and I still haven't been able to backup my iphone 4S. I've never seen software that is more kludgy and unreliable with every passing upgrade (sorry, but it's the truth)!
After two years of not being able to back up my phone, I am considering going to a more reliable platform. After 6 years on the Apple bus, maybe it's time to get off.

In the Organizer select two thumbnails and hit the F12 key to compare them. But I guess you mean in the Editor application. In Expert Mode it‘s possible to work with floating windows rather than fixed tabs but you first need to set your preferences. Go to:
Edit >> Preferences >> General (Windows)
Photoshop Elements Editor >> Preferences >> General (Mac)
Then put a checkmark in the box against “Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode”
Click OK
You can now open your two images and use the layout button at the bottom to choose various configurations or to cascade.

Bloodangel,Unless something changed recently, Best Buy doesn't carry the Zen Touch. Very few of the big national chains (BB, CompUSA, Circuit City) carry the Touch. They do carry the Xtra. In the NYC area, the only place that I think you can just walk in and touch a Touch is J & R, down on Park Row near City Hall. I haven't found any big stores in NJ, or CT that have Touchs on display.

iBooks Author creates a hybrid epub that works on iPad only.
Use Pages, InDesign, etc. to generate a standard epub that will work on both iPhone and iPad if that is your goal.

I'm sure the OP found his solution, but I wanted to share mine in case it helps some future seeker.
There are a lot of brand new cords on eBay for less than $10 including shipping, which is way cheaper than the $39 stereo connector kit or an AC adapter from a retailer. I just bought a used-like-new one for $5.50.
The cord is made by Volex, part number APC7Q. The Apple part number is M9573LL/A. If the seller got it from the stereo adapter kit, they'll probably list it under MD836LL/A, which is the kit's part number. I got the best search results on eBay using just the Volex part number.

I remember "publishing" menu in iweb but Ican't found now..

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.
