Where could i place the RTF file (locally or in server custom top)

Hi guys,
I am very new to xml report publisher and I completed one RTF template successfully and i am accessing oracle apps through my client instances which is in USA.
I dont knw where to place the RTF file whether in my local system or in the custom_top.
please reply immediately if any one knw,I hope that i will get immediately reply and its very urgent task to complete.

Hi,
I knw that oracle apps have separate res as XML Publisher Administrator.
Just I want to knw in Template tab we should attach the RTF.My question is that where should i browse for that RTF(in template tab) to my local machine or server custom top)..
Can i save my rtf file as locally or in server custom top.
I hope that u can get my question..

Where to place the class file of the java bean when using the packager

I am using the activex bridge in j2se 1.5.0_06
now i have created the jar file for my bean but where do i place the class file?
i.e the bean..if i keep it in jdk\bin the packager gives me an error..i created a folder in my public jre jre\axbridge\bin and placed the class file there too but even this didnt work
Kindly tell me what is the fully qualified package bean name if i have placed all my files under jdk\bin..

Without knowing anything about your system, your image file, your working document and so on nobody can even begin to guess. The file could be damaged, there could be color management issues at play and what have you...

Where do I place the different parts of the HTML 5 published files on a web page?

I recently published an HTML 5 canvas document from Flash. Once the files are published where do they go on a web page? For example, lets say I had 3 animations published from Flash as HTML canvas objects. The files go on different parts of page, let's say in 3 different places in the body. Flash outputs the HTML file, JavaScript file, and whatever images in an 'images' folder. I'm not sure where I would place all these files on my web site. I know the JavaScript goes in the head of the index page. However, where do the other parts go? Further, if I have multiple HTML canvas objects how do I separate the code.
All of the tutorials demonstrate how to publish the file, but give no assistance on how to place the file or files on a web page.

All of the sections marked with the <script> tags should go in the head of the About page. From this line: <body onload="init();" style="background-color:#D4D4D4">, you want to take the onload="init();" part and add it to the <body> tag of the About page. You can also add the background color if you want.
The part marked with the <canvas> tag is the part that need to be added to the body of the About page. I don't know what your About page contains, so I can't tell you where it should be placed.

"Windows could not start the offline files service on local computer. Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified"

Using Windows 8.1 Pro on Toshiba Satellite i7 Laptop with 8Gb Ram
After upgrade from Windows 8 Pro to 8.1 Pro, the Offline Files/CSC service refuses to start and gives the error message:
"Windows could not start the offline files service on local computer. Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified"
Before the upgrade, offline files worked fine... how do I re-enable offline files?

I had a similar issue - couldn't make any files available offline.
I found that the offline folder service would not start
This was because the CSC permission were totally screwed. I had to take ownership of each folder and file, one by one, then grant everyone full access.
then delete the full contents of the CSC folder
format the CSC database using the registry fix then reboot
in control panel, disable the offline files, reboot, then re-enable. and now its working :)
2hrs to resolve this, with grateful thanks to this thread and some others.

1st RMI implementation: where to place the security files?

I'm preparing my first implementation of RMI, I'm using the following example:

At the moment, I have the following questions:
where I have to place the security files? (which directory with what files)
when I try "javaw rmiregistry" there is an error message (can't find main class...)I don't know why... I use the same machine for both client and server... and almoust the same path (client: "...\bin\client" and "...\bin\engine" to server)

For server, filename will be = server.policy
path = should be in the classpath, for better put in folder from where you are executing.
otherwise, put the exact path in the command as (if file is in c:\:)

Not able to find out the path where i need to place the .plx file on server

I have to make some changes in the PLL (library) file and compile it into it's .plx file and move the .plx to the server.
I am not able to find out the path where i need to place the .plx file on the server.
I have placed it in /iasapp01/app_name/library,but it is not taking it into effect.
Please help,if anyone knows about this,as to how to solve this issue

My Forms Version is 9.0.2 and the application server is 9iAS( 9.0.2)
The variable FORMS90_PATH in the .env file has the following entries
FORMS90_PATH=/iasapp01/app_name/fmx:/iasapp01/app_name/library:/iaspp01/app_name/html
and i have placed the plx in the /iasapp01/app_name/fmx path,but somehow its not referencing it.
My Formsweb.cfg has the following entry...

I am doing a web application in NetBeans 5.0 and using MSAccess (*.mdb ) file as a backend, so now where i have to place this mdb file in this web application in NetBeans. and tell me the code how to connect to that mdb file.
The mdb file name is "db.mdb" and i am using a jsp page through which a servlet will be communicated. in servlet i am not able to connect to this mdb file.

When you think about it, your advice makes a great deal more sense. Any database BUT Access would be on a separate server (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) Why wouldn't that be a good idea for Access, too?

Unless you've got an app that supports the file type, and you've used Mail's 'open in' function (by holding the attachment and selecting where to store/copy the file), then the file/attachment will only be attached to the email itself in the Mail app.

while one video was getting cached . I could see the cached file in the cache directory that mozilla firefox uses which in my pc is .....Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\uujksq39.default\Cache. but later on when the full video was completely cached i couldnt find the file existing in that directory and i still have my session of that firefox opened and can watch the video from the firefox session.
since the cached video is still there ,there most be some place where the firefox is storing that file. is it the case that when the file is big (greater than some threshold value) firefox stores in some other directory?

Multiple "slapd[46]: could not load the replica file" Errors

Hi,
We've got an OD master (10.4.8) that sporadically falls into a state where it reports the error "slapd[46]: could not load the replica file." many times over in the system log. It will start this with no warning and when everything is running just fine, but once it has started there errors build up until it is reporting them up to 20 times a second. Usually once it gets to this stage directory services start to suffer badly across the network and all connected servers. We usually have to reboot various servers at this point including the ODM in order to get services up and running again. After the reboots sometimes the problem will just disappear, sometimes it will just start building up again.
We only have one other replica (down from 4) which is on a separate subnet across a WAN. We managed to get rid of the problem for a while by getting rid of the replicas on the local subnet, but it just pops back up again for no apparent reason.
We attempted to install a new ODM with a brand spanking PW server a while ago and new replicas, but hit the same issue sometime into the install.
The only time I've ever seen an issue with this many errors being reported so often it turned out to be a network loop, but I know there is not one present now. I did wonder about a rogue device on the network causing issues but I'm not fixed on this.
Can anyone give me any ideas where to start looking for a resolution?

Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools'.
Step 3: Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type the following without
quotes (hit Enter):
'cd c:\program files\windows resource kits\tools'
Step 4: Now type 'reset.cmd' and hit Enter (without quotes)
You will see the Command Line Tool running for some seconds. The issue
should have been fixed and Quicktime should run again.

Where does iWeb save the site file when you click the save button?
Is it saved as a seperate file or is it hidden within the program?

But you probably don't want to keep it on your iDisk. The file could be huge and the back and forth network bandwidth involved may make iWeb opens and saves unbearably slow. I've always recommended one of those cheap USB flash drives to keep a potable Domain file on.
