Where did a minimized window in safari go?

It used to be, when you were in safari and minimized a window, you could go get it off of the dock, in the last section. Now, I cannot find where they go or how to get them back when I click the yellow button to minimize it.
Any help?

Thank you, I did not know they were listed there. I don't minimize that often and lately I'd stopped as I could not find them once I did! LOL This is a nice solution rather than multiple sitting on the doc.

To check your S.M.A.R.T status open disk utility and click on your drive and then click on the info icon.

Updated to Mountain Lion and now the activity window in Safari has disappeared. I use that a lot so am really hoping it still is accessible. When I search activity window in Safari help, I get this:

Open the website using Safari, and then choose Develop > Show Web Inspector.If the Develop menu isn’t in the menu bar, open Safari preferences, click Advanced, and then select “Show Develop menu in menu bar.”

But there is no menu labeled "Develop" and nothing called "Web Inspector". So what's up with this?????

This does not work for Mountain Lion.
If you have Mountain Lion and truly wish to be able to still use Safari 5 you would need to create a small partition and install Lion. You'd then need to log out of Mountain Lion and login to Lion each time you wish to use Safari 5, which is not all that practical, but it will work.

Where did my minimized pages go? How do I find them and get them back?

I have OS X 10.8.3 (Lion). When I minimize a page by clicking on the yellow button on the upper left, the page disappears and I can't find it. Where is it? (Swiping 3 fingers across my touchpad does not show them or open programs.) In the past, the minimized Firefox pages went to my dock. This was a great and very handy, efficient feature. Now I am going bonkers because all the audio starts up and plays at once and I can't find the pages to turn them off. That is the worst of it! Help!
I am sure there is an easy solution. And please, is there a way to get the pages to minimize to the dock again?

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.

Hi, recently I updated to Version 7.0.3, and, I dont know where I can see my "download window". I miss it because within the download window I could use other apps and see the download status in a very handy way. Perhaps they changed its place or name, if anyone could help I'll be very grateful,
PS. inst View > Show Downloads, I mean the WINDOW for DOWNLOADS.

QuickTimeKirk, i dont mean the activity. its a simply little window that show a download progress bar,
used to be under "WINDOW>>DONWLOAD" something like, and now it is a arrow-pointing-down rigth to the search bar that can be acessed on "VIEW>>SHOW DOWNLOADS".

Where's The Activity Window in Safari 6?

I tried re-installing 5.1.7 but it immediately crashes now. Switching the Safari 6 file for the 5.17 file isn't enough; there are probably other files that need to be downgraded also but I didnt want to play around with that. I have found a weird, obtuse work-around, though.
1.      Enable the Developer menu under Preference...Advanced.
2.      Open the Web Inspector BEFORE you get to the page with the movie you want to save. You can actually go to the page first, then open the inspector, then hit back then forward to reload the movie page. Just hitting reload may also work.
3.      In the left-most pane there will be a list of folders; one should be titled "Other". Reload the page to get this folder if it's not there. I don't know what to tell you if there is no "Other" folder.
4.      Click the triangle to open the Other folder.
5.      One of the things listed in Other should be the movie file; click on it.
6.      In the right-most pane the full url of the movie willl be listed. Copy this URL just like you would've from the activity window.
This has worked for me. I'd rather have the Activity window back.

In io7 you could have multiple logon names for a given webpage, and select which one you wanted, and even though these different names are saved in saved passwords in the Safari settings, I can't access them. Safari now just allows one saved name/password per webpage, and if you want to change this name, you have to turn off saved passwords, and type in the new name and password. Ios7 worked great, why did you mess around with something that worked? If I could, I would roll back to ios 7.

You should get an Open In window that pops up in Safari that allows you to choose the app in which you want to save the PDF. If you do not have an app that works with PDF files (iBooks, Adobe Reader) you cannot save the file anywhere.

This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

It's not necessary to change the Command N keystroke..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

Now, I find myself unable to update my version of Itunes. it asks me if I wish to update the version, I say yes, and then nothing happens.
With that one, I'd try updating using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file, downloaded from the Apple Website:

Safari Minimized Windows Get Lost After Restart

If I have any minimized windows when I quit Safari, I can't make them visible after I re-launch Safari without some extra trickery.
They are shown in the Window menu, with the "◆" bullet prepended, but when I select one of them, the bullet is replaced by a ckeck mark, and the frontmost window loses focus, but the minimized window isn't shown. It's as if the window is fronmost but not visible, as if it were positioned outside of the viewing area.
If I then select View > Enter Full Screen, the window becomes visible and remains so after I exit full screen mode.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? It's obviously a bug of some sort, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced it bufore I report it. I have a hunch that it might be limited to Safari 7 and Mavericks running on older hardware. I'm currently using Safari 7.0.4 in OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), but I have noticed this ever since upgrading to Mavericks. I'm not sure exactly how old my MacBook Pro is, but it's old.

Is this system in domain ?
