Where did access to button events on page 0 go?

Hello.
I have a simple menu system established for my applications where a select list item and a button are created on page 0.
If I choose to "Create a button in a region position" when I establish the button (let's call it "GO_MENU", I am given the option of choosing the button event for branches on the other pages in the Conditions for the branch under "When Button Pressed". So far so good.
However, if I choose "Create a button displayed among this region's items" when I establish the button, the button does not appear in the LOV for the "When Button Pressed" condition in the branches for any of the other application pages. What's magical about this choice that suppresses the availability of the button event from the other pages?

For your branch,
use condition type: "Request = Expression 1"
expression 1 = P0_GO_MENU
Why it doesn't show your page item button in the LOV? Because it's not a standard button anymore...
I don't have other information... someone from the ApEx dev team should be able to give more technical explanation.

Just installed upgrade to Firefox 4.0. Where did the "Stop" button go on the Navigation Bar. I checked the Customize dialogue box and it isn't included. Is anyone else missing it? It was a very helpful button and allowed us users to stop a web page and move on if it wasn't what we needed.

In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. The iTunes app cannot disappear ... it may be on a different screen.
Regardless, you can force it to your home screen by doing:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

Did you open up a new message window then go to the View>CustomizeToolbar command and try to drag a NEW send button up to the toolbar? or try to drag the default toolbar set up to the toolbar?

Since you now say you have no toolbar (when the topic of the post said 'Where did my SEND button go') If you look in the upper right corner of the window, you should see a small oval. Click that to expand the toolbar.

Where did my trash button go on my email???

When an email is open there is no longer the trash can at the bottom to delete or the folder to send the email to a different folder. Where did it go?

double tap on your home button and when your multi task icons come up press and hold one of the icons untill it jiggles. then you will see a small x in the left corner. click on the x on each iclon to close all of your multi task icons. the sign back into your wmail and your icon should be on there.

Where did my import button go?

In Adobe X, where did the "marquee zoom" and "single page scrolling" buttons go?

There are many other buttons that were available in earlier versions that are no longer there.
For single page with scrolling, apparently you now have to go View\Page Display\single page and then View\Page Display\Enable Scrolling, where before I had it on my toolbar, one-click and done.
Same for marquee zoom, I had a button, one-click and grab part of a page and you instantly had a close up. Now it's go find the menu, View\Zoom\Marquee Zoom, THEN go grab your page.
When going to a new version, if the feature is still there, don't REDUCE the ways in which to turn it on, or make it so when you open a document it automatically turns off the feature you were just using in a previous document.
Let the users move the Quick Tools toolbars around, combine on one line, use the previous interface etc. People who use software like this daily in their jobs (like me!) don't like having changes forced on them when their company chooses to update versions. It's great when new useful features are added, but not at the cost of removing the stuff we already use all the time.

Go to View - Show/Hide - Rulers & Guides, and un-tick the Snap to Grid

WHERE DID YOU HIDE THE AD BLOCKER PAGE TO "ALLOW" CERTAIN POP-UPS?

I've got a few questions! And I WILL NOT keep logging in to ask every one! First, Why, after I have logged in to get to the support page, do I have to log in AGAIN, just to get to the page to see a reply to a question? AND THEN, when I want to ASK a question? There should not be a need for "SECURITY MEASURES" just to ask a stinking question for gods sakes! Second, When I downloaded fire fox I installed the Ad Blocker Add On, but now that I want to tell it to "ALLOW" certain sites to be "overlooked", I cannot find the icon that used to be up in the right hand corner next to "Home" and Bookmarks"! I was told these were going to be Easier to use. I have looked everywhere I can think of that should be looked at to find something from Fire Fox and its not anywhere., Please help everyone, and me, out with these problems!

Well I have to say thanks because I found the Ad Blocker icon. But when I was trying to move it I could not drag it anywhere when I tried to, so I clicked on "put in status menu/bar" and low and behold now I cannot find it or the status menu/bar anywhere! When I look to the menu bar,(which by the way I did not find except by accident, way down near the bottom of the screen) there is a n"faded out" tiny x that goes away with the entire menu bar whenever I click on it! So now if someone would be kind enough to aim me in the direction of the status menu/bar, I'll put it back where it was and hope I won't lose anything else! thanks for the quick help and Goodnight all!

Where did the microphone button disappeared?

I bought yesterday an Iphone 4s and I liked the fact that you can dictate instead of writing, whenever the keyboard appears. I restored everything I had on my old 3gs mobile and, after I did that, the microphone button disappeared. I upgraded the software but still... it's not there. What can I do to have it back?

That means you have moved to FCP X 10.1.1.
It uses the new Library model and the Projects button is gone along with the Projects folder.
Search this forum for how to update from older versions.
Done the correct way it's trouble free whereas the incorrect way leads to headaches.

Where did my repeat button go..?

So, is it just me being incredibly stupid, or is the repeat button gone or not where it usually is? I guess this is what it's supposed to look like, but is it just gone?

You can access the repeat options if you right-click on the shuffle icon, or if menus are enabled you can use
Controls > Repeat > Off | All | One.
Once the control is visible you can click it to switch between states as before. If the control is turned to off it disappears on the next track change. In contrast the shuffle control remains visible whenever it is appropriate. Hopefully the next release will fix this.

Where did the update-button go?

I can update my apps from the iPhone, but not from iTunes.
What happened?? This used to be SO easy, and now, I just can't find an update button on the appstore on iTunes for my apps. Is this a new "feature" for iTunes 10??
Incidentally, how the heck does one get in touch with Apple's technical support? There is a email-contact button for this, but it only leads to this forum or some other static pages - Very misleading, innit? Very frustrating too..

If you are referring to apps for your iPhone, this is the wrong forum for this question. This forum is for questions about the Mac App Store, which while similar in concept is for Mac OS X apps and does not use iTunes. I'd suggest you ask for assistance in the Using iTunes Store with iTunes for Mac forum. You'll be more likely to get useful advice there.

Apple technical support is via phone only; there is no email support. If, however, you want to contact the iTunes Store customer service department, you can contact them using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button).

Where did my "back" button go & is there a key command for it?

Two questions:
1. Somehow I lost my "back" and "forward" buttons. There where there one day and now they're gone. I have a refresh button, an add bookmark button and a go to homepage button but the others have vanished. Where have they gone?
2. Are there key commands for "back" and "forward?" It sure would make surfing easier.

Go to your Safari View Menu and select Customize ToolBar. There you'll be able to drag/drop the back/fwd buttons to the bar.
Quickkey command -
back command key + [
forward - command key + ]
These key prompts are listed in the History Menu.

Where did my send button go?

I wrote an email this morning, and when I was ready to send, there was no send button! Where could it have gone?
Here is a screenshot of my problem:

Your image does not clearly show the top border of the "new message" window, so I can't tell for certain how much stuff there actually is along the top edge of your image. However, I think I just barely see the red LED (yellow and green covered by your big red circle?) in the upper left corner of the picture and the gray oval in the upper right corner.
If what I'm seeing is what I think I'm seeing, then all you should have to do is single-click on the gray oval in the upper right corner of the message window. That toggles the "show/hide toolbar" and unless you, additionally, dragged the Send button off the toolbar during a "View > Customize Toolbar" exercise, that should restore it, along with numerous other icons.

Where did the "back-button listbox" go?

It used to be (firefox 3.xx) that I could click a little arrow and choose to go back in my recent browsing history as many pages as I had viewed on the current tab. Now (firefox 4) I have to click back one at a time. How do I get the little listbox to come back up?

I solved the problem. Now it is a right-click which triggers the appropriate response.

Where did autofill go in the new pages program?

The old version of pages allowed me to input minimal info into a cell (account number in my case) and the program would automatically "auto fill" the remaining info for me saving countless hours of cut and pasting. Has anyone seen it in the new version?

Apple moved the pulldown to the centre of the cells, instead of the corner.
