Where did all my photos go from Photoshop Elements 5.0? I opened up view and organize and it is empty.

Did you change catalogs?
Look under the File menu for Catalogs

WOOHOO!!! i finaly fixed the problem. Here is what to do:
Chances are if you did the same thing as me you either have
A) No album names at all for ALL your songs in your library
or
B) Have the same name for every album for ALL your songs in your library.
Here is how to fix it (yah it will take a little work but its worth getting your iPod functioning properly).
Unless you dont want to have to go and actualy set al lthe album names for every song here is what you can do:
Go through to iTunes and arange your songs by Artist name. Click the top song for your first artist, hold Shift and click the last song for that same artist (to multi select all the songs for the artist) go into get info and check the Album box. Copy the name of the artist to the Album box and hit ok.
Now when u update your ipod and go into ur Artists section the actual Artist name should show up instead of the song names.
For some reason having the same album name for all your songs messes up the organization of the iPod.
Hope this helps anyone else that is having the same problem

How to transfer the photo captions from Photoshop Elements 12 organizer to Adobe Revel albums ?

Thks for the contribution. However, it seems I cannot solve my problem with the kindly proposed solution.
Let me rephrase my problem:
I off-line prepare, organize photos and also add manually individual photo captions with PE12 Organizer. In the properties panel, I can check that the photo properties (including captions) are properly associated with the photo.
However when I upload on Revel -directly with PE12 Organizer (selecting Share/Private Web Album)- these individual (accordingly captioned) photos or albums, I cannot find the photo captions (i.e. the photo caption did not directly show up with the photo in Revel). This obliges me to a double work by copying and pasting each photo caption.
Is there any plan to get rid of that ?
Let me add that I am using the French version of PE12

Where did all these calendars come from??

Hello,
This is now my second post!
I have a Blackberry Storm, and when I sync'd my personal laptop (calendar, contacts, notes etc) I have suddenly noticed that the appointments are duplicated on my Blackberry - but in different colours!
I then found that I could select which calendar I was to disply - and when I select just one of them things are OK, but when I select all, I see the duplicate appointments again!
So, my questions are this:
Firstly, Although I have three email accounts set up in Outlook - I only use one calendar - so where did the other two come from?
Also, how can I delete ALL calendar entries and start again?

Duplicate photos sent from Photoshop Elements 7

Everytime I send a Photo Mail from Photoshop it sends 10 duplicates to recipient. Even happens when I send a photo to myself. I'm using Outlook for my e-mails, but my Photoshop is connected to Outlook Express. If I remove Outlook Express just wondering if I will lose all of my photos in Photoshop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At what step you see duplicates?
Did you ever try Outlook....
Actually I use Outlook for PSE emails and have never seen such problem.

Well, your photos aren't "in" in the organizer, so you can just point DPP at the folders where they reside, or you could set DPP as your external editor for the organizer, if you prefer that. Organizer>Preferences>Use a Supplementarty Editing Application.

How do i maintain transparency of photos imported from Photoshop Elements?

i prepared some sepia photos i found in a digital library in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. the subjects are in the center and i removed the space around them, making it transparent. however, after importing them into Premiere Elements I've lost the transparency. I've tried keying with some of the options, Chroma Key, Non Red Key, etc., but no matter what i do i can't attain the effect i want, which is to show the background color i selected.
i learned Premiere in the early days when only one video line maintained transparency. i changed my pictures to two different video lines thinking this would make a difference, but that didn't do anything. i'm stocked, can't finish my project because of this.
i also accessed Premiere Elements help, but the explanation they give is like a long commercial that doesn't go anywhere. it tells of all the options available but it doesn't explain how you apply the options to your problem. i already own the product, i know it's good, that's why i bought it. don't have to keep reselling it. Uff!
any ideas?

Is you only interest in maintaining the transparency in the saved Photoshop Elements 10 Editor image created with transparency?
Then the png and psd save from the Editor should serve your purposes. Are you also interested in how to maintain transparency in the Premiere Elements 10 export which includes the images with transparency?
If so, please look at Share/Computer/QuickTime and, under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of the preset selected, look especially to the settings of Video Codec = Animation and Depth = 32 bit.

How can I open an iPhoto photo directly from Photoshop Elements 6?

I thought I read here in this forum how to open a photo that's in iPhoto ('09), directly from PSE 6. While in PSE 6, I go to File>Open>Photos(in Finder Sidebar)>then click on photo(s) in iPhoto and click on "Choose".
But when I do this, the "Choose" option remains grayed out! So I can't choose any photos directly from my iPhoto library.
What am I doing wrong, or is this just not possible to do? Or is there another way that doesn't involve first moving my photos out of iPhoto onto my desktop?

Thank you both for your responses! Unfortunately I realized I hadn't explained myself well enough and my question is still unanswered.
I do know how to set my Preferences in iPhoto to edit in an external editing software like PSE. But I like iPhoto '09 for editing so I don't want to do that.
What I use PSE 6 for is digital scrapbooking. So what I'm trying to do is figure out a way to get to my iPhoto library directly from PSE 6 while I'm working in it on a scrapbook layout.
I thought I could just go to File>Open>Media(Finder sidebar)>Photos>, which then opens my iPhoto library, and then from there choose my photos to bring into PSE. But the "Choose" button remains grayed out when I do this, even though I am in my iPhoto library and can click on photos.
I don't understand why? I've discussed this on message boards at digital scrapbooking websites, and none of the Mac users I've discussed this with, can figure it out either. We keep hoping there is an answer to this frustrating dilemma.
What we all do right now as a work around is choose our photos first from iPhoto and move them to the desktop before we even open PSE. Then we can find them easily. But we want to be able to navigate to iPhoto from within PSE and choose our photos that way. Possible??

I have just got my dreamweaver up and running on my mac, I
could not get my site to look right using my back up file which
come from my old PC. So i have just finished running a 'Get
File(s)', now all my files have been copied down to my Mac.
I have opened my 'index.html' file and at the bottom of the
page in dreamweaver the page contains a long list of random
hyperlinks there is over a.
I have checked my website front page ( www.Essex2Let.co.uk )
and these links do not exist at the bottom of the web page so that
is good news.
Does anyone have any ideas why this has occurred??

I have had this happen in the last couple of weeks to my
personal site.
My host reckons they made the changes by ftp so had somehow
got my
username and password... they think they guessed it, which is
possible,
but personally I think they have a security issue with the
site, as my
pages were just html, nothing which could cause a security
issue. I am
going to change hosts.

Where did the mysterious photos come from?

I've just been browsing my photos on iPhone 4S and noticed there are two photos that I dont remember I was taking (it's two weeks old so i would remember) and no one else was using my phone. The next strange thing is that one of the photos is 640x480 and I dont know if iPhone is even able to take photos in such bad quality.
Any idea how it could get there? It's kinda scary.

Where did second streaming photos come from and how do I get rid of it?

I used to take pictures and videos that later could've been found under photos app. Now there are two choices in the photo app. One I think says streaming. I cannot delete anything there and the are even pictures of my home page. It's useless to me, so how do I get rid of it and only have one place to view the pictures and videos taken? Thanks!

If you what to keep your pics in the photo app, just turn off photo stream.
Settings - icloud - photo stream - off.

That album, My Photo Stream, is no longer used.
Instead, look in "Recently Added" within Albums, and also within Photos in the various timescale views. Both places should contain photos taken by any of your devices.

Luckily for the most part, I backed up photos on my flash drive, but I had just imported dozens of pictures from my phone. I reopen iPhoto soon after and the prompt asking how I would like to start iPhoto and all came up. I selected what brought me to the iPhoto I open up to every day only without any pictures.

Are you in the correct account that contains the iPhoto Library?
Did you ever move your iPhoto Library to an external drive? If so, and you disconnect this drive, iPhoto will create a new blank one in the pictures folder.
Check your computer to see if the "iPhoto Library" was accidently moved to the trash.
If you still can't locate your images, launch finder, and select "all images" in the source column. This will display all images on your computer. Be carefull not to delete, move or modify the images you see in this manner, as it will cause issues with good iPhoto Libraries, however it may help us locate where the images are.
Once you locate an image, click it once, then in the top menu bar, select "view / show path". This will display it's location along the bottom of the finder window.
Once you know where the image is, this should help you launch iPhoto to the correct library.

If you had photos in Photoshop.com when the migration happened, then an account would be created for you on Revel using the same Adobe ID unless you had already created one.
Did you already have a Revel account when your files were migrated? If you did not, then the photos would move to <YOUR FIRST NAME HERE>'s library. If you already had an account with an existing library and photos, then migrated files would be moved to a library named "Photoshop.com library". To change libraries, use the menu on the upper left at adoberevel.com or go into Settings, if on an iPad or iPhone.
