Where did my purchased Alert Tones go?

All of a sudden when I get a text its the default sound, I went to settings>sounds>text tone and both of my purchased tones are gone. It is quite fustrating that stuff dissapear like this, same thing happened with my contacts a while back. I tried syncing the alert tones onto my phone again still does not show up. I'm getting annoyed, Does anyone know how to fix this?

HT1848 I purchased alert tones in itunes and updated my itunes. Now my alert tones do not show up, although if I were to go re-purchased those items, it says I already purchased them. Where do I find those tones and how do I get them back into my phone?

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

Where did my purchased APPS go in the App Store?

I went into the App Store by using the icon on my iMac's desktop at 11:50 am cst and clicked on Purchases at the top and it had a list of all my apps purchased with the dates. 20 minutes later, I go back to the App Store, using the icon, and now none of my purchases are there? Where did they go? I even went in through iTunes, and none of my purchases are listed anymore. I need to redownload an App that I purchased.

Why do my purchased alert tones keep disappearing from my iPhone6?

I've been buying a few fun alert tones from the iTunes store and they work fine until I turn my phone off. When I turn it back on the tones are gone and they aren't available in the list of sounds when I go to reconfigure. What's going on?!

Now, I can't find the album. Did I buy this album and got nothing? Where is it? HELP. I need it for a school project.

I purchased Dreamweaver CS5 (11.0.0) in late 2010. I am in a situation where I need to reinstall my Mac; and I thought that I could just check into my account and re-download.
Much to my surprise, there is no history of my purchases, nor is there a link for my copy of Dreamweaver CS5.

The last screen is gray when looking at my purchased apps on my IMac. It shows apps that I purchased but it looks different than the other screens. These apps do not appear at all on my IPad. However, they once did. How do I fix this problem.

Are all your other Home screens full? If so, watch for the next app you download. If you have a problem you could organise a number of apps into a folder as a temporary measure to free up some space on the last working Home screen page. See Ch 3 of the User Guide.

They should have downloaded into the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store) :
If they aren't in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

Where Did You Get Your MacBook?

For those that have a MacBook, where did you purchase it from? Even with the student discount, purchasing from the Apple store doesn't provide any savings because of the taxes (~$84.00 in NY). I know Amazon.com sells it, but it's pre-order.

No need to get defensive. I wasn't saying that people shouldn't use the Apple Store. I was saying that unless Apple recognises your problems as problems, they will not do anything for you. That is to say, issues such as heat, whine and other common issues people worry about here on this forum will not be addressed by the Apple Store geniuses because they don't consider these problems out of specifications. This also means that if you have these issues and decide you can't live with them,you most probably will not be able to return a macbook of MBP to them without a restocking fee.
Believe me, I was amazed that they were so unwilling to consider not charging me a restocking fee. I was very calm, told them about the issues (whine, heat, loose battery, warped lid) and told them that over the past 15 years as an Apple user I have never felt disappointed with an Apple product except for this one. I told them that I have purchased items for tens of thousands of dollars from Apple over the years and asked them if they would at least consider charging me just half the restocking fee given that these are problems SO MANY people are having. There are OBVIOUSLY issues with the MBPs. The guy (who claimed to be the 'lead' rep there) refused and told me, in the same breath, how much they 'love' my business, pointing me in the direction of the checkout so I could line up to get refund, minus the $200 fee for beta testing. How insulting and disingenuous is that!
There are stores that will accept your claim that an item is defective. Since Apple is the mothership they decide what is within spec while some other stores just trust you when you say your notebook has excessive heat problems or whines and therefore needs to be returned. Given the many problems reported, I would recommend anybody to buy from a store with a more generous and no hassle return policy. Getting an exchange will not help if all units have the same problems....

My alert tones I purchased are on itunes but won't sync back to my iphone.

I tried to uncheck the alerts and then sync... then re-checked them and sync'd again but that only fixed my ringtone problem. Still cant see my alert tones... it's so frustrating to pay .99 for something and have it disappear... They are on my itunes under ringtones... and also in alerts some of my ringtones werent showing up. This happened once before and I re-purchased the alerts but to have them on itunes tells me... there is a way to get them back to my iphone. Can someone help me... I am usually pretty tech savvy but this is perplexing me.

Hope you don't mind me crashing your thread but I've ripped a movie and my DVD settings are the same as yours, I followed instructions on the Handbrake website and my picture settings were 320 x 100 and something (it was widescreen) and it still doesn't work. Says it cannot play on my iPod. It's a MP4 format and the H.264 setting as you have too. Don't know what I did wrong. It plays in iTunes and on Quicktime.

Now, only a few of my songs appear in iTunes. There is no help that I can find not requiring the time and effort of a PhD candidate to research. I'm looking for a quick answer -- is the Apple Cloud a fraud and I should get out of it, or am I a dummie because there is a quick and easy fix?
