Where did my RSS feeds go?

I've already noticed a number of people compaining about the sudden disappearance of their RSS feeds from Mail/Safari, but I have yet to see anyone answer those concerns on where we can find that data to import into another app.  I had 50+ feeds before my Mavericks upgrade that I've followed over the course of the last two years.  Many of those I can't even remember where I found them, but I still followed them for updates.  Is there any chance that data is intact somewhere that I can recover it?

Disregard.  Found another post that addresses this.

Where is the RSS feed or Subscribe button in Safari 6?

Checked out some readers, but I'm more interested in a plugin for Safari 6.  Can you recommend one?  Is there one at this time?
I think the RSS feed was removed in Safari 6.

  • Where is Mail RSS feeds on Lion 10.8?

Please let me know where to find Mail RSS feeds using Lion 10.8 and Mail 6.0.
    Thank you.

RSS has been completely removed from Mail and Safari in OS X 10.8. There are several third-party RSS readers available; search MacUpdate for "RSS".
BTW, this forum is for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. The OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion forum is here:

  • Where are the RSS-Feeds?

I subscribed some RSS-Feeds in my GroupWise fatclient and now i wanted to read them in my WebAccess. In the Webaccess documentation, it says:
Although you cannot subscribe to new RSS feeds in WebAccess, you can view the feeds you subscribed to and downloaded in the GroupWise Windows client.
Problem: I can't find any folder/feeds in webaccess folder-tree regarding to the subscribed feeds in my windows-client. Anybody the same problem / any ideas?

    Hi,
I do believe that this is a bug: Bug 719949
I can concur that the Feeds Folder is missing from WebAccess (GroupWise 2012SP2), and, as far as I am aware, Novell are aware of this and working on it.
    Cheers,

  • Where did my RSS news feed go?

After upgrading to Mtn Lion, the RSS news feed in my menu bar is missing.  How can I get it back?

I for one used Safari RSS nearly hourly because I travel international and it is sometimes the only way to stay in touch with things.  Sorry that one of my most used items is missing.  Definitley not happy about now needing to pay $4.99 for 'reeder' or anything when previously it was no cost.  Plus, I'll have to now have another 3rd party Google reader account allowing Google another way into my MBA.  To say nothing that if this comes through Google there are many countries where I travel that limit Google's reach and the reeder if blocked.
If you do use a 3rd party RSS reader where is it going to show up?  Menu bar?  Desktop?
BTW, where to you send comments to Apple about items they cut from 10.8.  In this case it is a problem because many countries block certain news items.   Something that worked with Safari because the link was different than using a specific news reader.

  • Where is the RSS feed reader in FF5?

I added the "Subscribe to this page" icon to the Navigation Bar, but when I subscribe to a page, all I get is a measly drop-down menu for that page in the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Where is the full-page, formatted feed page that Firefox used to have? I did read the one question on this subject, but the answer was of no help.

  • RSS Apex - where create a rss feed?

Ok, I had studied this tutorial -> (http://asktom.oracle.com/sdillon/rss.html) , but I still don't know where on Apex I'll write the command showed on the tutorial. Can someone answer to me or explain to me?
    thanks so much!

    Hi Felipe,
or just create a stored procedure in your schema which you make accessible to mod_plsql. Have a look at http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32469/up_dn_files.htm#CIHDDJGF
It describes the same steps you have to do.
The on-demand process solution is not so got, because it creates a new APEX session each time a RSS reader is refreshing/accessing the feed. With the procedure solution you don't have that problem and the URL probably also looks nicer.

  • Updated to mavericks and now my RSS feeds are gone from Mail. How do I get them back?

    Where are my RSS feeds?

You can't get back your RSS feeds. OS X Mountain Lion removed RSS compatibility from Safari and Mail, so you can't use RSS with these applications.
Now, if you want to use RSS feeds, you need to use an app like NetNewsWire. There are also other applications

  • Where did RSS feeds go after mavericks upgrade.

I have lost all of my RSS feeds that were previously viewing in Mail after upgrading to Mavericks. Trying to view new RSS gives error message that no viewer app available.  I would like to retrieve my previous RSS feeds (wherever they went).  I can't find any RSS preferences in Mail or Safari.

OS X Mountain Lion removed all RSS viewers from Safari and Mail by default, and this hasn't changed in OS X Mavericks. You have to look for a third-party RSS viewer if you want to carry on using it

  • Where did RRS Feeds go and how do I get them back in Mail 6.0?

Just upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion and have seemed to have lost the capability to receive RRS feeds in mail.  Where did RRS Feeds go and how do I get them back in Mail 6.0?

Apple has dropped RSS Feeds from Safari and Mail.
As fas as I know the only way to get them back is a third party app.
I have found Vienna RSS to work even better then the old way with Safari and Mail.

  • In support forum, signed in,where do I link to questions I've asked? Years back, could get RSS feed for question. Still available?

Where can I link to my questions from my account? Searching for username gives no results. Some years back, you could subscribe to an RSS feed for a question, yours or others. Is that gone, if so, why? How do you save the question, without saving the text of your question in a document, and copying and pasting it into search? FF version 19.0.2.
    Thanks.

The My Contributions link only appears if you are looking at a page of questions people have posted. It's a filter that doesn't apply to other pages, so I guess it's bit of a secret.

  • I updated to Mountain Lion and Mail has lost all my RSS feeds. Where are they?

I updated to Mountain Lion and now Mail has lost all my RSS feeds. What happened and where are they?

-------- "Your RSS data is not lost. You can find it in ~/Library/Mail/V2/RSS folder."
it's just as good as lost, if there is no way to load the info in that folder into a new reader.
i followed that path, ~/Library/Mail/V2/RSS, and I have almost 40 rss feeds. that means
there are nearly 40 folders that I would have to go into, one by one, and extract the pertinent
information, and import, one by one, into a new reader.
this is a problem that Apple created. I would have never used the mail.app as a reader
if I knew Apple was going to do this to us. And it makes you wonder what else Apple is
going to do to screw us loyal customers over. (why would they discontinue a feature, knowing
that it would mean lost data and a headache to their customers?)
does anyone have an automated solution to importing these files into a new reader?
