Where did my script go? I still have it in CELTX TG.

I hadn't logged in for a month or two, but I had imported a script from CELTX (another free scrip writing software) and had added a little to it. I got an e-mail about a new release or something and I thought I'd check out adobe story again to see if it had anything cool, like voices.
Anyway my script 60 pages or so is gone. Was there a danger of you deleting stuff for inactivity or I re-set may password did that kill my script? Could it be on one of my other computers, as part of the desktop app. And I hadn't realized that I needed to do something to work off the server?

Could you please use the latest build and check "Sync Issues" folder in Projects view? This is the last folder in the left panel of Projects view and just below of "Delete" folder. Please let us know if you can find your document in this folder.

my message told me that if Iproceeded with the sync, several applications that were not authorized would be deleted. I went ahead and synced anyway. Apparently I had apps installed under a different password and those were the unauthorized ones. Well I couldn't tell if any of my apps were deleted. and some may have but all worked when I did this and the sync happened

Where did the scripts go???

Apple used to provide applescripts that helped add functionality to iPods. The one I am specifically interested allowed you to transfer a webpage ( text only) to your ipods "Notes". I use this function to store information about geocaches. Unfortunately i loaned my mac that has the script to my Mom ( I'm trying to turn her into a switcher). I would love to go do some geocaches today, but I really don't when to print out and bring a bunch of pages with me... anyone know where i can get thiese scripts??

Help!! Where did all possible ringtones go?

Just checked today for songs available for ringtones and from over 100 before, i am now down to 3!! What happened? Where did they all go?

I have this problem, too. In 7.4.1 I had this problem, but when I upgraded to 7.4.2 the ringtone bells showed up again. The next day, the bells have disappeared again.
If you can remember the songs that can be made into ringtones then that will help because iTunes will still let you make them. Otherwise, it becomes trial and error. In the Store menu there is the option to "Create Ringtone..." when you have a song selected, and you can also get the option from the contextual menu that appears when you right-click on a song. Try it on a song and iTunes will then let you know whether you can or can't do it for that song.
I don't know why the bells have disappeared again. It seemed to have been fixed by the 7.4.2 update, but maybe it wasn't or maybe there's now a new problem because the bells are gone again. I hope they figure it out soon. I wonder if it has anything to do with the preference file...

When my math would be correct, I should see 4 switches with each 2 suppervisors: 4 * 2 = 8 ASIC's. But I only see 7 (0 t'm 6)
Where did my ASIC go?
I have to say that one ASIC doesn't have any sfp's inserted, so it's not in use probably, but is this the reason it's not showing up here?

Where did places go ?

Frankly I don't like the new Finder window in Lions. Where did places go ? Instead I have Favorites - Shared and Devices. I used Places a lot in the last version of OS and I truly miss it especially since I did not upgrade all my computers. This is very confusing at times. Any chance a 3rd party could give me back my old finder set-up ?

Chose 'Export to Shared Services' on a calc script....where did it go?

I accidentally right-click and choose 'Export to Shared Services' on a Calc script in EAS.
the help file is not much...I am curious...where did this export to in Shared Services? What is the point of this feature?

Hi,
I think it was Hyperion's original idea to share objects between applications which were known as models, so you could export outlines and calc scripts to shared services and then shared them across applications or to synchronize different applications.
It is something that I have never seen really used and I am sure it was dropped after 9.2, though the option still existed to export in EAS but you couldn't manage models in 9.3
I think it has all be superseeded with concepts like EPMA and LCM.

If you husband has it then everyone has it. It would not be in your Applications folder, but the Applications folder at the top level of the disk.

Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
I recommend that you also make a backup before proceeding. Just quit the installer.

If you take a screenshot (Press the home button and Lock button at the same time), does it appear on the screenshot? Zoom in on the screenshot and see if it's still there.
If not, then your display is failing. I would recommend taking it to an Apple Store if you can, if you can't then to an authorised Apple reseller.
If it does appear on the screenshot when you zoom into the spot, then it's a really weird software issue! You might have to backup and restore the device.

I'm not familiar with the PC end of things, but in a recent post I read about someone using notes.exe to access notes (I'm assuming they knew what they were talking about) - would your installation of icloud app(s) include a notes program? At least do this, log into icloud.com with a computer browser and look in mail. There should be a notes "folder" listed along with the others you may have defined. Are you notes there? If not, that's the problem. Be sure notes is turned on in Settings>icloud on your device. if they are there, then it looks like the PC end is the problem - but I can't provide help concerning that.
