Where did my slide show go

What happened to my slide show?
I guess this question puts me at the level below novice, but that's fine as long as I get an answer.
I created a slide show yesterday, pressed the save key several times during production, then shut down.
Today as I want to open and continue editing the show I don't know how to do that.  I can't find the show.
Would appreciate any help.  Les

Click on the Display button (near top right) and select Folder Location view.
Saved projects are usually shown close to the top.
If using PSE9 scroll down the left-hand folder structure tree to:
Elements Organizer\My Catalog\Projects

  • Where is iPhoto slide show stored

I created a slide show in iPhoto, which plays in iTunes, but I can't find it so I can send it to someone.
iTunes shows it's in Home Videos.
I've done a spotlight search, but nothing shows upl
Does anyone know where it may be stored?

  • Where is "Create Slide Show"

PSE 5 has a file menu item "Create--Slide Show" and "Open Creation."  Where is this in PSE 11?

There is no Open Creation, because creations open in different places depending on the save format and type of creation. You just open the files and they go where adobe wants you to work on them.
Slide show is in the organizer only, and then only in the windows organizer, not on a mac at all.

  • PSE8 for Mac.  Where is the slide show option in the Mac version?

I just watched an Adobe TV video on how to do a slide show in PSE8, but when I go to my CREATE tab, the only slide show option is "PDF Slide Show" and when I click it, it bounces me back to Adobe Bridge and gives me a very limited set of Playback options and then produces a PDF document and not a slide show.  Where is the Create Slide Show in the Mac version of PSE8?

    Hello,
The not-so-satisfactory answer is that, that's all there is: the pdf slideshow file is output from Bridge and plays (in my case) with Adobe Acrobat.   That is, Adobe Reader will also open the pdf and play / progress at whatever time interval is selected with the Bridge pdf maker controls.
I agree: that you have to start by selecting the pdf creation in Pse 8 -which then bounces you to Bridge - is quite unintuitive.    I'm just supposing that, since Bridge is literally the "bridge" to this process, it made sense to follow this logic when creating the Pse / Bridge software.

  • Where did "custom slide size" go in Keynote 6?

I just upgraded to Maverick, and the new Keynote, but can't find the option to change my slide size. Used to be inside the old inspector, under document, custom slide size. Help, where'd it go?

Click the "setup" cog on the upper right.
and, towards the bottom, you'll see "Slide Size".

  • Where did the tv show menu go?

  • Where did the tv shows go? (for purchase)

First of all, I am very irritated by the rigamarole I have to go through in places like this to try to find someone who can answer my questions. A person should be able to go to the site, click on support, and send a ticket.
That being said, I have been enjoying iTunes a lot lately because, since I don't hardly watch TV and don't have cable except for my high-speed internet, there are a few shows that I like that I've been able to download from iTunes, episodes which I can watch at my convenience, commercial-free, for $1.99 each.
However, I can no longer find tv episodes when I input my search queries... What is going on??

    Questalot,
As I understand it when you open the iTunes Store, you are getting the wrong language on the page.
Could you click on your username in the upper right hand corner, and logout, and then log back in?
Once you have logged back in, if it isn't corrected, go down to the bottom of the iTunes Store page, and there is a drop down for which countries store you are viewing for your account.
    Thank you,
    Nathan C.

  • Where are my slide show music settings

I recently upgraded to iPhoto 6.0.3. When I try to make a slideshow I click the Music button and check my song selection from my iTunes library. The song I had selected for the album is not longer selected. I've lost all my song selections I had saved for each of my albums. Is there any way to get these back?

I'm not sure. The only thing I can think of is to use iPhoto Library Manager to rebuild the library. It creates a new library and uses the info from the original library's data files for it's info. It might just pickup on the music assignments and assign them correctly. If you don't like the resulting library you can trash it and go back to the current one. Here's how:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
Note: It can take some time to create the new library if you have a lot of photos. One user reported that with a library of about 5,000 images it took about 12 hours so plan ahead.

  • Burning a Slide Show

I did a slide show of a childrens' book with narration and music backing that I dropped in as mp3 files. Preview and everything went fine. I went to output and followed the instructions for burn to media and got a message that said Adobe had to, well..basically crash. I used a CDR as blank media, both data and music. Do I need a blank DVD-R in order to use the option where I can view or show it on a TV set w/DVD player? Also, I tried as an option to save as a PDF(it's the first option they show in the output window). That went haywire, played only the first slide with sound, took forever to go to next slide, no sound, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks very much in advance for your help!

What do you want to do with the slideshow?  Play it on a TV set?  If so then you have to use the Share ➙ iDVD menu option to create a video DVD with iDVD.
Once you have the project as you want it in iDVD save it as a disk image via the  File ➙ Save as Disk Image  menu option.  This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it.  If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality.  Always use top quality media:  Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If you only want to create a Quicktime movie file of your slideshow and burn that to disk the use the Export button at the bottom of the slideshow window
and select the size you want for the slideshow in the following window:
Finally export to the Desktop and burn to a disk from the Finder.

  • Newbie Here - How to Create a Slide Show in CS5?

I am using Windows 7 and I am familiar with PSElements 8 where creating a slide show is easy.  I just want to create a slide show in CS5 (in Bridge??  View>Slideshow Options?) using vacation photos from several folders, and I want to order them manually.
First, I can't figure out how to display more than one folder in the Content panel in Bridge.  Second, I can't figure out how to create and intersperse "blank" slides with text.   Third (and I haven't even gotten this far yet), how do I save the slide show and burn a VCD?  This was all so easy and intuitive in PSE8, I can't believe it seems nearly impossible in CS5!
As an alternative, should I simply re-save the photos as JPEGs (they are PSDs now), export them to a Desktop folder, open them in PSE8 and create the slide show there instead?   Thanks for any help and suggestions!

    1) Bridge has a new feature (can't think of the term at the moment) but it works like instancing or virtual copies. Select all of the photo's that you want and place them in the "collection" (Ah I knew I would think of it) Move to another folder and move them into the same collection and so on. These are virtual copies in that they don't really exist, but are a link to the original images. You then can use the collection for the slide show.
    2) Just create a page same size as your photo's in photoshop with what ever color background and put your text on it.
3A)The slide show can be exported as a pdf or swf. Windows can then copy the file to a cd. If you choose swf, you may need to alter the html file (I assume it generates one, if not it isn't har to create one) The html file would help the web browser determine the correct size to display at. If you have flash, it can be used to create a html file as well.
3B)If you would like the slide show to be displayed on a tv screen, then your cd/dvd will need to use a format that your dvd player can play, mp2 is the standard, but some can display jpg's, some are blue ray, etc. For exporting into the correct video format, then one of the following can be used. After Effects, Premeire pro, Encore, Photoshop (If you have quicktime installed and you are using one of the formats that quicktime supports like mp4)
If you have quicktime installed, paying the 20 bucks may be worth it as it will allow you to take your jpg images and generate an animation file as avi or mov. But can save as mp4 as well.
    4) In Bridge you can select all of the images and run image processor on them. This plug in is part of photoshop there fore it will be in the menu's under photoshop. It will let you specify the files size, format and any actions, etc. It will then place them all into a folder that you specify.

  • My Exported Slide Shows look bleary

I am making music videos with Iphoto, I expert them to Quicktime format to put up on the web, but the images look bleary.
In particularly I made jpg slides with Keynote - images with text comments, saved to jpg format, through the files in to IPhoto, did a slide show and exported to Quicktime format.
I put them up on the web, the music sounds fine, but the images are so bleary it is hard to read the text of the keynote slides/jpg.
Anyone have suggestions how to make clearer slides, make a slideshow with good music and good video images?
    Thanks,
    JE

I fully agree and have the same problem. My .mac iWeb Site has several albums. On a PC (even with Safari) the slideshows are now useless because the images are tiny. Upgrading to iWeb 2 somehow shrunk down the slideshow. When I click on the individual pictures, they open up fine in the new iWeb 2 mode and I can even hit the download button fine to copy an image to my drive. However, hitting the slideshow button brings up tiny images! The slideshow is now all but useless for Windows users.
Hope someone can help out with this problem!
    Thanks Klaus

  • Where is the frame rate setting control when making a slide show?

I am trying to make a slide show using QuickTime Pro and cannot find the frame rate control.I put all my consectively-numbered jpegs in one folder. I then clicked on "File," the "Open Image Sequence," then a window opened up and I click on the first jpeg in the series of photos I want in my slide show. Then the first image appears in the QT Window. The instructions next say that I should be able to change the rate at which each slide/jpeg appears, but it doesn't tell you where to find the "frame rate" so I can change it. It doesn't appear at all on its own, so where is it? Anything else I'm missing? Thank you.

What version of Photoshop Elements and or Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system?
In addition, could you please clarify?
It sounds like you are creating your slideshow in the Elements Organizer. Where are you seeing these distortions and blurs, in the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor Filmstrip or in the Premiere Elements workspace after you have transferred the slideshow from the Elements Organizer 9 Slideshow Editor to Premiere Elements workspace?
What are the pixel dimensions of the photos in this slideshow and how many of these photos are in the slideshow? What format are they in..jpg, psd, other?
With regard to what you wrote:
Also how do I transport them from Elements to Premier, it has a tab to do that but when I get to the elements file I don't know where to drag and drop into.
If you are in the Elements Organizer Slideshow Editor and use the Output option Edit with Premiere Elements, then you would expect the automatic transfer of the slideshow to Premiere Elements, with a copy in video format (.psess) in the project media as well as on the Timeline. Nothing for you to drag and drop.
For all those reasons, I am asking for clarification.
    Thanks.

  • Where did my messages go? (Only "showing" 50 messages).

I have had my iPhone 3G set to show 50 Recent Messages (e-mail). I have had about 20 messages in my InBox, but then had more than 30 new messages this morning. Some of the older messages in my InBox have disappeared. I checked in the Trash, but they are not there. I changed the settings to show 200 Recent Messages, but the old messages are still missing. Where did they go, and is there a way to get them back?
    Thanks,
    Guy

At the bottom of the list of messages there should be a "Load more messages" place to tap. Is it not there?

  • When playing a slide show there are many nonvisible photos.  They appear as "image cannot be edited. The original is offline."  Where is it and how can I get it back into my photo library?

How can I get all my images to show in my photo library?  When playing a slide show some of my photos have a message "Image Cannot Be Edited.  The original is offline."

    What version of iPhoto?
Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.
