Where did the private browsing button go in my safari settings?

I have private browsing turned on in safari, but I set it that way before I updated to ios7. Now I am trying to go to AT&T's website and it says I need to turn off private browsing and to go to settings then to safari and turn private browsing off. So I did what it said, just like I've always done and I do not see anywhere to turn private browsing on and off. I now have ios7 and I have the iPhone 4. Maybe I am just missing something, but if you have any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

It is actually in teh app itself now, not in Settings. Tap the icon in the lower right (looks like to pages on top of one another). Tap Private. (This turns in or off). A dark grey toolbar in Safari indicated PB is On.

Tap on the Pages icon at the bottom right (two squares). There you have the Private button.

I am stuck in private browser mode and there is no button to shut it off.

I have a problem with the private browsing option. In my firefox settings it says I'm in private browsing mode, but firefox still remembers all of my history.

In the options menu, I changed my settings to never remember history, but firefox still records all of it in the history tab. I repeated this, setting it back and forth between remember and don't remember and it still always recorded it.

Where did the live chat button go?

I wanted to get someoen on the live chat option to check my xbox one pre-order like i did last week and now that button is gone.... my order says payment validated but the status says not available.

Where did the iPod shortcut button go when you double click the home button and scroll to the left?

After upgrading to iOS 4.3.2 I have noticed that when I double click the home button the multitasking tray pops up when you scroll to the left the ipod shortcut is no longer there, it has been replaced by a safari shortcut. Is this right??

The private browsing option is gone from the tools menu, the one in the file menu dosn't work the same.

Firefox updated itself this morning to 20. The option to start private browsing in the tools menu is gone. The one in the file menu is not the same, it works differently. I would really like to no how to re enable this feature. I always have a lot of tabs up. When I feel so inclined I would hit the private browse button then close. When I would reopen all my tabs would be there. this is but one example of how I used private browsing. If you could help me with this problem I would be very happy. Hello, when you start the new private browsing, starts in a new Private Window, and you first window it is exist also.
If you close the private browsing window, your first window exist, but if you close the browser you must set it to '''Show my windows and tabs from last time''' (in Options > General panel > start up) :, [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/startup-home-page-download-settings#w_startup Startup] to see again your tabs and windows when you start firefox.

A 3 y/o turned on my private browser and I cannot turn it off. iPad says go to settings/safari/private browser button, there is no browser button there on either my iPad or my phone. Anyone know where I can locate it?

If you are running iOS 7, tap on the blue + sign in the upper right part of the Safari toolbar to open a new tab. Look in the lower left part of the screen for the word "Private". Tap on that to disable private browsing.

ITunes9: where did the 3-column browser go ?!

Just installed the new iTunes 9, and I am shocked: where did the 3-column browser go? Did they really remove it, and replaced it with only the one Artists column on the left side? This cannot be serious, surely you would not remove one of the most innovative user interface of the past years?
How do I select quickly the music genres I want to listen to? (and no, Play Lists is not the answer!). I used to do a quick shift-click or command-click, depending on my mood, and click play. Very fast and very convenient.
Since when are we removing features from a software when upgrading it?...

Gabhan, I second your frustration. Locally set "on top" selections (on my laptop) are preserved, but "on top" settings for remote collections (e.g., my desktop) never are. For those of us who prefer the "on top" column browser, iTunes 9 is suddenly a LOT more "fiddly" than earlier versions.
To significantly alter existing behavior, change application-wide defaults, and not give the user the ability to override that default, sure feels like a bug. I think "this is buggy software" every single time I have to manually set that value.

The iTunes app cannot disappear ... it may be on a different screen.
Regardless, you can force it to your home screen by doing:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

Adobe removed the forms message bar, which is where the field highlighting toggle button was. It turns out that the following user preference works as a toggle as well despite the confusing description:
Edit > Preferences > Forms > Highlight Color > Show border hover color for fields
You can also toggle it with the following JavaScript:
app.runtimeHighlight = !app.runtimeHighlight;
You can add this to a custom menu item or toolbar button to provide an easier means to toggle it.
