I updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 5.1 last Friday. I noticed the next day that the pictures that I had taken with only this phone were gone from my photos. I still have over 1600 pictures on my phone that are there, only the ones taken from this device are missing. Where did they go when I syned my phone? I can't find them in my iTunes.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly, particularly before any update, restore, etc.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, tehn they are very likely gone.
You can try restoring from backup. -

Where do you go when you've gone too far?
All,
I've posted question to this forum about a situation I have had with an external firewire drive and iTunes store ("Misleading error -34 on TV show downloads"). So far there have been nearly 30 hits on viewing it, but no one has been able to offer any suggestions. I have also posted several emails to iTunes technical support, and the responses have only been to point to articles that have not been able to provide anything new for me to try. It's now been over 48 hours since the last receipt from technical support on an email I sent to them. I am not trying to flame anyone, and have tried to stay respectful in my posts, but my feeling is they may not have anything left to offer me.
I fully understand that I am probably operating in a non-standard setup, but it does seem to work except for this one incorrect error iTunes store returns when I purchase something. The 800 support number I have been pointed to says its the Apple Care line, which doesn't seem appropriate to my situation, but it's the only avenue I have not tried. Is that the next step, or are there any suggestions on next steps? (And yes, I have googled this problem several times.

Where did Complete Led Zeppelin go?
Hey, I was going to ask for some iTunes cards for Christmas so I could buy this, but I just looked for it and it's gone! Where did it go? Is it gone for good or is it just an error?
If it's gone, why was it up for such a short time?I had purchase the complete Led Zeppelin on the day it was released. I had noticed that there was many many tracks where there was popping and clicking at the end of the tracks and on some of the albums, the gapless playback refused to work. I ended up getting a complete refund. They told me they would submit it for investigation and it looks like they pulled it for now till they can get the problems fixed.

When I deleted and then recreated the same account all the emails are now gone. Where did they go?
I was having problems with getting mail from my verizon email account. Suddenly stopped working when checking mail. Sending was fine. No server settings were changed. So as a last try before the nightmare of finally giving up on them I deleted the account and then set it up again. I now get the emails but all the old ones are gone. Where did they go?
I've read all the posts about the verizon smtp ssl issues but this (the missing emails that were alreadiny in thunderbird) seems to be a TB question.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

When writing a new message my blinking cursor is gone from the body of the message, where did it go?
When i want to write a new message in Thunderbird, my blinking cursor is there in the subject line and in the email address line but not in the body of the message where i want to Type my message. Where did it go and How do i turn it back on?
try restarting with add-ons disabled from the help menu (Alt+H) does the cursor reappear?

Where did my wedding photos go? Vanished when I split even - HELP!
I split an event in order to have enough room to burn photos on a CD ....when I went back to the split event of the photos I did not copy, the photo's were gone! The thumbnails were missing and the photos were missing. I see a gray square were the thumbnails should be and when I enlarge I see a black and white !.
I rebuilt the photo library several times and also rebuilt it through iphoto library manager....the photo's still have not appeared.
Where did they go?How did you split the Event? Did you do it using iPhoto for from the Finder? If the latter then that's why you're getting the "!", a sign that iPhoto has lost the file path to the original files.
You may have to result to the following:
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Open the library package like this.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library if you have the Finder checkbox unchecked in the Events preference pane.
Then with some manipulating you might be able to get the original library back.
1 - open the original library and delete all of the "problem" photos by dragging them to iPhoto's trash and emptying it. Keep it to batches of 100 or less.
2 - open the new library, locate the "missing" photos and export to folders on the Desktop.
3 - open the original library and import the folders with the "missing" photos. '
Hopefully this will keep your organization for the library, keywords, etc. and recover those missing photos. -

Just installed upgrade to Firefox 4.0. Where did the "Stop" button go on the Navigation Bar. I checked the Customize dialogue box and it isn't included. Is anyone else missing it? Is there anyway to install the "Stop" button for loading web pages or is this option completely gone from Firefox now? It was a very helpful button and allowed us users to stop a web page and move on if it wasn't what we needed.
In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. Where did the iPhone Calendar list function(s) go with iOS7? The Calendar has gone all 'spread sheet' on me. If you select an item (grey dot) from the month display it will open up the 'spread sheet' at the current time of day, not necessarily when the calendar entry takes place. I liked iOS6 where you could turn your iPhone to landscape mode and get that special 'spread sheet' feel if that's what you're into. Has a 'List' presentation been removed from the iPhone Calendar with iOS7?
The List view is displayed by tapping the Search magnifying glass.

When I open iPhoto it asks me to choose a photo library. I already have a libary with photos and events in it that I've been using for 2 years. Where did it go? What happened to all my photos
We have no way of knowing what goes on on your machine. All we can tell is that your iPhoto library is missing and iPhoto can't find it. If you can't find then I the only thing you can do is restore from your Back Up.

I rented a movie on my iPad. It began to download but then it disappeared. I freed up a ton of storage space to make sure I had the room for it. The movie appears in my rented videos, but when I click it, it says, "video rented but not downloaded. Go to downloads to manage downloads". Where did my downloads go? I re-booted my iPad, signed off/on iTunes etc. I can't find a folder with downloadable items anywhere. ITunes just tells me, "you've already rented this video. Do you want to rent it again?" What happened to my movie?

When I upgraded my iPhone 4s to IOS7, I lost all my app icons. Where did they go? Interestingly they are still listed in notifications and I could play words with friends when I got a message on the home screen that it was my turn (but still no icon)
