Where do I change the time zone for voicemail messages?
My voicemail messages are on Pacific time but I now live on the east coast. The phone settings were set at auto and the phone time is correct but the voicemail still time stamps the recorded messages on Pacific time. Any ideas on how to change the voicemail time to East coast?
Although I use a free VVM app on my device, when I used to sign into VM my time would be an hour off because my number is based in one time zone but I live one time zone ahead. The MTN (mobile telephone number) is connected to the VM platform, therein your problem. So try to do the math when you get a VM, or use a VVM app on your phone (if you have a smartphone or iPhone).

How can I change the time zone for a calendar entry with iOS 7?
I want to make a new entry in my calendar (iOS 7) using a different time zone as the one I'm located in. There isn't any option to choose the time zone like there is in OS X.
I know I can switch off the option to automatically change the time zone in the preference pane of Mail, Contacts and Calendar to get the option in calendar but I want to use this automatic switch.
Is there any option to change the time zone of a calendar entry without loosing this automatic switch?Got it!
In your backing file you'll need the following in your handlePostbackData method:
BookBackingContext bookCtx = BookBackingContext.getBookBackingContext(arg0);
bookCtx.setupPageChangeEvent("PageLabel"); -
How do you change the time zone for all events?
I didn't have the correct setting checked for my time zone. It appears that I now have to go back and correct each event. Is that true? It would be impossible since I have over 1,000 events in my calendar.
Any suggestions? Thanks - KrisGo to SETTINGS on your iPod Nano 6G.
From SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> DATE & TIME -> TIME ZONE and select the right zone/location form there.

How do I stop iCal from ever changing the time zones of my appointments?
I cannot figure out time zone support in iCal, and just want it never to move the time of an appointment when I change time zones. I have tried switching time zone support on and off, and it makes no difference, the appointment times change when the time zone changes. It's infuriating! How do I make it stop?
Thanks!Whitecity,
According to iCal Help...Changing the time zone for an event: Choose iCal > Preferences, click Advanced, and select the "Turn on time zone support" checkbox...To change the event's time zone, choose a time zone from the pop-up menu in the Info drawer. To make the event appear at the same time no matter what time zone the main calendar view is in, choose Floating..;~) -
When I change the time zone of the clock, the "Date created" time information for my documents and image files in the Finder window (and in Get Info) is changed. Can I make the time info in "Date created" remain fixed regardless of the clock's timezone?

I have a 4s iPhone on IOS 6.0.1 with an Israeli Cellular provider.
I use Gmail services an exchange to sync my colander contacts and mail.
When the time zone support is set to ON in the Settings->mail, Contacts, Calendars->Time Zone Support
The time zone is showing Jerusalem (I am located in Tel-Aviv)
When I create a new Appointment, It Immediately changes the time zone of the appointment to Gaza.
Even if I change it back to Jerusalem it changes back to Gaza every time.
Only when the time zone support is set to OFF in the Settings->mail, Contacts, Calendars->Time Zone Support
The time zone in Gmail is ok and does not appear on the iPhone. (This is ok)
Dose any one know how do I make the iPhone not change the time zone to Gaza? And still keep the time zone support on?
TNXthey are not always on the same time due to daytime saving time changes twice a year in Israel which are not syncronized with any changes in Gaza, Beirut, etc.

Change the time zone in Java System only
Hi there,
Does anyone knows where to change the time zone in Java system only? I know in ABAP they have t-code: STZAC? where do I change in Java? Configtool or visual admin? what is the service name or parameter for this?
Thanks
Kumarhi Kumar,
You can change the timezone of the JVMs using the -Duser.timezone
parameter, add -Duser.timezone=<timezone> to all dispatcher and
server processes in your systems, using the configtool
1) open config tool
2) select yes
3) select "cluster-data->instanceXXX->serverXXX/Dispatcher"
4) in "Java parameters" add new line "-Duser.timezone=<timezone>"
5) click "Apply changes"
6) restart your instance
Let me know how is the result

Need the SQL Query to check SQL time zone and change the time zone
Hi All,
I am using SQL Server 2008 SP2. My Ex SQL Admin said that the data which we query from our database gives the output in London time.
But the SQL server is located in USA and is having US time.
I would like to know how to find what time zone is the SQL application running on and how to change it ?
Is there any query which i can use to determine and change the time zone ?

How can I change the time zone while not changing the time
Let me preface this by saying I know this may seem tiddling to many but it is somthing I am rather obsessive about.
I took many photos while I was in Los Angeles. I had changed my camera's clock and the clock in the MacBook Pro to Pacific Standard Time and my iPhone automatically did the same thing. When I loaded photos into Aperture on my MacBook Pro the time information was all correct, all photos tagged in PST. I had some photos I took on my last day that I did not load into Aperture until I got home to Denver. When I loaded these images into Aperture they still have the correct time that they were shot but now show as being taken on Mountain Standard Time. If I change the time zone in Aperture then the image time is also adjusted to be one hour earlier.
Is there any way I can change the time zone in Aperture while leaving the actual image time alone?Hello Mark,
Aperture will display the "Date created" with respect to the time zone your system is set to, but the "Date" using the time zone the image was taken in.
You can adjustthe Time Zone for individual images either on import or afterwards using batch change:
Select the images you want to adjust, then select "Metadata -> Batch Change" from the Aperture Application menu:
Click: Adjust Time Zone
Set the Camera's Time Zone to the Time zone you set your camera to when you took the images, and the Actual Time Zone to the zone you want Aperture to use to display the date.
Regards
Léonie
P.S:
This works with most cameras, but there seems to be a bug with canon cameras when importing directly from the camera. Frank Caggiano recently started a thread, but right now I cannot find the link. -

Where can I change the font settings for the name of the month in iPhoto's calendar project?
where can I change the font settings for the name of the month in iPhoto's calendar project? I just ordered two copies of a calendar I designed in iPhoto and was surprised to find that the calendar's months were printing in something like an Arial 10 pt font. On previous calendars I've printer via iPhoto and Apple, the font was much larger. I've tried every menu option in iPhoto and the Calendar Project program and can't find where this is modifyable. Which leads me to ask, what the heck happened here in the first place? I did not consciously change the default.
I do remember that I got some notice when I first tried to print the calendar about the default font having been changed, but I don't know how this could have happened, and I didn't know what impact that had on the calendar until it was delivered. I typically print about a dozen annual calendars but won't buy another until I've got a handle on this problem. For the most part, the rest of the calendar is okay.
As a P.S. is there anywhere where one can get a power user's manual, or instruction on iPhoto?
Message was edited by: KPAausFrankfort"Maximum" and "12" usually refer to compression (influencing image quality and jpeg file size in bytes); and as Curt wrote, dpi is meaningless for display by and viewing in web browsers. (It could be a different matter if you are uploading the jpeg files for someone to download from the web to print.)
What are the sequence of steps that you and your batch processing take from Bridge?
You can use call Photoshop's Image Processor from Bridge to create the jpeg files (Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor). In the Image Processor you can set jpeg compression, pixel dimensions if desired, also convert to sRGB (good idea for web display). In my experience the image processor leaves unchanged whatever dpi is set in the source file; or, if none there as might be for a pdf, it will set the dpi value in your New Document Preset Print Resolution (from your Photoshop Units & Rulers preferences). -

EIM 4.3.1 - Where do you change the default timezone for reports?
I have noticed when running reports that the default time zone always seems to be -5 Indiana (East). I have changed the business calendars under the departments but it does not seem to make any difference to the reports. Is there some where else this needs to be changed or is this some sort of bug?
Thanks,
MattMatt the timezone is coming from the pc where you invoke the report, a saved report can be scheduled to run
using a specific time zone, at run time or whilst creating a report your locale will be used to populate the time zone.
Calendars do not drive report time zone and drives workflows and chat entry points. Time zone for logs and other calculation is based on the server time zone. -
Change the Time Zone???
Hi,
I need to change the System Time Zone to all the users in the XI environment but I don't remember how is the process...
Someone can explain me how is it?
Thanks!Hi Hetal,
Thanks for ur fast response but the problem is not the Time Zone in the server (UNIX), is in the application. I remember that I need to go to IMG --> General Settings --> Time Zones but I don't know if I need to do something more to assign the TZ to all the users in the system.

Why won't the messages and facetime app work?
I refuse to believe that the only fix for this is to do all the behind the scenes stuff to change out certain aspects of apps. I would think that because messages and facetime come built into 10.8.2. I believe that it is on apple's shoulders to fix
