Where do I download sql server express? I'm getting send to a evaluation-page and nowhere to click on download. Can someone pls just give me a link to it?

I couldn't find the version.xml file on windows but it appears that my AE doesn't support firmware 7.5.2, I can't see why because it is the same version as the replacement unit I am using. Either way way, it seems that I cannot go back to v7.5.2 and since reloading v7.6.1 I still have no audio output so I'll have to assume a hardware fault grrrrr!!

I want to download from microsoft site the SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition software in order to install it to my servers but as i searched in microsoft's site, i can't find
Stanard edition for downloading. I only find Express and Evaluation.

URGENT---download sql database

Can some one please tell me a decent site from where I can download sql database ?? All this while I have been trying to download "Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise " ....Is that correct..and when I do so...I get nothing in my My Programs except for --> SQL Server Configuration Manager and SQL Server Surface Area Configuration ....Also I downloaded MySQL --which is showing just MySQL commandline utility...
Where is that database configuration and the Query Analyzer and the Enterprise??????

You can't download PL/SQL as a seperate product. It is inside the database engine.

hello f.ahmed, in regards to the suggestion as how to import the oracle.sql package. I found the zip file and put the path to that zip file into my classpath. I even tried to unzip it. I still get compiliation errors in JSP telling me that they cannot find the oracle.sql.* package. Can you please tell me what i am doing wrong? Thanks for your time

From the Microsoft codeplex, I have downloaded the AdventureWorks2012_Data.mdf file and saved it in my C:\Temp folder. I executed the following .sql code:
CREATE DATABASE AdventureWorks
ON (FILENAME = 'C:\Temp\AdventureWorks2012_Data.mdf')
For ATTACH;
GO
I got the following message:
File activation failure. The physical file name "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\AdventureWorks2012_Log.ldf" may be incorrect.
New log file 'C:\Temp\AdventureWorks2012_Data_log.ldf' was created.
Converting database 'AdventureWorks' from version 705 to the current version 706.
Database 'AdventureWorks' running the upgrade step from version 705 to version 706.
I think that I do not have the AdvendtureWorks2012_Log.ldf file in my C:\ drive that caused the problem in my trial to attach the AdventureWoks2012 to the Databases of SQLEXPRESS of my SQL Server 2012 Management Studio. Where can I download the AdventureWorks2012_Log.ldf
file? Please kindly help, advise and respond.

What is the most current version of the SQL-Net Client software drivers that we should be using on our Windows Clients to hit our 8.1.6.3 server? Currently we are using 8.1.6.0.0 (per tnsping). According to the certification matrix, looks like 8.1.6.3.8, (right?)

I think you might be running into the issue that:
1) The Yoga 2 Pro does not have a DVD player built-in, and therefore they don't include DVD playback software
2) Windows 8 (or 8.1) no longer includes the codecs to play DVDs and such. You have to upgrade to the Professional edition of it. (silly, yes).
I would personally just grab VLC Player from videolan.org, and use that. Works perfectly fine, and it's free.
(Did the external USB DVD not come w/ software? That's actually strange).

How to download SQL Server 2012 Standard Trial Version?

I would like to try Standard Edition of SQL Server 2012. Where I can download it?
I followed this link www.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/get-sql-server/try-it.aspx and downloaded and installed. But when I check in SQL Server Management Studio (Mangement Studio->Server->Properties->Generals->Product), it shows "Microsoft
SQL Server Enterprise Evaluation (64-bit)".
As I don't need Enterprise Edition for my project, I would like to test with Standard Edition for few days before purchasing.
Please advise.

There is no edition specific to evaluation edition.Its same as enterprise but you can use it maximum for 6 months and you cnanot use it in production.Use below link for Eval edtn

Now there is no standard evaluation edition.If you want to specifically test on Stand. edition you need to buy a license copy.But i guess you want to test some non enterprise features so you need to by stand for it.
Can you tell me what you want to test specifically I will tell you whether stand or ent will make any differnce or not

Where can I download Database_Template_for_EM12_1_0_4_Linux_x64 for DB-Release12.1.0.2 ?

I found a database template for the repository DB, but it is for DB-release 11.2.0.3
Can anybody tell me, where I can download a template for a 12c database?

I figured out that the template is not required. The DB schema is created by EM installation.

Certification for 12.1.x as the EM repository has been temporarily suspended. I would suggest 11.2.0.3 or 11.2.0.4. There is only a template for 11.2.0.3, but you can open the sql files provided for that and update the parameters that reference 11.2.0.3 to use against an 11.2.0.4 db...

when using a vendor's JDBC drivers, you must go to the vendor to get them. For Microsoft here is a good place to start: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/
These JDBC files should also be included with you SQL Server CDs...

I have joined a company which has a legacy 10.2.0.4 RAC on windows. They did not have anyone to manage and now i am in.
I recommended them to upgrade to the certified version, but they do not want it as it will be decommissioned.
Now we have to connect to sql server from this database. I want to install gateway for that but i cannot find it for download.
Please let me know from where can i download.
And also i saw some discussions, where in it says it is possible to do this with out gateway?

Which is exactly what we opted for at my shop. Since the gateway is a system-wide resource, used to connect ANY of our oracle databases to ANY of our MSSQL databases, no one server made any more sense than any other. I wanted to have to manage only a single gateway and not have to worry about which gateway was on which machine to service which databases.
