Where do I enter the Activation Key

Just picked up iWork with an online purchase. I cannot get the thing to ask for an Activation Key. The AK was eMailed to me. But all it asks for is a serial #. The thing always rejects my Activation Key, and tells me to enter a correct serial #.
anyone have an idea?

HI,            The Pre-Installed Microsoft office installed in the unit is a Trial Version. If you have paid for the full version only then it will be pre-installed otherwise you have to purchase the full version.

  • Site lost activation out of nowhere - How do I find and enter the activation key through VPN?

I had a message that site comms went down.  My clients sent somebody on-site and all is working but the OnPlus agent still shows comms down.  I VPN'd in and can get to the web page for the unit but it's asking me to activate it.  Is there a way to find the activation key to enter into that field so that my settings, etc. are kept?
Also, has this happened to anybody else before and what could be the cause?  Thanks!

    Hi Lokib,
Sounds like the On100 has been reset. Did someone inadvertently hold down "Reset" on the device?
The Activation key is located under "Profile>Profile".
I haven't seen this happen to anyone else myself. Could you PM me the site name and I'll see if we can dig up anything else in the logs.
    Thanks,

  • Hi! I have just downloaded the upgrade for LR6 (10 minutes ago) and after installation I am asked to enter the activation key but I don't have it as I have not received it by mail. What must I do? Thanks in advance for your answers. Stardiben

    Thanks in advance!

you have the purchased (not subscription) version of lr 6 (as an upgrade to lr5).
if all that is correct, then when you start your lr 6 installation you will be prompted for the lr 6 serial number.  if lr 5 is not installed you will then be prompted for your lr 5 serial number.
if you enter the correct number at the correct time, installation should proceed.

is it possible to activate LR5 on a second (privately owned) computer and where do I have to enter the license key?

Lightroom doesn't use activation. The EULA allows you to install Lightroom on two computers, one a desktop the other a laptop. To apply the serial number you go to the Help menu then choose Lightroom Registration.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.

  • Where can I find a link to buy the activation key?

My laptop dies and I replaced it.  I need Acrobat for my work.  So I downloaded the trial version.  It works just fine.  The trial expired and I want to purchase the activation key.  I cannot find a link anywhere on the Adobe website.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

This seems to be comically difficult. Here are some instructions which someone worked out somehow...!
Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/pricing.html and add a
subscription to your shopping cart by clicking on the "Subscribe" button.
It does not matter which version you add, we will remove it in a second
again. This will bring up your shopping cart. Now remove the subscription
by clicking on the "Remove" button. On the next page click on the "Continue
Shopping" button. Now click on the "Buy" button associated e.g. with Adobe
Acrobat XI Pro. Now you can change the "I want to buy" setting to the
    "Full" license.

  • Where can I find my activation key?

    Hello,
I am ready to completely reinstall Mac OS 10.9 on my macbook pro in order to clean it up.
I bought Aperture a long time ago, in a shop (not the online store), and I do not have its box (in which there is the activation key) with me.
Do you know, before reinstalling Mac OS, where I can find my activation key in the software or in the system. I would copy it on a paper and everything would be solved.
When I will reinstall Aperture, will it ask the key, or is it someway linked to my apple account, even though I did not initially bought it on the Apple Store?
    Many Thanks,
    Nicolas

Which Aperture version are you currently running, Nicolas?
If it is not an AppStore version, you need the installer DVD to reinstall. The earlier Aperture versions are best installed and not migrated.
    As to the registration key:
Earlier Aperture versions up to version Aperture 3.4.5 will show the registration key in the "About" panel - in the main menu bar: Aperture > About Aperture.
(added: It will only show the last registration key. If you have an upgrade key, you will need the keys of the previous versions as well).
If you already updated to Aperture 3.5.1, you do not need your Aperture serial number any longer. Aperture will have been associated with your Apple ID and it will show on the "Purchases" tab of the App Store, when you sign into the Store menu with the Apple ID, that you used, when you updated Aperture. Check the App Store and the Purchases, before you wipe your drive.   I strongly recommend to update to Aperture 3.5.1 and to associate Aperture with your AppleID, if you have not yet done that.  Then you should be able to reinstall from the AppleStore.  But keep a backup copy of Aperture 3.5.1 just in case, since the current version at the AppStore is Aperture 3.6, that will require Yosemite.

  • Where can I enter a "Web Key"

I need to enter a "Web Key" in order to connect wirelessly to the internet. I have already turned on Airport, and connected successfully to the ISP's server, but I can't connect to the internet without entering the web key that is on the back of their wireless modem. I don't know where to enter this number.

Are you sure that's a Web key and not a WEP key?
A WEP key is used to encrypt your wireless connection to provide a degree of security. However, you do say that your wireless connection is working, so that may not be the case.
If you're talking to your ISP's servers, but can't get past that, then it's clearly something particular to that ISP. Seems like the ISP's support department would be the best course of action.

  • Non-Cisco guy here needs to install the activation key for AnyConnect

    Hi,
I downloaded the key(s) and there seems to be an "Authorization Key" and below the list of services the key provides
the serial number of my 5510 and then 5 groups of numbers. I assume the 5 "goups" of numbers is the activation-key.
I tried using putty at the console and typed:
    >conf t
conf>activation-key -->and then the series of numbers. I assumed I had to put a 0x in front of them all but itkind of flakes out as i
put i the last number and overwrites a little. What's going on?
Also we have the ASDM, if I can use that it would be simpler. How would I do that?
    HELP!
    --ar

Activation key is one of those odd commands you enter from enable mode, not from config mode. If you're in enable mode (# prompt), just type "activation key ___" (without quotes, just using your key in place of the ___). Reference.
In ASDM you can enter it via Choose Configuration > Device Management, and then choose the Licensing > Activation Key or Licensing Activation Key pane, depending on your model. Reference.
