Where do I find a 32-bit version of FF for XP?

When I try to download Firefox 6, it tells me that setup exe etc is not a valid win32 (?application).
I can't find anywhere to select a 32-bit version of firefox; it just keeps sending the 64-bit automatically.
Assuming that I'm right about the nature of the problem.

Mozilla hasn't yet released a 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows, they're all 32-bit.
Namoroka is a pre-release version used for testing new features and security fixes, and was available in 32-bit and 64-bit variants for all OS's. Currently only the Nightly version is available in a 64-bit versions for Windows - currently Nightly 10.a1.
You can get the latest release version here. For Windows it is a 32-bit application. <br />

  • Can you email a link to me, where I can download the 64-bit version of firefox for my windows 7 64 bit laptop?

    hello
I have windows 7 home premium 64-bit operating system.
i would like to download and install firefox 64-bit version.
can you email me a link where I can download the 64 bit firefox?

Link to 64 bit of Nightly http://nightly.mozilla.org/
edit: Fixed linked it was linking to the tinderbox hourly builds (multiple builds a day) which can be much more unstable if the build did not build properly (due to checkins and trying stuff) and yet may still be green and uploaded. Use the /firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ not tinderbox if you must.
Also note the unstable Nightly builds get updates each day (sometimes a respin even) and are not meant for regular Firefox users in mind but devs and testers who at very least understand the basics of separate installs and separate Profiles for each.

  • Where can I find stable 64 bit versions of Firefox to download?

The only link I could find for 64 bit was nightly but I don't want that. There is no 64 bit installer on the official page, no 64 bit under betas, and the FTP doesn't even contain any under firefox/releases. Do they even exist or are they only for future releases?
PS - I don't really know where to ask this since there isn't a proper category that I could find for website questions.

The 32-bit builds will work and are actually faster compared to same 64-bit build currently.
The 64-bit Nightly on Windows are are mainly for to test for breakage as it is possible to break the 32-bit win builds without breaking 64-bit win and same goes other way. In the early days long before Firefox 4.0 it was just Linux that got 64-bit builds and they were mainly for breakage.
The 64-bit win builds are still Tier 2 builds which mean if something breaks or a server for it goes down, it does not have the priority to get working right away like the regular Firefox builds which are Tier 1. https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Supported_build_configurations
It looks like the earliest release to have 64-bit on Windows will be Firefox 12.

    Perf numbers look good.
Client side updater requirements are done.
This was a big part in the steps to have 64-bit builds on Windows.

  • Can't find the 64 bit version of the WebLogic Server

I can't find the 64 bit version of WebLogic. Does anyone know where it is?

    Hi,
You can choose the generic version. The generic installer is truly generic. It can be used on any supported platform, 32-bit or 64-bit.
With the generic installer, you specify an appropriate 32-bit or 64-bit JDK in the PATH variable of the server before running the installer
Let me explain a bit here:
Java is platform independent. There is no distinction between a 32-bit Java application and a 64-bit Java application.
WebLogic Server is a Java application, nothing more, nothing less.
So, think of WebLogic Server as a Java application that is run like any other Java application by invoking the main method. In WebLogic Server the main method is in the weblogic.Server class

  • Where can I find firefox 64-bit

    Hi!
I installed ORACLE Entrprise Linux 4 u.7 64-bit. Where can I find firefox 64-bit? It is absent in the distribution.

    Hi Herb,
For the record, we are talking about the Flash plugin from Adobe being an "alpha" release, not the Firefox browser.... (see: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/64bit.html)
It's "alpha", in that Adobe assumes no responsibility for supporting incompatibilities with the Flash spec., would be my guess. I've been using it since November, 2009 (and the latest refresh of the Alpha, early Feb., 2010) with good results. By "good", I mean, it hasn't crashed my browser, seems to perform moderately well on my laptop, and I can hit all the Flash sites like YouTube, ETrade, and things "just work". I've had much better luck with this alpha release of the plugin than I've had with the Linux open-source plugin, swfdec: http://swfdec.freedesktop.org/
If you read the Adobe FAQ (http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/faq.html#flashplayer10FAQ_64-bit03) it appears Adobe plans to release the full version with their next major release cycle.
    Hope that clarifies...

There is no download aside from the one in the Mac App Store available to people running Mac OS X 10.6.6 and newer. The other way of getting iPhoto 9 is to purchase iLife 11 on DVD. As iLife 11 requires Mac OS X 10.6.3 or newer, it's usually best to update to 10.6.8 for free and then use the Mac App Store version.

  • Where can i download official 64 bit version even if it is beta etc

Where can i download official 64 bit version even if it is beta etc
    I am using win 8.1 64 bit
and i can say that every application i develop as 64 bit on c# works better on this os
so i want to try out 64 bit firefox as well

The earliest Mozilla will have a Win64 version of Firefox is Firefox 37.0 in first phase. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/win64
You can technically build Win64 Firefox now or use the so call third-party builds but that does not mean they are stable though it may seem like it.

  • Where can I find Vista 64-Bit drivers for the Satellite A100-049?

I currently run Vista Home Premium SP1 32-Bit and do so because there appears to only be 32-Bit drivers on Tosiba's website:
    [http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/vista_drivers.jsp?macId=&mode=allMachines&userOS=& action=search&selCategory=2&selFamily=2&selSeries= 153&selProduct=700&selOS=2]
Where can I find Vista 64-Bit drivers for the Toshiba Satellite A100-049?
    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.
That's rubbish. Vista 64-bit runs fine with 2Gb and my laptop supports up to 4Gb.
We'll never move on to 64-Bit if companies don't provide drivers.
I'll look at those sites. I've had trouble installing nVidia drivers from nVidia website.
I have to use the one provided by Toshiba.
Hopefully I won't find this when trying 64-Bit. My plan is to go 64-Bit with Windows 7 so no rush just yet.
As I understand it Vista drivers will work with Windows 7.
Thankfully when I reinstalled Vista 32-Bit not long ago using an OEM from Technet I only need 2-3 drivers from Toshiba website, most of it they give to download you don't need at all.
    Thanks again.
p.s - They do offer 64-Bit drivers for my network card though.

  • How do I download the 64-Bit version of iTunes for Windows 7?

I just got a new computer with Windows 7 O.S. I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes to the computer, but when I try to install it, I am getting a message telling me I need the 64-Bit version, but I have downloaded the 32-Bit version.
I have tried to find the 64-bit version but am having no luck finding it. Can someone please point me in the right direction with a link to the 64-Bit version. Thank you very much.
    Joie

Head to the downloads page, Joie:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Down at the bottom left (scroll down if necessary?), you should see:
64-bit editions of Windows Vista or Windows 7 require the iTunes 64-bit installer
... click the *64-bit installer* text to go to a downloads page for the latest version of the 64-bit installer.

  • 64-bit version of Quicktime for Windows

I'm running 64-bit version of Windows 7 via bootcamp.  I'm running 64-bit version of Microsoft Office 2010.  I have the latest version of Quicktime installed 7.7.3 something.  I can play the file on the desktop no problem, but when I try to insert the file into Powerpoint or play a file that I inserted previously into Powerpoint on a different system, it says either Quicktime unavailable or you need a 64-bit version of Quicktime in order to insert the file.
So, exactly where is a 64-bit version of Quicktime for Windows because apparently the one on the Apple website for Windows is not 64-bit.  Everyone keeps saying download the 64-bit version of Quicktime.  Great, tell me where it is.  There is no option for 64-bit on the website.  It doesn't even say it is 64-bit.  It just says its compatible with Windows 7.  Powerpoint 2010 64-bit MUST have a 64-bit version of Quicktime in order to insert or play any Quicktime file.  The OS doesn't give a rats @ss one way or the other.
The file I previously inserted was playing on a system that apparently had a 32-bit version of Powerpoint installed.  That machine defaults to VLC player on the desktop.  It has no issues with the file.  It's the Quicktime Player mismatch on my machine that is giving me grief.  If I knew Office was going to be a PITA if I installed the 64-bit version I would have stuck with the 32-bit version.
Ideas?  Where is the 64-bit version?  How do you tell it is 64-bit?  How do you force the installer to make sure it ONLY installs a 64-bit version of it?

If Microsoft merely off their own decided that only a 64-bit version of QuickTime was going to be supported by them and did not both checking such a beast existed then this is perfectly believable behavior on the part of Microsoft and they should roast in **** for it.
If Apple led Microsoft to believe that a 64-bit version of QuickTime was going to be released like a 64-bit version of iTunes for Windows has been released but then backed out then this is equally believeable behaviour on the part of Apple and then equally the guilty parties at Apple should roast in ****.
It should be noted that the 64-bit version of iTunes is able to play videos via the 32-bit version of QuickTime. This suggests Microsoft programmers are weak with the force. This would tend to support my theory that Microsoft despite being the biggest software company in the world are better at making hardware than software.
Moving on to trying to be more constructive…
Clearly as things stand using the existing and only official version of QuickTime for Windows which is 32-bit only is not going to work in 64-bit Office. It might therefore be worth looking at trying the following.
Uninstall completely Apple's 32-bit QuickTime for Windows (if installed currently)
Install QuickTime Alternative - see http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm
I have no idea if QuickTime Alternative is 64-bit, I have no idea if it will work in 64-bit Office even if it is 64-bit. However it does work in Internet Explorer for Windows, it is free and therefore will cost you nothing to try. If it does not work you can then always uninstall it.
As another even more abtruse solution, you could try loading your PowerPoint file in to the free iWorks i.e. KeyNote via a free iCloud account. It will allow importing PowerPoint files and will even work in Internet Explorer.
