Where do I find Maverick update?

I neglected to upgrade my iMac to Maverick and now I want to install some other updates and can't because I didn't install Maverick first. Where can I find it to install it?

I was able to figure it out when I did a search and saw I could install Yosemite. It didn't actually tell me there was no Maverick, but it let me install OS X Yosemite, and no bells or whistles went off so I figured I was safe. Thank you for the reply.

Hi. I'm tryin to connect my mac mini with my new HP printer.
The softwere won't start because it says that I don't have de update the softwere needs, which is OS X v10.8 or later.
I have OS X v10.7.5. I have found, on apple's site, OS X v10.8.1 and OS X v10.8.2.
But my mac won't accept to run any of them. It just says that I need OS X v10.8 to run the other updates.

I used it exclusively on an old iBook. (POS from the beginning - bad motherboard, replaced, went bad just out of warranty. So I use it for only certain things.)
Now I want to load the scrollwheel ipod (also POS, bad motherboard where the headphones plug in, can't be repaired) from my iTunes 10 machine.
iTunes 10 does not see the ipod with it's 1.2.6 software. iTunes 7.5 sees it but will no longer update itself or the ipod.

A "scrollwheel 10G" (10 GB) iPod may be 3rd gen... If it's a 3rd gen iPod, the one with a "scrollwheel" and four "touch" buttons in a row between the screen and wheel (that glow orange), it will only work properly with a FireWire connection. Although it has a dock connector, it does not charge over a USB connection. If you Mac has a FireWire 800 port, you can use an adapter to connect to the old FireWire (400) docking cable.
Mine still works perfectly (it's had a few battery replacements) with the latest iTunes and Mac OS X 10.7.4. I think it has great sound...

Where can I find Firefox update information on the website?

Firefox was recently downloaded on the laptop I am using with Win7. Over the past few weeks, several times I've been surprised to find a tab open from Firefox telling me to click here to update. I've been told to always get updates from the website, not from these pop-ups. But I don't know where to look on the site to get the updates. I see in some of the questions that people want help with that there is an auto update feature and also manual--but I don't know where to find them. I am not very intuitive in poking around--so finally am writing for help, if you can direct me where to go to see if there really are updates I need to do, or if the messages that I am getting are bogus.

Where can I find Java updater 6, 7, or 8?

I just finished reinstalling my OS because I discovered (too late) that the Java updater 9 patch (Java 6 release 24) rendered my Java-based admin console for FileMaker Server v10 unaccessible. Since that patch cannot be uninstalled, I'm now trying to get back to the release just prior to updater 9. However, Apple's download page shows updater 5 and updater 9 only. I can find references to updaters 6, 7, and 8, but not download links.
I'm not sure I really need them, but am interested in them for the sake of running the latest release I can find. Does anyone know of such download links or a reason why Apple does not post them or why I should perhaps avoid them?
