If you have configured iCloud settings correctly on your iPad, you will find the email in the iPad's Mail app.

My iCloud storage is almost full so I'd like to upload my photo stream photos to some storage website so that I can delete my iCloud photo stream backup and clear up some storage space. It depends on when you enabled photo stream on your device and on your Mac. When you enable photo stream on your device, only photos added to the camera roll after enabling photo stream are uploaded, not existing photos. And photo stream photos are only kept in iCloud for 30 days (even though they remain on your devices until deleted). Because of this, when you enable photo stream on your Mac, you only receive photo stream photos from the last 30 days, as old photos are no longer in iCloud.
If your goal is to reduce your iCloud storage, deleting photo stream photos won't help because they don't use your iCloud storage. Only camera roll photos use your iCloud storage because they are included in your iCloud backup.
If you want to get all your photos in iPhoto, save your photo stream photos to your camera roll (if not already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then import them to iPhoto as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. When you do, you will have the option to delete them from your camera roll, thereby saving space in your iCloud account by reducing the size of your next backup.

I did the same thing as you did and mine show up under Audiobooks on my iPhone. I would maybe try doing a search on the iPhone for the audiobook (swipe down on screen) and type in the audiobook to see if you can find the lcoation of the audiobook.

The latest OS X version is OS X 10.8.3, so first check that you can use OS X Mountain Lion. First, check that your Mac supports Mountain Lion > http://www.apple.com/osx/specs If it's compatible, open the App Store and purchase Mountain Lion. While it's being downloaded, make a backup of your files and check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com
When the download finishes, the OS X installer will appear, so follow the steps. After upgrading, you will have 10.8.3.
If your Mac isn't compatible with Mountain Lion, check that you can run Lion > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4949 If you can run OS X Lion, call Apple to purchase it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 After upgrading to Lion, you will have 10.7.5.

Your question is unclear. If you're backing up to your iMac, (via iTunes, with cable or WiFi), this has nothing to do with iCloud and the backup is stored on your iMac here:
: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

Using iPhoto as the email client in iPhoto does not creatge a sent copy. iPhoto indicates in the Info drawer if a photo was emailed by iPhoto (under the Sharing section):
There's no easy way to search for photos that have been emailed. Each photo has to be inspected via the Info tray.
One could add a keyword to emailed photos which would let a smart album keep track of those photos.
A better solution, IMO, is to set Mail as the email client (in iPhoto's General preference pane) and use it. That will give you an sent copy, better access to your contacts and, if you want a theme, numerous photo themes under the Stationary section of Mail.

Click the iCloud icon in System Preferences. Then proceed as described here:

Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu on your Mac.
Click iCloud, enter your Apple ID, and select the services you’d like to enable.
After you enable iCloud and enable "Contacts", you should be able to see all contacts currently stored in iCloud.

You have to set up an iCloud account on your PC and turn iCloud on on your iPad and iPhone 5. There is currently no way to directly access your photos on the iCloud website, but if you set up an account, and turn it on on both of your devices, then you will have PhotoStream, which will share any photos taken by either device with the other.
