Where do i find my iphone contacts recently synced with icloud on my pc?

Hi Apple World! HELP! i have just synced my iphone 4s with icloud on my PC but can´t find my contact numbers? i also did the same with itunes and can not find any contact information? i will be upgrading my iphone 4s to iphone 5s and need to know my contacts are there before deleting them off my old phone, any help greatly appreciated,Thanks! p.s My Pc is running Windows7.

Go to www.icloud.com and see if they are there.
And stop with the double sync, either use iCloud or iTunes (which is not iCloud) you will have problems if you use both.

    Hi
I have about 1000 contacts on my iPhone 4 after syncing with iCloud there are only about 120 contacts on iCloud How can I have the same info on both the iCloud and my iPhone

On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Contacts off then back on then reset the device.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

My iphone contacts got synced with my daughter's ipod contacts and she deleted my contacts and now they are gone from my iphone.  How do I recover my contacts?

First, your daughter needs her own iCloud account, otherwise her ipod will sync will all your data (email, calendars, contacts...).  If you have a backup or a copy on your computer, you could turn off iCloud syncing on your iphone, then restore from your contacts via iTunes.  After you get a new account for daughter, you can then turn on iCloud.

  • Can I uninstall iTunes now I have my iPhone set to sync with iCloud?

I decided that I wanted to completely phase iTunes out of my life now that I really can't see a need for it. I now have my iPhone set up to automatically create a backup to the iCloud. This will obviously make it easier when buying a new iPhone or iDevice. However, I need to be sure that I'm safe before I uninstall and remove iTunes from my PC.
Does having my iPhone set to sync with iCloud in settings now mean that iTunes can be made redundant and mean I can safely now remove it from my PC? Will all of my apps and music be safely backed up too?

I have reconsidered my situation and realised it would probably be more wise to hold onto iTunes. The only reason I wanted to get rid of it is because it uses up space on my hard drive unnecessarily. I also don't have any music on my iPhone that I did not buy via iTunes, is Match the only way to make sure your iTunes purchases are backed up to iCloud? When I buy a new iPhone and set it up the new way, I won't get my iTunes purchases automatically installed again?
My other issue is that I soon plan to do a fresh install of my OS when I purchase Windows 8. I will obviously lose iTunes and didn't want to have to go through the trouble of setting it up again if I really don't have to.
But I also today realised the only way to do a restore should anything go wrong and the only way to request a refund on a purchase is through iTunes, which makes it more worth while keeping around.

  • HT1688 I have a new iphone 5. I can not get my contact to sync with icloud on my iMac. I have an msn account for email.

I have an imac with OS X 10.8.2 and an iphone 5. i have AT&T service and msn email account. My contacts and calendar are not syncing with icloud! I have all the settings adjusted correctly and I can not figure out why it won't sync.

iPhones running iOS 6 require iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or later. You will have to upgrade OS X, then download the latest version of iTunes.
You can copy your iTunes library to the new machine either manually, or you can use the migration assistant built into OS X to transfer the entire account. Up to 5 computers can be activated using the same iTunes account.

  • IWork on my iPhone no longer syncs with iCloud

About two weeks ago, I noticed that my numbers documents stopped syncing with icloud. I would see the upload icon but nothing would actually happen. Edits I made on my phone wouldn't upload and documents I created on my mac wouldn't download. All other icloud functions work on my phone. My documents are making it to icloud without incident when I create or edit them on my mac.
I've tried reseting my phone, doing a software restore, removing then reinstalling Numbers and Pages and updating both apps. Most recently, I updated to iOS 6. Nothing has worked. Is there anything that I can do short of setting ym iphone up as a new phone. I really don't want to do that and loose my message history and call data.
    thanks

Is it everything that no longer syncs, or is it just one of the things, i.e. just calendar, contacts, notes? Many times as mentioned in the earlier post, it can be caused by a corrupt .pst file. Run the scanpst.exe application that resides in the Office folder. That will run a repair on the .pst file. Go into iTunes and reset the sync history and then try the sync again. If that doesn't help, it is possible there is a corrupt appointment in the calendar. That can cause a problem with syncing.
Try those couple of hints and see if that helps. Come back if it doesn't and let us know some more specifics.

  • My iphone is not syncing with iCloud

Hi, i have just noticed (it may have been going on for a few weeks) that my iPhone 4 (IOS6) will not sync with icloud.  This has not been a problem in the past.  If I put a new event on the phone, it is not shown on icloud and vice-versa.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Try Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > [scroll down to the Contacts area] > Default Account.
    Is this set to "iCloud"?
Do you have such a setting (Default Account)?  Frankly, I don't ... all my contacts have been in iCloud (only) for years.  But I'm thinking you do have this setting based on this article:

    No problems in iOs 6
    Thank you for help

    Hi Daniel Stonek,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  If your iPhone's calendar events are not syncing properly to other devices, I would use the iOS section of this article to troubleshoot:

  • How do I get my 'On my iPhone' Contacts to sync to iCloud?

We just upgraded my son's Mac to 10.8.2 from SnowLeapord. He didn't previously have iCloud support. So on his iPhone he had his contacts stored as 'On my iPhone'. He had a separate Contact list on his Mac for his AIM addresses.  We turned on iCloud syncing and his Contacts from his Mac Contacts App synced to the iCloud as we expected.
Now we want to get his contacts from his iPhone which are stored to "On my iPhone" to sync to his iCloud account and create a merge between his Mac and his iPhone Contacts list. We want to merge we don't want Mac or Phone to overwrite the other.
We can't figure out how to get it to do the merge. We tried 'Importing Sim Contacts' on the iPhone, but they don't import to iCloud.
Does anyone know how to get this to work?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Iphone 6 not syncing with iCloud or uploading photos

since switching to the beta version (probably a big mistake in hindsight) my shiny new iPhone 6 will no longer sync with my iPad or upload photos to the iCloud. I get a persistent message stating I need to connect to wifi to upload - but my phone is connected to wifi every day and meanwhile the total number of photos not uploaded steadily increases.
I Have been unable to find an answer anywhere - even in the Apple Store Genius Bar, where they clearly couldn't be bothered.
Aby help would be gratefully received!

    Thanks Wilkie.
No, I haven't tried re-enrolling to iCloud but have searched pretty much everywhere for a resolution. It does seem as if I'm not alone with this experience though. My iPad seems fine but the iPhone 6 just will no longer sync with the iPad or the cloud. I did see a suggestion that turning the "upload to photo stream" off and on might rectify it, but I don't want to risk losing any photos or videos. This is extremely frustrating and I only wish Apple had warned of this possibly happening so I had the choice whether or not to accept the beta "upgrade". It would help if there was some news on when the beta version will end in the hope that this problem will also.
I do have other cloud storage and I am aware I can upload my photos to a shared account as a "get around" but the principle here is that Apple have messed things up and don't seem to be in a hurry to put them right either!

  • New iPhone won't sync with iCloud

I recently got a new iPhone 5.  I cannot seem to get it to sync with my old iPhone 5's iCloud backup....I am seeing that I have 2 iCloud backups, but cannot access the old one.

You are not suppose to sync with back up you suppose to restore from one.
Once you restored from one, you can't restore from second unless you erase first one.

  • Contacts not syncing with icloud

Contacts on my office 2010 not syncing with iCloud

Check the iCloud Control Panel: Start > Control Panel List View > iCloud:
Sign in with correct Apple ID used with iCloud on your device.
Put a check mark next to top selection of Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Tasks with Outlook.
Click "Apply" and save changes made here.
    Check iCloud.com Contacts
Go to iCloud.com > Sign in with your Apple ID used for iCloud on your device > Open "Contacts" > Check the listed contacts and groups are properly displaying as they are seen on your device or computer
If the above simple setup and checks do not solve your issue seek further help from the support article here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3998
