Where do I find my photos on the time capsule?

I use an Airport Time Capsule and now I want to go back and find some photos in iPhoto-library but I can't find them?

If you are asking about Time Machine backups, it is not possible to "browse" individual photos in the backed up library if you are using the Lion operating sysem or later.
All that you can do is restore the entire library, then go hunting for the photos that you want.
When you choose to restore the library, you will have the option to replace your current library with the library in the backups, or restore as a separate library.

If the MBP is already connecting to the network via the TC it is just being difficult. (It is incredibly difficult at the moment as apple have some built in bugs in Lion and ML).
Use finder and go, go to server. Type in the actual TC name. Thusly..
AFP://TCname
If the MBP still cannot find the TC.. reboot it.. it should then work.. it is like olden day electronics .. sometimes you need to give it a swift kick to get it going.
(Please do not actually physically kick anything.. I was being metaphorical!!)

Just got a 2TB TC with a view (for my own reasons) of running my iTunes library on it.
(just the media files will be stored on it. iTunes' database will still be on my mac, and iTunes pointed towards my TC).
Where do I drop my files? In my finder, i have "Time Machine Backups" mounted as a drive, but my TC is also mounted seemingly as a share below.

so it's best to create a second disk image along with the TM one, and use that.
Actually, it would be best to use a second hard drive. You could then use the TC's internal drive for backups and the external drive for your media files ... or vice-versa.
The next best would be to partition the TC's internal drive. Unfortunately, that can't be done without first removing it ... which may void your warranty.
The last option would be to create a Disk Image on the TC's internal drive of a desired size. A drawback of the doing so would be that this image will not be readable from Windows devices.

How can I make the Time Capsule Icon stay on my desktop?

I just replaced my old Airport Extreme and aging external drive with a new Airport TC. The upgrade coulen't have been easier. Here's my question. I occasionally want to access the TC as in external drive so I would like the TC icon to appear on my desktop all the time rather than appearing only when the Time machine is running. Is there a way to do this? I'm running all the latest software / firmware. Thanks and I know there have been some similar threads but they were pretty old.

Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Users & Groups
Click the Login Items tab (next to the Password tab)
Click the + buttton at the bottom of the list
Use the Finder interface to locatet the Time Capsule drive and open it on the desktop
Click Add
Now the Time Capsule drive....named "Data", unless you have renamed it, will mounta and appear on the desktop when your Mac starts up.

THe Disk of the Time Capsule cannot be written by Time Machine when an Airport Express is bridged to it by Ethernet

Whenever I add an Airport Express in Bridging Mode to the existing WiFi network of the Time Capsule (both connecting to the same GigaBit Ethernet ADSL modem router, Time Machine (and Finder) cannot backup to the Time Capsule Disk.
(Why do I need to add another Airport Express to the same WiFi network? Because I want to use the AirPlay jack on the Airport Express to output audio signals.)
If I unplug the power of the Airport Express, everything back to normal.

finally getting back to this project---adobe starter edition 3.2 is on a windows XP computer
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 is on our Windows 8.1 computer.
error messages--- had to give up trying to convert---I copied all our pictures to our windows 7 laptop and I installed adobe photoshop elements 12 (my bought program)
I wanted to try to convert there first. also I copied our catalog to this computer also. Everything was working fine I could see the collections just as they where on the XP computer.
then I tried to convert on the laptop. I believe the error said something about corrupt file, so I gave up that day. Next day I tried to open ADOBE STARTER EDITION 3.2 and it wanted an unlock code, no such code exists. and my copy of Elements 12 turned into a trial version which has expired. So I am a little hesitant to try to convert on the XP computer and mess up the existing catalog,
unless there is a fool proof way. I have tried manually making collections/ albums on Windows 8.1 and PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 and coping pictures into the new albums. sloooow!!
I probably have about 4500 pictures and 150 collections/ albums to go. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

I imported vacation photos, got the color wheel and did a force quit. Now I can't find any of those photos, and of course I deleted them from the SD card when I imported them. Where can I find those photos?

I imported vacation photos from my cameras SD card and deleted them when the import was complete. Then I moved them from Events into an Album. When trying to move 2 photos as once to another album I got the color wheel and locked up. I did a force quit but when I go back into iPhoto none of the recently imported photos appear - not in Events, the album, trash, etc. Where can I find those photos?

it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

Individual photos are not accessilble in the backup. You should be extracting photos from the phone to your computer like you would with any other digital camera.

Photo Stream, if they were uploaded to it within the last 30 days. Assuming you no longer have the phone or it's not working, that's it. If you didn't back them up, they're gone.

Thanks for the reply however this does not help. When I check the cloud it shows that I have only 20 photos. In reality I had a lot more than that. All the photos on the cloud are those that I have taken since I was at the Apple store. When I check cloud storage usage on my phone it says that I have 5.1 GB of photos. This is a lot more than the 20 that I can see. I am not sure what the Apple employee did to my phone.
Still looking for answers. It is really too bad that I can not talk to an Apple person to get help since they messed up my phone.
