Where do I find my proxy settings.

I need to find my proxy address.

Firefox for Android proxy settings are hidden:
#Open about:config in the url bar.
# Enter “proxy.http” into the search box on the about:config page.
# Tap Modify on “network.proxy.http” and type the proxy server name/ip address into the text box.
# Tap Modify on “network.proxy.http_port” and type the port number into the number box.
#Enter “network.proxy.type” and enter 1
#Restart Firefox.
Another way to manage this on the device is from an app in the Google play store with more features and nobs and whistles.
Managed by an add on [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/search/?q=proxy&platform=all&appver=35.0] -too bad Mobile Proxy is no longer available

    Hi TanaS,
I understand that you're trying to setup ePrint.  Most users when setting up ePrint do not require entering a proxy address.
Are you having trouble setting up ePrint?
Are you getting an error message when you try to setup ePrint?

  • Where can I find the PS1 settings of the Archlinux ISO

    Hello,
Where can I find the PS1 settings of the Archlinux ISO? I liked the color output really much !
    Thanks a lot.

If you just want colour, stick "%F{colour}...%f" around your variables.
    e.g.
"%F{red}%n%f" puts your username in red. It's all explained in the zsh manpages.
If you want the handydandy Superprompt™ (which I personally don't care for), look into grml zsh config files.
EDIT: or install grml-zsh-config and just use the whole thing.
EDIT EDIT: Look for "PROMPT" in the grml config files, not "PS1".

  • Where can I read the proxy settings Firefox chose, when configured to use "Auto-detect proxy settings for this network"?

I would like to set my system network proxy settings to those, Firefox chose. Firefox is configured to use "Auto-detect proxy settings for this network" and this works fine. How can I read out the settings Firefox chose, so I can adapt these system?

    Hello Richard,
Download MozBackup and make a backup of your bookmarks and passwords. Uninstall firefox and remove ALL folders with the name "Firefox".
Install Firefox and restore your bookmarks and passwords. Now you should have a fresh install so you have to make all settings again.

  • Where can I find a proxy server for firefox?

I would like to try using a proxy. I've looked into it a bit before, but the sites where I found proxy addresses appeared pretty sketch. At one time I found a page on the firefox support site that named some suggested proxy websites, so I assume they are fairly safe. Trouble is, despite an hour of searching, I can't find that page again. Can anyone give me a link to that page? Or provide some suggestions regarding proxies? Thanks

I just want to use portal server and deploy some
applications written in JAVA. Have I made myself
    understood?
    Still not clear.
Do you want a server application that deploys software. For example you create a game. Someone logs into your "portal server" and downloads the game from that?
Or do you just want to know how to package a java app that you have already written, and then put it on a CD so someone can install that on their computer?

  • Where do I find iTunes account settings on ipad

I updated to ios6 and now my iTunes on my iPad say my information is not valid in the us store and I must switch to the Canadian store.  I am in Canada but I can't find where to make this switch

I've had problems with my Mac's shared library not showing at all on my first gen iPad and/or it being very slow to appear - though I haven't tried since I installed iOS 5.1
You could try closing the Music app completely and re-opening it and seeing if the library then shows : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Music app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

  • Where do i find facebook quality settings?

playing some games on facebook require that i change my quality settings to low

This settings should is on the game, but you can disable the hardware acceleration:
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
    * [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]]
    * [[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

  • Where would I find the background settings?

I want to change the background to Transparent. How could I do it?

If you're talking about making part of an image you already have partially transparent, you'll need to make it a true layer (so that is e.g., Layer 0, not Background), then mask the part of it you want to see through.  There are tutorials on doing masking on Adobe TV.  For example:

  • How to find the system's proxy settings programatically

    Hi,
I am creating a ABAP class which acts as a HTTP client and thus I use the standard object  "call method cl_http_client=>create_by_url". This method takes the proxy host and proxy port as input and i want to know how can I find the proxy settings of my system programatically so that I do not ask customers to add these values as configurations for my code.
Is there any standard API in ABAP to find this information?

  • JWS not Inheriting PROXY settings from Netscape

    Hi!
We are using JWS 1.0.1_01 to launch our application, which needs the proxy settings of the user to connect via SSL to our servers.
We do not have any problems when the user does not use proxies to access the Internet or uses Internet Explorer as their default browser.
For users with Netscape 4.* as their default browsers, many users are not able to launch our application, as it can not find the proxy settings.
They can not download the sample applications of Java Web Start either.
They work fine if they make Internet Explore as their default browser or set the proxy manually in Java Web Start.
As our customers use some sort of scripts for proxy configurations we do not want to set the proxy manually in Java Web Start.
We want to use the proxy settings of the browser.
So I want to know if there is a known issue with Java Web Start not detecting the proxies automatically from Netscape.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks
    -Nawaz

Basically web start can only pick up the settings of whatever
happens to be the current Windows default browser. If that's Netscape then the Netscape settings will be used.
Since your clients are using a script to specify the proxy settings you should also be aware that there's an issue with web start 1.0_01 where it locates the proxy setting based on the first occurrence of the word "Proxy" in that script. This can cause issues if the first proxy
listed is for https only of even if the first occurrence of "proxy" is
    inside a comment.

  • Detect proxy settings and ports

Hello forum, I have a project to find out which servers or applications/services are going through ISA 2006 proxy. The servers comprise of WIndows 2003 and 2008 R2 boxes. I tried proxcfg.exe (pre 2008) and netsh winhttp show proxy (post 2008) but I get following
results. I know that these boxes do use proxy servers because they show up when I query ISA logs.
    C:\proxycfg
Microsoft (R) WinHTTP Default Proxy Configuration Tool
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
    Current WinHTTP proxy settings under:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
        SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections\
          WinHttpSettings :
         Direct access (no proxy server).
    C:\netsh winhttp show proxy
    Current WinHTTP proxy settings:
        Direct access (no proxy server).
I have also looked at registry keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings but found nothing of relevance. Checked IE settings and found no proxy configuration. How can I check which application or service is using proxy and on which port? Thanks again.

Thanks Quan, a little background, ISA version is 2004 and the traffic logging is done on a different box with SQL 2005. Which means that all server, service/application or user generated traffic first hits ISA boxes and data is logged in SQL server. Now, I
ran a query on SQL boxes to see if there are servers or applications still accessing old ISA servers and found that many still are using that route. The query I ran is
    select clientusername,Max(logtime)
    from webproxylog
    where logtime > '2014-03-04'
    Group by Clientusername
Outcome is a list of servers and users accessing old ISA servers, please see below

So I logged on to few servers to check proxy settings. The server list comprise of Windows 2003 and 2008 R2 boxes. On a handful of servers I found proxy, under IE settings but on others I didn't find any proxy settings (under IE). Then I tried proxcfg.exe (pre
2008) and netsh winhttp show proxy (post 2008) but I got following results, please see below.

  • How to disable proxy settings from ipad

hi i am using airtel india  sim for acessing internet from ipad mini. but my memberships in some accounts has been suspended saying that due to proxy use. but i  did not use any proxy settings n i m using internet via airtel internet. in this regard, i wnt to remove the proxy settings from my device. can any one help me on advising where to find the proxy settings and how to disable them? plz...............

Proxy settings on the iPad relate only to WiFi (Settings > WiFi). It's possible your mobile operator is using a Proxy. You should talk to them to see if that's the case.

  • Itunes and proxy settings. Itunes keeps the proxy setting from IE and I can't adapt it due to company policy. How can I force itunes to use firefox?

itunes can not connect to server and I can't find its proxy settings.
So I think it uses these from IE and those are blocked by company policy.
So, how can I force itunes to use the firefox settings

I fixed this issue (with help from tech support) and it involved several things.
After adding a song to iTunes, right-click on the song in iTunes and select "Update iTunes Match."
OR go to the iTunes menu-->Store-->Update iTunes Match.
Maybe that's the reason, it just hadn't updated to the cloud.
OR maybe it's not a high-enough bitrate file.   This happens to me because most of my tunes are home-recorded.
Sometimes converting to .mp3 or Create AAC version might work. (You do this with a right-click in iTunes, and then you will want to remove the original file from iTunes.)
There is an iTunes Preferences setting, under General Preferences called Import Settings.  Try setting it to AAC Encoder and iTunes Plus.   That (I think) causes imports to be slightly better quality.
Good luck!  The tech support person at Apple is requesting that a knowlege-base article be written about this.
