Where do I find the Red Eye Tool?

Where do I find he Red Eye Tool?

Hi Stubenrauch,
It's usually located in the same toolbox slot as the healing and spot healing brush tools.
Click and hold on the icons in the toolbox to reveal the menu for other tools in the same toolbox slot.
Or press J on the keyboard and then Shift+J to cycle through the tools in that slot.
What version of photoshop are you using?
Location of the tools in photoshop:
(may be slightly different depending on your version of photoshop)

That's no bad thing Chuck.  It indicates that you have better things to do than constantly refresh the forum LOL.
I'm having a wee posting spree today after lacking the inclination to respond to the same old threads for the last few days.    But I do love it when people get all in a tizzy complaining about stuff that is right under their nose (so to speak).   So I guess my criteria for responding is often based as much on how big a smile it puts on my face, as to how much I am helping the OP.   Unfortunately that irreverent approach gets me into trouble at times, and one of the moderators deleted one of my illustrated replies just a few days ago.  It took me a few minutes to work out why it had been deleted.  The subtext was 'risking one eye', and I eventually realized that the implied 'risk' could definitely be seen as offensive to some people.

Where do I find the Edge Highlighting tool in Photoshop CC

The Refine Edge Command is generally much better than the old extract filter.

Where do I find the copy stamp / tool in Photoshop elements 12?

    Hi,
Make sure you are in Expert mode (click on Expert at the top).
The Clone stamp tool appears in the Enhance group - make sure the tool option is set correctly.
Hope that is the one you want.

  • Where do I find the magic wand tool?

Where do I find the magic wand tool?

It's in your Toolbox, the fourth area from the top.
If you don't see it, the Quick Selection tool is probably chosen.
Press (that's a press down, not a click) on the Quick Selection tool, and hold for a moment.
You should see the Magic Wand. Move your cursor down and choose the Wand.

  • Where can I find the paint bucket tool

where can I find the paint bucket tool

Which version of photoshop and operating system are you using?
Generally the Paint Bucket Tool is grouped in the same tool slot as the Gradient Tool in the tool box.
You can click and hold on the tool icons in the tool box to see the hidden tools.
(hidden tools are preset if there is a small black or white triangle to the lower right of the tool icon in the tool box)

  • Where can i find the magnetic lasso tool in adobe photoshop touch? i used it all the time before but suddenly cant find it please help

i started my photoshop touch after some while and now i cant find the magnetic lasso tool it used to be there i used it all the time for editting but now i cant find it maybe i disabled it somehow. can anyone tell how to enable it again?

I honestly don't remember a magnetic lasso tool. (I've been using PS Touch since version 1.0.) The closest things I can think of are the Quick Selection Tool, the Scribble Selection Tool and the Magic Wand Tool, all located under the same set of tools (3rd set from the top in the tool panel).

  • Where can I find the freeze/thaw tool in liquify for Adobe CS 6 extended Version 13.0.6x64 on Mac system?

Hi, sorry for the noob question but I can't seem to find the freeze/thaw tool in liquify for Adobe CS 6 extended Version 13.0.6x64 on Mac.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi
First of all, thank you so much for taking your time to reply!
But it seems that I still can't find it in my photoshop application, I've attached a screenshot of what I see on the left after I click "liquify"

  • Where can i find the V25 producer tools

    Hi,
don't know why but i cannot find the folio producer tools for the v25.
Can anyone send me the link?
    Thanks

Why are you trying to install them? The v26 tools support creating v25 folios, just change the folio version when you create your folio to v25 (or any folio version back to v20).

  • Where can I find the "red curtain" and countdown?

I would like to show the red curtain in my presentations within keynote before I start, you know like the one here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/specialeventoct05/index.html
Any one any idea where to find this picture?
Another thing: how do I get an automatic countdown like "Presentation starts in xx minutes" (e.g. flash or qt)?
    Thank you in advance.
    MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

iDVD 3 had a theater theme that's still in the newer versions of iDVD. One way to get a curtian image is to crack open the theme (for idvd 6 this means digging into the idvd folder in the Applications Support folder in your hard drive library).
Open the "BackgroundMovie.PAL.mov" file in QT (because the Pal version is larger than the NTSC version) and copy a single frame from it, then start a new Photoshop file from the frame you copied. Resize that up to fill your slide and you should be set.
Timers are a different story, and I'm thinking about selling some QT timers on my Keynoteuser.com site at some point.
Edit: I guess the pal movie and the ntsc movies are the same, so it doesn't matter which one you use.

  • Red Eye Tool

I recently tried to remove some red-eyes in some pictures I took. When I clicked on the photo, it made a black circle around the eye, like a black-eye on the photo. Any ideas what might be causing this? I have used the red-eye tool in the past and not had this problem.

    Craig,
You can change the curser into a circle, which you can resize to match the pupil exactly. It helps to zoom in all the way on the photo after you enter edit mode.
    Type Caps lockControl9
    Undo caps lock
Click on the Red-Eye Removal tool.
The tab key will toggle between cursor types, a cross or a circle for Red-Eye removal tool and between darken and lighten in the Retouch tool.
The "[" and "]" keys decrease or increase the size accordingly.
To get a lighter correction, Shift-click in the eye.
NOTE: Using the "{" "}" keys will will change the value next to the circle and that represents the degree of change or intensity that the Retouch tool imparts on each pass.
Thanks to Old Toad for passing along this trick. I find that it often works better than the red-eye correction in Photoshop Elements.

  • Red eye tool doesn't work

I have a folder with both raw and JPEG images. I can use the red eye tool on the raw images, but Lightroom just beeps when I try to use the it on the JPEG images. Why is it beeping? What does it mean?
More info: this is Lightroom 1.3 running on Vista. The raw images are from a Canon 40D. The JPEGs are from a Panasonic FX07.

Ramon is right. Best to select the whole eye (even eyebrow) and you'll get the overlay box around the red. If it doesn't entirely cover the red (or if it box bounds some reddish eyelids) you can click and drag to widen(lessen) or lengthen the box and change the 'pupil size'. And so far I haven't found any, even bright, redeyes where the 'darken' control won't get a good dark result. [Animals (green/yellow eyes) are a different story.] Sometimes going too dark will also darken the irises. With the 'show overlay' unchecked you can drag the 'fix' off the eye onto the cheek to see the pattern - dark in the center and then a gradient fade of dark going out from center. "Clear all" clears all of course and you can start over.
