Where do I find the tools to edit a pdf document?

I am trying to edit and have had Adobe cloud thingy for a couple of months so I could convert and edit as necessary.  I pay for it monthly.  So far I can't figure out how to edit and think I may have purchased the wrong Adobe.  Since you can't contact Adobe directly ... here I am.  I am thinking this is not for me...

Hi flbdpublisher,
Did you purchase a subscription to Acrobat Pro? (It sounds that way if you're paying monthly.) If so, you just need to sign in to your account at https://www.cloud.acrobat.com and click Acrobat at the far right. Click Download Now to download and install Acrobat--that's where you will find the tools that you are looking for.
Please let us know if you need additional help.
Best,
Sara

Sorry, I am new to the type of problem-solution process and I do not know how to edit my first statement. My true statement is below:
My pdf freezes when I click on COMMENT. I am trying to get at the tools to edit a pdf. If I use the tools from the toolbar, there is no issue, but once I click COMMENT, the document freezes and I have to open Task Manager to crash it. This started in the last seven days (3.31.15).

I answered your questions below, BUT while I was searching for properties, I found the REPAIR ACROBAT INSTALLATION feature, did the repair and (Voila!) the issue was resolved!
Thanks for making me search for information.

I am using Acrobat XI Pro, version 11.0.10.32.
I did not create the file I was working in during the freezes, so I tried a PDF that I created with Adobe and it also freezes when I click on COMMENT. I did discover that the COMMENTS plug-in is loaded. (see image
I have used COMMENT for years without this issue occurring. It started in the last 2 weeks.
I could not find Properties under the file menu, but found a security setting in Preferences under the Edit menu. It did not have a way to allow/disallow COMMENT.

  • Where do i find the "tools" function on Firefox 5?

Cant seem to find the TOOLS function. Can anyone help with this, has it been advantageously replaced with something else?
Under Options there is nothing similar.
    What happened with this feature?
Would appreciate someone responding to this.
I do not find any tutorial specifically designed for FF 5 or am I not looking in the right places?

Thank you edmester, you always show your resourcefulness and your willingness to help. You are a very valuable contributor

  • Where can I find the 'Tools' menu on my iMac? OS is 10.9.5, Safari is 7.1.3.

    Hi All,
Does anyone know how I can access the 'Tools' menu that I think should be on the top tool bar? I have searched on the net for help without any success.
    Thanks,
    David.

You must be thinking about another browser. FireFox has a Tools menu--Safari does not. Most of the things FireFox puts under its Tools menu are found in Safari preferences.
Editing or customizing the toolbar is accessible through Safari's View menu. If you need advanced features found unde "Web Developer" in the FireFox Tools menu, you can activate Safari's "Develop" menu by doing Safari > Preferencs and selecting the "Advanced "tab. At the bottom is a checkbox to show the Develop menu.
Here is a comparison. FireFox's "Tools" menu with the web developer options expanded:
    Safari's "Develop" menu after activation:

  • Where can I find the latest version number in a document in the web? so I can download it with wget to check if the current installed firefox version is up to date and update ir if necessary?

My problem is that I can't find the latest version number in here http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32 as a document, so I can check against "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox\CurrentVersion" and update or not, all this is done by a script. It will be great not have to change the versión number in the script every time there is a new release.
    Thanks

I think I solved, all I have to do is this:
//here I download the entire page
    wget.exe http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html -O index
//here I search for the word curVersion and set a variable with the result, which is "10.0.2"
    for /f "tokens=3 delims=</> " %%A IN ('type index ^| FIND /I "curVersion" ' ) do set latestversion=%%A
    //here I just make sure I get a number
    echo "%latestversion%"
    pause
Later I check it against the registry and voila! I hope this can help other admins who have the same problem.
    Regards.

I don't know how to locate tools

Click on the Firefox icon, or right click on a Toolbar. You can have the Menu Bar stay on by:

Boss in an Adobe dreamweaver CS6 where i can find the hotspot tool

    Hello,
my way is (all comands translated from my German DW):
    1. Insert an image
    2. Click into the image
    3. Menu for the hotspot tools opens (see screenshot, where I used "Polygon")
    4. Click into the image (see screenshot) > Give an "alt" for your image, if you want.
    5. Make your wished figure:
    6. And in your code you now will see something like:
    <p><img src="../images/grafik07-300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" usemap="#Map"/>

    Hi People
Dose anyone know where i can find the zoom and pinch tool in adobe draw?
On adobe ideas it was on the tool bar with the pan icon that looks like a hand and the cross icon for the zoom.
Just wondering if Adobe put it in the new Adobe Draw program, i hope so, its hard to get detail with out the zoom tool.
    Best, Phil

Oops Sorry Jumped the gun again! i found out how to do it. I was using my jot touch styles which mean you have to hold down the icon on the upper left with the styles then use your fingers to do the pinch and zoom gesture to make it work

  • Where can I find the equivalent tools in Photoshop that are in the develop module of Lightroom

    Friends:
Where can I find the equivalent tools in Photoshop that are in the develop module of Lightroom?  For example I would like to use the shadow, clarity, lens correction and such tools but cannot find them in Photoshop.
    Thanks amigos
    Migs

The obvious or not so obvious first. Depending on your knowledge. When you open a tiff, jpg, or camera' raw format they can be opened in Adobe Camera raw first which has identicle controls to lightroom's develop module.
Starting with I beleive CS5 maybe 4, some of the tools made their way into photoshop it self. Take a look at the camera lens filter, the Image>Adjustment menu or the adjustment layers which now support vibrance for example.

Perhaps you can copy it using a different computer, from the disk to a USB key.
However, external DVD drives are cheap and in my view essential.

That's no bad thing Chuck.  It indicates that you have better things to do than constantly refresh the forum LOL.
I'm having a wee posting spree today after lacking the inclination to respond to the same old threads for the last few days.    But I do love it when people get all in a tizzy complaining about stuff that is right under their nose (so to speak).   So I guess my criteria for responding is often based as much on how big a smile it puts on my face, as to how much I am helping the OP.   Unfortunately that irreverent approach gets me into trouble at times, and one of the moderators deleted one of my illustrated replies just a few days ago.  It took me a few minutes to work out why it had been deleted.  The subtext was 'risking one eye', and I eventually realized that the implied 'risk' could definitely be seen as offensive to some people.
