Where are you getting backgrounds, textures, and templates for CS6?

I'm just curious about good web sites to download royalty free backgrounds, templates, textures, etc. for Photoshop. I'm willing to pay a small annual fee to join the site, but of course free is always good too. I'd rather avoid places like iStock- I'm looking more for a site that has Photoshop or other design applications in mind.
I've found a couple of sites through Google, but they seem old and not updated as often (they still mention compatibility with CS4 and 5).
So what are your favorite sites?

Thanks, but I'm thinking more along the lines of something like cgtextures.com. Great site with lots of stuff but the vast majority are photos. I'd also like templates and non-photo images.
For example, the other day I had to create a "Wanted: Dead or Alive" poster for someone. I found some good tutorial instructions on how to do it (I'm a photographer, not a graphics artist, so I need all the help I can get when it comes to graphics). One of the steps had me downloading some textures for the poster's background that no longer existed on the Internet, so I had to improvise a little.
I'd love to find a template for something like that that already has all the important elements in it. While I love learning new stuff, sometimes I have a deadline and it just has to get done. Open template, pop in picture, do some adjustments, etc.... done.
So I'm looking for templates along the lines of Photobacks, for example.
And I'm looking for non-photo graphics like you'd find on, for example, a band or movie poster.
Again, not being a graphics artist, I'm not going to go and recreate all that stuff. I have no problem paying a small fee... I just don't want to pay $30 for a star burst or a bolt of lightning that will end of being one little tiny element in a bigger work.

In the help-file in the German PSE8 it was recommended to update thumbnails! Perhaps this is the reason. But how can I be sure?

Where can you get a Macbook Pro laser etched?

I've seen some really interesting laptops, mainly MacBooks/PowerBooks, with amazing laser etched designs put into them. Where could I get something like this done? Have any of you done it yourselves, and was it worth it? It seems like a really nice anti-theft measure, as an added bonus.
Do universities with engineering or art departments often have these machines? How have some of you gotten this done, if anyone has?

External etching if done improperly may affect the warranty of the machine. Do any modifications which may affect the internal components of the machine after the machine is out of warranty. There are plastic shells you can put on the machine externally that add a distinctive character, and protect the metal beneath. I've not tried any of them, but have seen them in the third party Mac mail order catalogs, and magazines.

Does anyone know how to keep the DATE from changing in the first column? I have multiple different Activities on each day, but for each Activity, the Date column changes it to the next day. So, for example, I have 13 different activities - each with it's own line in the Activity column - on 2/22/2012. I want the Date in the Date column to stay 2/22/2012 for each one of these activities because they're all being done on the same day. But the Workout template changes the date to 2/23 for the second Activity, 2/24 for the third Activity, etc.
How can I keep it from doing this, so that I don't have to manually change each activity every single day. That would drive me crazy.

At this time, the date is inserted by a formula
=TODAY()
or
=NOW().
Delete the formulas and type the date.
Other possible explanation:
You insert a date in a row then apply fill down to fill the cells below.
Numbers User Guide explain that in such case, the value is incremented by one day when we fill the cell below.
It explain also that to get the same values in several cells, we need to fill the cells in first an second rows of the range with the same value, select both cells then drag the circular right_bottom handle.
I apologize but if Apple may deliver User Guides, it can't read them for you.

Make a copy of the table and produce your Line chart or Bar chart from the copy. Sort the copy into the order you want to see in your chart.
Alternately you could use a Scatter Chart...

I downloaded it, etc. and that didn't work.
It actually seems to work the same way as before I downloaded that driver, meaning, it prints but leaves it in the "# Document Pending" status.
Since the wireless HP print server isn't working (No connectMgr.exe file) there's no connection and therefore the doc won't print.
RE: Print/Server software out of date. The software was working for many months after originally installing it on this laptop. Then it just stopped. Now it can't find the .exe file and that's odd.
If I could find that file I could just save it where it needed to be and I'd be good to go.

Going to uninstall and reinstall again, just for fun. I'll report back.

Only two steps:
Download XML publisher desktop from oracle site and install on your machine.
Once setup finish then you will able to see one new toolbar in MS word (Template Builder).
Using that toolbar you can develop and test your report.
