Where do I get an older version for a G5 Power Mac with 10.3.9 OS?

I tried to download 3.6.17 three times from one site but it said the file was corrupt and it would not install. I really hate the propriatory nature of macs... I hate their browser...but I can't seem to install Firefox nor IE? I'd much rather prefer Firefox.

• Where can I get an older version of Mainstage?

I am a worship leader and would like to use Mainstage to run loops and backing tracks during a live setting. My MacBook is a 2006 A1811 with a core 2 duo processor, running 10.6.8 . It can not download Mainstage 3, where can I get an older version? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Older versions of MainStage are no longer available for sale. The _only_ way might be buying a used Logic Studio 2 box which contains MainStage 2.1.3. Quite a pricy endevour for an almost 3 year old application.

• Where can I get an older version of iPhoto for an older reconditioned Macbook?

I have reconditioned Macbook 13" that is 5-6 yrs old-no iPhoto on it. How do I get a copy that works with Snow Leopard? It never came with iPhoto and I have no disks anyway. It came with Leopard which I then updated by purchase. The version I have is 10.6.8. I assume that's as far as it goes since my Software Updater would have prompted me otherwise. My memory is also updated to 4GB.
It can't be updated to Mountain Lion which I have no problem with. I just want to get iPhoto on it because my iPhone has no memory left and I want to move some photos to my Mac system now. (and eventually I want to backup my photos as well that's another whole question). So I need the use of my computer system for all of this and my Macbook only has Preview to view pictures in. I can't install the current iPhoto and can't seem to locate where I can buy an older version that is compatible with my older system.
Thanks.

The App Store version of iLife ‘11 programs will only work with 10.7 or 10.8. You can get the iLife ’11 DVD which will run on 10.6 on eBay fairly cheap.

• Where can I get an older version of iMovie?

I recently upgraded to Leopard and after the first attempt some of the programs didn't perform properly. Long story short, the Geniuses at the Mac store told me to do an archive install but I was unable to (not enough hard drive space) and had to do a clean install. I had backed up all of my documents and files but lost all of my programs. Not a big deal as most were old and needed to be upgraded anyway.
The problem: I bought iLife 08 from the Mac store and installed it. Everything installed properly except for iMovie. It wouldn't install because my video card isn't sufficient to run iMovie 08 (or something like that).
I don't remember what version was on previously, but it worked great with Tiger. I have a 15 month old and we are constantly making camcorder movies and I really need an operable version of iMovie.
Since I bought iLife 08 I don't feel like I should have to buy any more software. I should be able to get an older version under the 08 license, IMO.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

• Where Can I Get an Older Version of iTunes?

iTunes 10.6.1 has frozen and stopped functioning on a perfectly-maintained Windows XP machine. Where can I download the two versions previous to 10.6.1? Thank you.

Apple never replies to posts made in these forums. These are user-to-user forums only.
As to answers from fellow users, I can only guess that others assumed that you could do a web search and find what you're looking for. But Apple almost never keeps old versions of iTunes (or any other software) available for download. The only place you could find an older version of iTunes 10.x would be on an unauthorized site, and that carries a signficant risk of getting malware rather than the software you're looking for. You can do a web search and you can probably find such places, but you're on your own as far as whether or not they're reliable.
Regards.

• Where can i get an older version of Download Helper?

Since the Download Helper no longer works with the new Browser/Add-on Update & it doesn't appear that it will be fixed anytime soon, where could I get and install an older version of the Download Helper?

Did you check for interference with other extensions?
Try a new profile with only that extension installed.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

• I have an iMac G5 running OSX 10.5.8. Is there a way to get an older version of Firefox that is compatible with this machine and OS?

The G5 is a Power PC

Firefox 3.6.x is the last available from Mozilla for PPC Macs.
For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4+ versions, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .
• I need to install Numbers, but my MacBook can't install the current version (I'm running 10.6.8). Where can I get an older version?

As the question says!

The App Store version of iWork ‘09 programs (Pages, Numbers & Keynote) will only work with 10.7 or 10.8 with the latest update requiring 10.9. You can get the Work ’09 DVD which will run on 10.6 on eBay or Amazon.com fairly cheap.

• Where can I get an older version of FPCX.

I have 10.7.5 and can't install from app., requires 10.9 and my hardware won't run it.

I was in the same boat. Running on the Lion OS, I could not find a way to download the earlyier version of FCPX. I contacted Apple and they kept sending me download links but none of them worked. So unless you saved the app on another disk or burned it to a DVD, I think you might be out of luck. I was lucky in that I did burn the app to a DVD.
Note: Russ H's page he posted only will work if oyu are running Mountain Lion.
