When I called the automated system would not give me an authorization code, and when I hit the option to speak with an agent the message stating that phone activations are no longer accessible. As long as it is not a Mac there is a chance the download can be found on the following page:

I say "a chance" because Acrobat Standard tends to be an issue when it comes to download availability ... give it a try.

In addition to what Monika said, since the activation servers for CS2 were closed down, your unique serial number and your disks will fail. The only way is to download the non activation versions along with the generic serial number(s). And if you have the Premium, you will have to download Acrobat and GoLive separately as standalone versions.

Actually, you are out of luck if you are looking for Acrobat Standard. I have run into a problem because the link is for Adobe 9.0 Pro and the serial no. for Std. won't work. I asked Adobe customer (chat) service for a downloadable of the Standard and they said they don't have one. Did you get the Std. version as part of the preinstalled software on your computer? If so, it would be on the recovery media of your old laptop but I don't know how you would retrieve it from there. I am in the exact same boat as you are. Let me know if you find out how to get the media for the Standard by responding on this thread. Thanks.

You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

How do I get an Authorization Code for CS2?

I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional from XP. Went to install Creative Suite 2 Premium, all 4 disks install fine, but no way to register it... and it will run for 30 days without and Authorization Code. I chated with Adobe and they sent me here! So how do I now get an Authorization Code or bypass this, this was an expensive software to just scrap... I have the Serial # and the activation # !!!

Where can I get the source code for sun classes?

Hello,
When ever you download sun's j2sdk, the archive always contains the source code for the entire sdk in a zip file called src.zip except the sun.xxx classes like sun.awt.print.PrintDialog or sun.awt.font.FontResolver.
For debugging purposes I need, if availabe, the source code of these classes which are not present in the src.zip.
Please can someone tell me if theses classes are available as source and can point me where I can find it cause I am searching for it but can't find it on the net.

Where is the problem? There are two solutions of the question.
The one link I posted points directly to the sun source download link. The "readme" explains, yippie, the sun sources are contained. Easy, isn't it?
With the other one, you have to navigate at least through two other pages before you might find the link and only if you recognize that "Download JDK 5.0 source via SCSL/JRL" means the sun source code and not the sources contained in the JDK download. This is what I thought as I've seen this link the first time. Unfortunately there is no "readme".
I prefer the easy way, I dont want to earn a doctorate. Ok, you can say dont "play the woman", but I'm a woman and a blonde too;-)

How does 1 enrol ? Do the open courses grant you a certificate of education.
A general subscription of how it works would be great.

Enrollment in iTunes U itself is for institutions who want to offer material through the iTunes Store. If you're just a student, then whether there is any enrollment process for a given "course" will depend on the specific material and whether the institution that provides it has made it public or private. If it's private, then there will be some sort of enrollment process through the institution and you'd have to contact the institution for information. The same would apply to any sort of certificate; that's entirely up to the institution.
