Where do I get those drivers pls?

MacBook Pro alu unibody (early 2009), Windows XP SP2 (Yuk! I know):
Trying to install Bootcamp and the drivers for Windows XP for that baby:
Problem:
My OS X Install Disc 1 for my MacBook Pro doesnt have the drivers on it.
(MacBook Pro Install Disc 1 10.4.8)
Luckily I have a generic leopard Disc. So I installed those drivers on my MacBook Pro, and a load of devices didnt have drivers still; such as; much to our dismay; networking.
Then I downloaded and installed Bootcamp 2.1 and that didnt change it at all either. It installed, but,
STILL no drivers for Bluetooth, Ethernet Controllers, iSight, Coprocessor, SM Bus Controller, Video Controller.
HELP!
Where can we please get / download the drivers for Win XP for the new MacBook Pro (early 2009)?
Any help appreciated.

That can't be right.
The 2009 MBP unibody should have come with an OSX Leopard 10.5.6 DVD, not with a OSX Tiger 10.4 DVD.
Sounds like you use an 'old' DVD with the 'new' MBP.
The OSX Tiger DVDs never had BootCamp Drivers included. BootCamp was still in Beta with Tiger and avaiable as a seperate download back then.

The generic Leopard DVD might be an earlier version, than the one that came with the unibody MBP. You have to use the Leopard DVD that came with that unibody MBP in order to install the correct BootCamp Drivers.
Search for it...

The BCUpdate 2.1 was also released prior to the unibody MBP and therefor does not include drivers for it.

Only to be found on the OSX Leopard DVD that came with it.
Any help appreciated.
Hope it helps

  • Oh my lord, where can I get windows drivers for Macbook Pro?....

Does Apple really not have any place that I can download Windows drivers for the hardware in my August 2010 Macbook Pro?!?  I am trying to use windows through bootcamp, and I am having tons of trouble.  I know there are supposed to be drivers in the OSX DVD that came with my computer, but that is all the way back in Maryland and I go to school in Tennessee.
<rant> Sorry if I seem irritated.  I just got over a total hard drive crash in this computer that isn't even 2 years old.  I have drives that are almost 10 years old in my PC desktop..  The drive that came stock with my Macbook pro was a total piece of crap in comparison to the cheapest notebook drives at Best Buy.  Really Apple?? 5400 RPM 8mb Cache Hitachi drive?? *Pukes in mouth* </rant>

Sorry for the rant.  This is what happens everytime I have tried.  I actually have a booting Windows 7 partition on here already but it is barely running on the stock/generic windows drivers that are just there to get the OS through install.
I have an OSX 10.6 disk, but it is 10.6.0, and I wasn't even able to make that boot into the Mac installer when I installed OSX on the new hard drive.  I had to run my Macbook as a Firewire disk plugged into a Mac Pro and install it from there and update to 10.6.8.  I think this was because the 10.6.0 install disk doesn't have drivers for my 2010 revision of the Macbook Pro.  I doubt that the 10.6.0 disk has the right Windows drivers if it doesn't even have the right Mac drivers.

  • Where do I get HP8753ES drivers for Labview 8.2?

    Hello,
I am in the process of updating some Labview code to 8.2. Where do I find drivers for the HP8753ES that is compatable with Labview 8.2? I looked at the NI website and the drivers listed are for Labview 8.0, will they work with Labview 8.2? There are also "project style" of drivers, is there a difference?
    Regards,
    Kaspar
    Regards,
    Kaspar

I don't know why you think you 'have' to use the plug&play driver instead of the project style but there is no subVI called HP8753 Collect Data and none of the VIs in the driver call a function called HP8753 Collect Data. There is a subVI called HP8753 Collect and Display Data. What exactly are you doing that you cannot find a subVI? Do you have the driver functions on your palette? Where exactly did you place the unzipped folder. If you have done the installation correctly, you will have a palette just like the one below and there is no need to search for anything. They will just be there.

  • Reinstalled Windows 7 where do I get the drivers without the DVD?

Ok so install this I have is f'd up and stopped working for no reason at all and when I put it in the CD drive just goes CRAZY and makes a lot of weird noises, I eject it right away but the other CD/DVDs work fine so it's not my drive, its the actual CD
I have a freshly installed windows 7 but I do not have the drivers for it.
How do I install them without my dvd? Can you provide links, thank you

    Hi,
sorry to say, but the only legal source of the BootCamp 3.0 Drivers is the Snow Leopard DVD.
No other legal way to get the 3.x Drivers.
If the OSX Install DVD does not work with with your SuperDrive you can either call Apple and ask for replacements, which is what I would do since the OSX DVD also plays a vital part in troubleshooting your MBP if needed.
Or if you have access to another WIndows PC plus an USB-Memory Stick you can copy the full BootCamp Windows content from the OSX DVD to the Memory Stick and then again back on your BootCamp Windows partition and run the Driver Setup from these files and folders.
    Regards

  • I want to use a Brother 5150D laser printer with my MacBP. Where can I get appropriate drivers please?

    Hi,
First post here and my first Mac. I have a Brother 5150D laser printer currently being used on a Windows l/top. A great printer and I would like to link it up to the MB Pro. I have tried a few sites but no joy in getting a driver for linking it to the Mac. Any tips gratefully received.

  • Where can I get missing drivers for cd/dvd on ibook

I got this apple lab top and the cd doesn't work, because the driver is missing.  Also, I put in an airport card and can't access internet,  I can't seem to configure it.  It says it's on, but hasn't joined a network, my network is on the list, but when I go to put in wpa/wpa2 and put in the pass word, it does not accept it.  Can someone help me on finding the drivers for this cd and how to configure my airport card.  Bill
This is about the best I could do to give you my ibook specs:
    Model Family:
    iBook G3
    Display: 12.1"
    Processors: My procesor is 600mhz
    600MHz G3 (PowerPC 750FX)
    700MHz G3 (PowerPC 750FX)
    800MHz G3 (PowerPC 750FX)
    900MHz G3 (PowerPC 750FX)
    Memory: 128MB PC100 SODIMM

    May 20, 2002 - Oct 22, 2003
    Wireless:
Optional: Can't access internet with my airport card
    Color(s): White
Original OS: My os is Mac OS X 10.1.4
Mac OS 9.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.1.4
Battery: My battery dies very fast. It dies after leaving it unplugged for a few minutes. So always have to leave it plugged in.
47-watt-hour removable/ Needs a new battery, because it dies when I unplug it.
    PowerBook4,3
    Resolution:
    1024x768
    Matte
    Graphics:
    ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 (16MB)
    ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 (32MB)
    ATI Rage Mobility 128 (16MB)

Do you have the original system CDs that came with the iBook when it was new?
Do you have access to another Mac which is equipped with FireWire?
With an iBook this old, it could be that the optical drive, itself, has failed.
Also, please note that that model originally had a CD-ROM drive, so it is not equipped to read DVDs unless the drive has been replaced.

  • So where did I get those voices from...

After a recent hard drive meltdown, and the insanity of not having a back up, I have finally installed all my jam packs for garageband again. However, upon opening a song that I had saved, there are a few voices that are now missing (?) The only extra voices I ever had were from Apple Jam packs, so I'm not sure what has happened here.
As an example, some of the voices that are missing are Live Classical Piano, Echo Piano, Silicon Strings, Tremolo Whirly, and Vibrophone.
Does anyone recognise these voices, and can possibly tell me which jam pack they are on?

Should anyone else have the same query, these are from the initial Garage Band Jam Pack - full details of which can be found here:

  • Where can i get the macbook pro (2010) bootcamp drivers for windows 7?

I recently decided to install windows 7 ultimate (32-bit) on my macbook pro (2010 model). However my macbook did not come with installation disks, i know this for a fact and it came pre installed with 10.6. And when i try to download the windows support files through bootcamp assistant, it says that the download cannot continue. So where can i get these drivers from?

All MBP's with Snow Leopard (10.6) came with an installaton disc, and that is where the drivers are, if you don't have (or didn't get) the disc contact Apple for a replacement, there is no downloadable version of BC3

  • Solaris 8 on a v440 where do I get drivers for older solaris version?

I have a db cluster of v880s on Solaris 8. I need to temporarily move the database to a v440. I created a flash archive on the v880s and, of course, it didn't work after installing (got tod error and couldn't boot). I know this is because it is too old a version of Solaris. My question is, can I apply the new drivers to the v880 and then create a new flar image? If so, where do I get the drivers? Also, is there any way to apply the drivers to a system that has been imaged already with a flar from a v880? Can I apply them as a post-install script under jumpstart? Can I somehow boot from cdrom and then apply them? Any information would be greatly appreciated. This is a fairly urgent matter as we have a firm date with movers that can't be changed.

Hmm, the V440 is a quite old box as well, so it should work with Solaris 8 7/03 or older.
There are three alternatives as far as i can see:
1: What version of Solaris 8 are you using? If you are using 7/03 or later it should be sufficent if you booted the V440 into singleuser mode (from cd/dvd or network) mounted the disk and ran devfsadm -R on it.
2: If the Solaris 8 would be older than 7/03, you should, as far as i can see, be able to install the flar archives from your jumpstart, and then boot of a Solaris 8 7/03 (or later) cd and run an upgrade from it.
3: Apply the following patches, either to your 880 before you create the image, or to your V440 after installing the flar (you would have to apply the patches from single-user as mentioned inn step 1, it should be possible to add the patches from a jumpstart image using the patchadd -R command).

  • Windows 7 graphics card errors with games - how do I get/update drivers??

Just recently installed windows 7 with bootcamp and having some issues with games and screen savers. Most of the screen savers that come with 7 say I need a video card compatible with Direct3D. Secondly, 2 games that I want to play (minecraft and terraria) both give me graphics card errors. Minecraft works fine on the OS X side but says I should update my graphics card drivers. Terraria says the graphics card does not support Direct3D. How/where do I get these drivers or how/where do I update them? The graphics card I have is NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, running on a MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2009 model.

And you tried the Nvidia drivers, no.
