Where do i go homepage layout on a 3510e printer

HELP....when I print one page i get two...how do i set up page layout for a 3510e allin one printer

Hello puterjunkie,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see you are looking to adjust printing settings for the Deskjet 3510. What is the Operating System installed on the computer you are printing with, Windows or Mac?
It sounds like you are looking for the "fit to page" option, this can be found it different locations depending on the program you are printing from. Typically, when you go File> Print, you want to select preferences and select "fit to page" or "Scale to paper size". <--- If using Windows.
On Mac, File> Print, under Paper Handling you want to select "Scale to fit paper size".
Cheers,
JERENDS

  • My homepage layout customization

    Hello,
I added a Global Web Applet to the Homepage of all my company's users, through the admin_My homepage layout, but I met the following issue : when a user didn't customized at all his personal homepage, through the Edit Layout link, the Global Web Applet that I added previously is properly displayed. But when a user has already customized his homepage, the Global Web Applet is not displayed directly on his homepage, but is just available on his Available Sections, after clicking the Edit Layout link.
I need to communicate something to all of the company's users, and I would like to displayed automaticaly the Global Web Applet on all users homepages, even if they previously changed their layout.
Could someone provide me a workaround ?
    Thanks and regards

    Hi !
Unfortunately, if you gave your user the possibility to customize their layouts, you won't be able to reset them to the default one you defined. I'll suggest to use the Alert to cummunicate about your new available section, and to tell them to click on Edit layout, then on reset to default.
Hope this will help, feel free to ask more !

  • Where do I find the Adobe pdf 9.0 printer description file and how do I install it?

Where do I find the Adobe pdf 9.0 printer description file and how do I install it? Operating system is Windows 7 and I have Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 installed. Adobe Acrobat X Pro just updated to version 10.1.8

    Hi. Thanks for the replyl
I'm in prepress, working mainly with Quark XPress for advertising files and with Word, Photoshop, everything, for many years. My older computer is the workhorse with Quark 6.5 and CS4 and OSX 10.4.11. Everything is set up for me to produce PDF x1a files by printing .ps files from Quark and Word, and InDesign.
My newer computer, OSX 10.9.4, must now be used to a greater extent. So I have Quark 9 and 10 and now Creative Suite for the Cloud. But I don't have any Adobe PDF printer which I select when I print .ps files and place into my Distiller Watched Folder. I by pass selecting the Adobe PDF printer in Word and just print straight to .ps. The .ps file just sits in the Watched Folder and no longer flows into Distiller, processed and out. Is this the way of the future? I just want a smooth, fast flow for PDF's. I want them to be PDF x1a compliant for hi-quality printing.
Thought you might help to give me info as to how one uses Distiller (or not) with the new operating system and latest programs. Can't seem to find any info as of yet by searching the Adobe FAQ's and the Internet in general.
    Thanks alot.

where can I find my proxy address and the printer code on the HP officejet 8500A Plus

    Hi TanaS,
I understand that you're trying to setup ePrint.  Most users when setting up ePrint do not require entering a proxy address.
Are you having trouble setting up ePrint?
Are you getting an error message when you try to setup ePrint?

  • Where can I learn page layout design?

I'm looking for a book, or a website course that will teach me the principles and theory of good layout design. Can anybody recommend any good resources for me?

I can't recommend a book, but it will help a lot to study actual layouts: magazine ads and story or article pages, newsletters you receive, etc. Notice what looks good to you and what looks "not good." See how headlines are used in newspapers, magazine articles and the like. In other words, open your eyes to design where ever you go and whatever you see. Become aware of design in nature, on billboards ... design is all around you. You're immersed in it whether you know it or not. Some of it is good and some of it is bad. Ask yourself "why?"
Someone, I'm sure, will recommend a book, but never stop looking!
    Good wishes,

  • Where to download the Advanced Layout Designer (ALD)?

    Hi everyone,
I've read a lot about the Advanced Layout Designer, and would like to try using it rather than the PLD I've been using. However, I've searched and searched but see no mention of where to download this add-on. Could someone please provide me with the link? We are on SBO 2007A, SP:00, PL:42.
    Thanks for any help!

    Hi
Please note the server 'websmp204' may not work all the time as everytime you connect to SAP page you are direct to one of SAP server.
I do recommend to use the generic path:
    https://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/ald
Anyway to download the ALD or any SAP B1 patches you can go direct to 'Software Distribution Center' -> choose update -> the version you want and you will find the ALD.

  • Just downloaded Firefox 4, and am missing an entire view line, No where to put my homepage. Ho w can I get it back??

I had the line before and miss it terribly. Is there somewhere to get the view line which has the place for homepage and I guess there are even more applications I would be able to use. Help!

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page.
    browser.gesture.pinch.in cmd_fullZoomReduce
    browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift cmd_fullZoomReset
    browser.gesture.pinch.out cmd_fullZoomEnlarge
    browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift cmd_fullZoomReset
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

  • Lr4 and Blurb layouts are different when printed

    Hi all,
I've recently received a printed photo book from Blurb, I did the layout in LR4 on the "book" module and then sent it to Blurb to be printed.
There were a couple of double page photos and obviously i set all the photos out with complimentary photos on facing pages.
However I just received the book from Blurb and the pages are all pushed forward (or back) a page so the double page spreads are now half a photo on the same page but opposing sides and the rest of it has been all thrown out also....
The LR4 layout has the pages numbered and facing each other starting with 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 etc as I would expect, however my book is 1, 2-3, 4-5 etc so 1 is facing the cover sheet.
Blurb are saying that it's either due to Flash and Java not being up to date (which they are) or sending the file over a wireless connection and I should try hard cabling....this makes no sense to me as a connection isn't responsible for page numbering.
They have been good enough to print the book again but I need to know how to get around this problem before so. Anyone had a similar experience or know where I'm going wrong?
There are some pics so you can see the problem....the first 3 are from the Blurb preview and final printed book...the last 3 are screenshots from the LR layout showing how I would assume the double page spreads and other photos would turn out....
I did preview the book on the Blurb website (just out of interest) after I had uploaded and ordered it, it was the same as the printed book, before the printing process began I ask Blurb suport to check it for me and resolve it but they didn't know how it was going to look for some reason or didn't quite understand the problem...one person was trying to tell me how to put actual page numbers onto the book....
Anyway, all and any help appreciated...

No. In both cases, the TIFs were simply placed into the document and left untouched from that point forward.

  • Preparing a document in correct layout to send to print

I am creating a 50 page catalogue in InDesign. How do I set it up so it is cotrrect layout for print - should the pages be on single sheets , facing or set up so the layout is correct for when it is stapled ie. page 1 next to page 50 (It is an A5 catalogue with designs that bleed onto each set of facing pages) Hope this makes sense - feeling a little frazzled after trying to work this out for hours. Please help!! Thanks

yes, that is where I was setting it up - File>Print Booklet>Print Settings. I had it saved when I originally created the document (a few months ago), but had some computer problems and had to reinstall and the presets got wiped out. :(
When I look at 'preview' in the 'print booklet' window, it looks correct (8.5x11 facing pages fit onto 11x17) with the setup as: paper size 11x17, landscape, 100% scale (not fit). Then the printing preferences for the printer (KonikaMinolta C451) set as 'Original Orientation', portrait, 'Original Size', 11x17 - I thought this should be 8.5x11 but when I switch it the 'print booklet' preview is wrong - back and forth, back and forth.
Everytime I switch any settings it comes out all wrong (shrunken, flipped, backwards...).
    Any thoughts on that?
    Thanks!

  • In BI Publisher RTF table layout issue for invoice printing

    Hi,
I am working on check printing and invoice printing project on bi publisher and i am facing one issue. That is i have used section break on check priting so because of that if the the records are more than 20 then check will print on second page and on first page there would be void printed othervise it should print on first page only. In this case the preprinted stationary is not having invoice table form. we are using blank preprinted stationary to print this .
Now i have done with invoice and cheque layout but in output if the number of records are more than 20 then its going to second page but the problem is that invoice table break into two parts and and the end lineof table layout is not coming on first page .even on second page i am not getting start layout line to make complete table outline.
I want that full table layouton both the pages of the table. i have tried to to create table skeleton and used it as a watermark to print all the records on it but it is coming in to the middle of the page .so it not working.
Please anyone knows the solution on this problem please let me know or share your thoughts on this issue.
As i have tried many options but still stuck into this issue .Kindly help me.
    Regards,
    Prachi G.

Hmmm ... sounds like a regression bug.
I would contact support, provide, the version you are using, layout template, sample XML data, 2000 RTF output and 2003 RTF output and ask them to investigate.

  • Layout orientation problem when printing 2-sided InDesign booklet from pdf file

I created a booklet (layout, letter-half) and it prints correctly directly from the .indd file. When I convert it to a pdf and print from that file, the back-sided pages get reversed and print up-side down. In other words, pages 1 & 8 are fine, but back-sided pages 2 & 7 print in reversed order and upside-down. (The pdf file itself looks fine). I have tried to trouble-shoot everywhich way--from conversion level to printer level--but I can't get this to work. Any help? Tips? Thanks.

    Hi Doreen,
At 250 copies it may well be less expensive in consumables and time to have a quick print place to print this. Around here I would use my local FedEx Office. But I would also contact the offset/digital printer establishment I have used for years. A lot of the time they can match or beat the price and they do a better job.
    Take care, Mike

  • Where does Word pick up colour preferences from when printing to a pdf?

Hi there, I work in a studio with a dozen Macs. We do a lot of bid and tender work creating high volumes of pdf documents from Word.
The issue is that even when using the same process to create a pdf from different machines (Command-P, then the pdf drop-down to 'save as pdf') the colours print differently depending on which machine the pdf was created on.
Can you tell me where the machine picks up its preferences to create a pdf from Word so we can ensure each machine is the same?

Print > Adobe PDF Printer would invoke the Preferences for the Adobe PDF printer
From the Control Panel and/or Printers and Faxes, select the Properties for the Adobe PDF printer
I surprised myself by selecting (right click) Printing Preferences first and then (right click) selecting Properties > Advanced > Preferences; I have different options enabled in the screen shot below.

  • Where define a report does not go directly to printer ?

    Hi
I have a program wich generates a report list in screen. When this program is executed in job (batch) for one user, the report is automaticaly sended to printer.
Where is this configured ? If the user has a configuration so his reports are automaticaly printed ; is there a way in the program to define the report does not be sended to the printer until the user manually send it ?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
In the user settings he might have configured to have output immediately..
in the menu ...System -> user profile -> own data..
In the Defaults tab in the output controller section...you have a check box which says output immediately..
Please check the same in that user if the output immediately is set..
    THanks

  • Trying to layout a photo for printing in iPhoto '09

I'm fairly new to a Mac and iPhoto and have been trying to get a photo to print half-size on an A4 sheet of paper and can't seem to do it. I'm using A4 photo paper and just want to re-size and layout a photo so it only takes up half the A4 sheet (i.e. A5) and then put another beside it to take up the other half. Previously on a PC and with PaintShopPro I could just resize and rotate photos so they were laid out on a page just the way I wanted them. Is this possible in iPhoto '09 or do I need to buy Aperture, Photoshop elements or PaintShopPro in order to do this?
    Thanks

You want to print two photos on an A4 page, right?
1 - select the two photos and click on Print.
2 - set Page size to A4 borderless
3 - set Print size to Custom
    4 - enter a width of A4's width less .25" and length to A4/2 less .25".
That should give you 2 photos per page with a minimal white border. If you try to set the width to exactly the width of the A4 page and exactly half the length it will revert to 1 photo per page. You can experiment with the .25" dimension a bit and might be able to get it a bit larger.
