My iphone got stolen in the city and I live upstate I have far too much information to just let it go
what can I do to get it back ?

If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can try wiping it. Otherwise, the only other thing you can do is report it the police (and your insurance company if it's covered) and start changing your passwords and other sensitive info sored on it.

So, as i said, my iphone got stolen like a month ago, and i purchased a new one.
I downloaded other apps in this new iphone and i think i did an error by syncing it with itunes as it seems that it doesn't have all the other apps i downloaded on the other iphone.

My iPhone was stolen. Straight away I used the findmyiphone app. No surprise that the phone had been turned off, rendering the app totally useless.
I thought its ok, I've got a pin code. My brother then goes on to tell me that they are easily bypassed.
My brother states that if you put an iPhone in dfu mode, connect that iPhone too iTunes
That iTunes detects the said phone is in dfu mode and does a system restore.

My iPhone got stolen, and i have very important info in it (more than 600 contacts 2000 photos, notes and emails) luckly i made a backup couple of weeks before it got stolen, how can i get access to the backup and use on other phone, now am using a used BlackBerry temporarly until i get my phone back throw the police or buy a new iPhone end of Septmber.
even if its not possible to restore the iPhone backup into a BlackBerry, i just want to be able to access the info on the PC.

Best thing to do is report it to your network, and the police. Give both the IMEI number, and get it blocked. If you give police the IMEI number, then if they finnd it, you hould get it back. Also, check local second hand stores, all those that pay cash for phones. Take your IMEI with you, like the box, and you can either call the police upon finding it, or, you may even get it returned.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, & Find My Phone turned on/activated, then phone cannot be re-activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored.

So recently, my iPhone got stolen, and the theif wiped all the data and information and put his icloud information (io7) on it, the police found the phone and handed it over but then his information is on the phone and i can't get past activation, so my question is, how do I get past it?
Do I ask the police for a report and go to Apple? Because I heard apple dosen't do it?
Or can I use some software to do it?

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. Unfortunately this has sort of worked in reverse for you. You have no alternative. No must get the Apple ID and password the thief used in order to use the device. If the thief will not provide this info you will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

My iPhone 3GS got stolen this week and I had "FindmyiPhone" (iOS 5.0.1) configured, but when I try to locate my iPhone it will show up as "offline".
I've once heared you can trace your iPhone by an EMEI or UPC number or something like that.
Do you guys know more about that so I can trace down my iPhone and can show it the police?

I just got my macbook pro stolen last night. the theive opened it and I got the email from findmyiphone. I can see which house it is at, but the thing is cops can't help. Im still watching it on my iphone waiting for them to ope it again so I can see its location. But Im already ****** as $%#% because 911 told me that they cant keep following a missing laptop.
so that was my story, right now my macbook is showing as red also. But keep watching it because they have to turn it on eventually and as long as you check email me when found on icloud.com then you will get an email. Or you can also keep watching on your computer.
So again go on icloud.com and sign in with the itunes account/email that you use on your iphone, you'll see the find my iPhone option there!

My iphone got stolen and i went to find my iphone on my ipod to remote lock it and i remote locked it about 5 times and it says it will send a email when the iphone has been locked but i never got a email does that mean the thief has went to itunes

Details: My iPhone 4 was stolen and I activated Lost Mode on iCloud. A lot of time has passed and I've given up the chance of getting it back. My question is this. I'm trying to back up a new iPhone with my old phones data that I saved on iTunes backups. When I try to back up my new phone with the stolen phone's data, it says I must first disable Lost Mode before I can do this. Since the phone was stolen, I can't use the phone to disable Lost Mode and I'm if I go to iCloud and remove the device permanantly from "my devices" I'm afraid it will delete my iTunes backup for that phone and all the data I'm trying to transfer to the new phone. Does that make sense? How can I turn off "Lost Mode" without deleting my iTunes backup for my phone that was stolen so that I can back up my new iPhone with my old phone's back up file on iTunes?

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off

Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
