Hi, I recently purchased a new Macbook. My last one had the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Photoshop installed on it that I purchased and recently failed on me. I moved to a new state for graduate school and left many of my things back home, including the Photoshop CS5 disc. I have the serial code on me, but I need to install the program again, and fast. How can I do this without the disc?

I had the exact same issue, being on a mac. If you are on a mac and the connection error message occurs, then use this link http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg
It allows you to download it offline, which is what I used.

I bought the disk version for £400+ but it's for Mac, I no longer have Mac and therefore want to install it on my PC. What I thought would be a simple download is turning into a nightmare. I cannot even find just a trial version. I don't want to download CS6, because I don't have the money to waste to purchase the whole set again. Tessa, if you orignially got CS5 from the Adobe online store, you can log on again, and the link will be there in your Orders page. I don't know how it works if you started with the DVD, but John sounds like he has sorted you out.

I'll add a me-too for backing up. I lost a raid0 array a month or so ago, and it had hundreds of hours of video editing on it. (time invested - not edited video) I had a nearly up to date copy on another drive, but I also run Shadow Protect which can be set to record changes to the backed up drives every 15 minutes as a background process. You can also make a virtual copy of your boot drive, and a bood CD that will have you up and running five minutes after a complete boot drive failure. One of the best $100 I ever spent. You don't even know it is there until you need it.

Hi, I am now living overseas and want to deregister a Windows copy of Photoshop CS5.5 extended on my laptop and re-install it on another but I do not have my instalation disks with me. Thanks for your continued help and I understand why you might be exasperated with me because of the openning headline being about CS6 but I did scroll down and in various ways tried to navigate to CS5 but in every case, no matter which route I took, all linkes (though they purported to point to CS5) now point to CS6. Is there any other solutiion?
