Where do I go to find a note that I deleted

Others have submitted this question but there are no answers reflected

There is no "undelete" function on the iPhone.  Unless you backed it up by syncing it with iTunes to Mail on a Mac or with Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 on a PC, your only option to recover it would be to restore your phone to a backup of your phone made while the note was still on it.  (If you have synced your phone again since losing the note this backup is already overwritten and the note can't be recovered.)  Also, restoring to a backup reverts all settings and data on the phone to those contained in the backup.  If you wish to do this, do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer, go to Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar, select Restore from Backup, select your most recent backup to restore from.
When done, go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing.

Do you have a backup of your iPhone?   If so, do a restore and whatever Notes were backed up should reappear.
You will lose any changes made since that backup though.

Try to get them from the person who forced you to not to back up your phone, import photos to your computer, or store them in a cloud service (like Dropbox),

How do I restore NOTES that were deleted during an itunes sync from Mac mini to iPhone 5?

I should mention that my notes were not being sent to icloud, my mac's time machine was not set up, and my latest back-up was 3 months ago.

  • 'Notes' that wont delete

I'm falling foul of the jittery Notes addition to Mail. For some reason, I can't delete a Note that's stored in 'Notes - On My Mac'. I can't move it, I can't do anything with it. I've looked in Home>Library>Mail>Mailboxes>Notes and there's nothing there. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it or where the file might be kept so I can trash the thing? Also, which is probably why this has happened as something else might be going on, I couldn't switch back from storing messages On My Mac to storing them In My Inbox despite the settings in preferences clearly saying that messages will be stored 'in the previously viewed mailbox' and the correct box is ticked in mailbox behaviours. What on earth is going on?
Many thanks in advance for your thoughts...

Apple Technical Support resolved this issue for me by dumping the file <com.apple.mail.plist> from the Preferences Folder in Library and setting up Mail from scratch again. WARNING: Be sure to drag your mail folders which contain your emails to the desktop first or you will loose your emails! You can then bring these folders back in after Mail is back up and running. Also, make a note of all your mail prefs like pop3 or smtp servers, usernames and passwords BEFORE you do this as you'll need all that info to set Mail up again too just like you did when you first got your computer.

  • Where do I find the notes that were supposed to be synched on the computer

I just did a restore and my notes did not sync...the notes from the iPad were moved to the iphone...they must be hidden somewhere on the computer hard drive....anyone know how to find them?

Notes is included on the back up w/c you cannot view directly to your computer because it is an encrypted file and if you're using Windows you may use Windows Outlook to view those notes or if Mac it will be synced on your Mail app as long as you're using the Mail app on your Mac.

  • Where do I go to find saved forms that I created?

Help!!! I spent all this time making my form and now I want to retrieve it!  Where do I go?

    Hi k.k.,
Did you use FormsCentral to create the file, or Acrobat? If you used FormsCentral, you'll find your form in your account at Adobe FormsCentral.
If you were using Acrobat, and saved the PDF file, it would've saved to whatever folder you last saved a PDF into. If you choose File > Open Recent File in Acrobat, your PDF form should be listed on the recent files list,

  • Icons in finder do not disappear when deleted

This is kind of hard to describe, but my finder's been acting really strange lately. Everytime i delete a file or folder in the finder the icon will not disappear completely, leaving some of the name of the file in the finder. This is really annoying, and it makes it look like the file is still there, even though it's been deleted.
If I just click one time on any of the icons, only the first line of the file's name will be selected, which makes it hard to read the file's name. Ive been searching the forums for an answer to this issue, but I still havent found anything.
    Any ideas? thanks in advance

  • HT4528 How can I find a Note I accidentally deleted? Is there a recycle bin for Notes?

I am missing the note I made that was like a journal. I did not delete it but it isn't showing up in my list. I think it may have been accidentally deleted. Is there any chance of recovery?

Here are the methods to recover deleted notes from iPhone:
    Restore with iCloud backup
    Restore with iTunes backup
    Extract from iCloud or iTunes backup using an iPhone backup extractor;
Recover directly from iPhone using an iPhone data recovery app.

  • Is there a way to recover notes that were deleted after turning off icloud?

I recently turned off the "notes" app from iCloud so that my iphone 5 wouldn't send those notes to all my devices. I didn't know it until quite some time later, but all of my notes are now gone. I vaguely recall seeing an email of the notes, but I can't find that email whatsoever. I tried turning the iCloud notes option back on in hopes it would reinstate in the iPhone, but no dice. I am sure that I have backed up the phone on itunes since they were deleted since it was set to auto backup when I connected my phone to my Macbook Pro. Any ideas on how, if at all possible, to recover these notes? Why did they delete at all?!

If it wasn't on the device when you last backed up then no, it's gone.  If it was backed up, you would have to reset the device (deleting all data on it) and perform a restore from the backup.

  • Can I recover notes that were deleted upon the removal of an email account?

I recently deleted the e-mail account of a prior employer to which was associated most of my notes in the Note app.  I had no idea that notes were even associated with each email account, but now about 50% of what I was using is simply gone.  Ironically, that email account was no longer connected to the company server as I am working elsewhere, so no backup will exist there.  I do not have an itune backup recent enough to be of any value.  The icloud and gmail accounts each have some of their own notes, but none of them have the missing notes.
So, is there any signature left of the files in the physical memeory of my ipad?  If so, is there an app which will let me look for them.  To be honest, this is kind of disappointing for apple in that quite a few folks have no idea of the association, though I should have had some more recent itune backups.  Particularly since an inactive connection to the email server automatically implies there is no backup anywhere.  I wish I would have known that tidbit.

  • Finding clearing documnet that was deleted

I want to check for a specific line item if it was clearded before and to find the clearing documents
    that cleared it.
is there any table that present all the clearing document including those who were
deleted (with FBRA) ? and of coures what line items did they cleared?

    Hello,
You cannot delete any document in SAP except parked documents.
The function of FBRA is different and it is resetting and reversing the cleared documents.
Please let me know in more detail, so that I may be able to explain further.

  • How to restore Notes that were deleted

    Hello Apple Support Communities
I have recently used Notes to write down a very important phone number, then just got out of Notes.
When I came back, my note was gone, and there was practically nothing that had my phone number.
I was, and still am sure that I had saved the Note, and this grows into a bigger problem, as I do not use Time Machine.
What do I do know? Is there like a way to revive or restore Notes?
Please reply ASAP. I need this phone number urgently.
