Where do i go to make an appointment to get the Iphone 5 with telstra at the sydney apple store?

I am trying to make an appointment to get an iphone 5 under telstra contracts...
What do i click on? Genius bar? workshop or Business??
Plese help

You can just show up for a genius bar appointment, but it's best to make an appointment in advance. If the Apple stores in Italy are anything like the one's in the US, that means they are slammed...you may have to wait several hours if you don't have an appointment.

If the genius bar in your location is like the one's where I live, you won't be able to see a genius without an appointment. The genius bars, where I live, are full several days in advance. You can make an appointment online, & don't be late!

I bought an iPad and want to make sure it's on the same apple account but my phone always come up with a different apple Id?

Remember - if you bought any apps with another ID you cannot update them with a different ID.
Try changing the ID in the App Store. Tap on Featured - swipe to the bottom of the screen - tap on the ID in the bottom left corner - and see if you can change it that way.
If that doesn't work, sign out of your account altogether, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
I guess I should ask - what ID is it coming up with and why is it coming up with that ID?

Open iTunes and then connect you to the iTunes store
and on the right you will see "Purchased"
and it will show you all the app that you have purchase during the years , and on right corner of the page you can choose to download everything again

I have the DPC3939 modem, and want to know if there is anything I need to do to make sure I am getting the new speed increase in our area

Powercycle it with the backup battery removed (if it has one installed).

  • About two weeks ago, it would randomly shut off. It would restart fine, but shut off sooner. Sometimes, it wouldn't even restart. Now, it's at the point where when I power it on, it rarely restarts past the white apple start-up screen. mbp mid 2012 i7

Backup in case your disk is failing.
Start up in Safe Mode;  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14204?viewlocale=en_US
If it boots reliably in Safe Mode then it is probably a software issue.
    Reset PRAM: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
Boot in Recovery Mode.  (Hold down the Command (⌘) and R keys as your computer restarts.)  Run Disk Utility.  Click on the upper left system disk icon.  Does S.M.A.R.T. report “Verified”?  If not the disk is failing and will need to be replaced.  Click on the icon underneath and indented to the right, usually called “Macintosh HD”.  Repair Disk.  It should finish normally with a green OK message.  If it does not try to repair it again.
If it will not finish with the green OK message then use Disk Utility to erase the drive and then reinstall OS X.  (Be sure you have a backup before erasing the disk.  Post back if you need instructions on how to do that.)
If it repaired all errors and is still not booting normally, reinstall OS X.
If it is still sick after all these steps then the disk probably needs to be replaced.  You can do that inexpensively and fairly easily yourself or take it to an Apple store for them to do it for you at a higher cost.  If it is still under warranty or AppleCare have Apple do it for you for free.  Post back if you need instructions on replacing the disk.  You may want to have Apple check the health of the system and disk before replacing it yourself.

  • Can i make an appointment for update the macbook pro

Hi I use to have a macbook I brought from China that when i came to US i want to instal for new edition in the store, dose i have pay any fee for that? if not, i want to make an appointment for instal it. thanks.

You can buy the upgrade in the store using their wireless network (normal upgrade fee would apply--$19.99 US). I'm not sure if you could use a wired connection.
Using the wireless would not require an appointment, but you could make one with the Genius bar to have them help you.
What model MacBook is it? Here are the minimum requirements:

  • Do you have to make an appointment to have your iphone replaced?

For those who have gotten there iphone replaced at the apple store...
I'm in sort of a rush to replace my broken iphone. So I was wondering is it mandatory to schedule an appointment with the genius bar or could i just walk in and tell them my problem and have it replaced. Reason being is I plan on taking a bus all the way to the another city tomorrow just to get it fixed. But it would be pointless if they tell me I had to schedule one before they take a look at it once I get there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If there is an Apple store nearby, it is best to make an appointment. Having to take a bus to another city doesn't sound like there is an Apple store nearby.
Or you can call AppleCare at (800) 694-7466 and handle everything over the phone. If it is determined that your iPhone needs to be exchanged under warranty, AppleCare will ship the exchange to your door. You must provide a credit card number in case your existing iPhone is not returned. You use the same box that is used to ship the exchange to return your existing iPhone. The return shipping label is located below the shipping label to you along with a phone number for the carrier to call when the box is ready to be picked up. A small paperclip is included to remove the SIM card from your existing iPhone, and tape to reseal the box.

  • Do you need to make a appointment to replace the charger?

Can I just walk into a apple store to replace my charger cord or will I have to make a appointment?

    Make an appointment.

  • Dropped phone run a business all Apple products have to make an appointment to get a solution Disappointing service as either need a new screen or replacement not really technical experience needed Am I being unfair

Dropped phone have smashed screen  have Applecare 2 insurance so took into Apple store for either replacement or repair All prepared but not Apple I have to make an appointment next available appointment is Tuesday when Im working and not in town so now have to travel to appointment at Apple store in London
I get that if you have a technical issue you need to make appointment why can't Apple have an easily accessible service for cracked screen if people are covered

I believe his biggest grip here is not the cost of the replacement screen, but the need to make a Genius Bar appointment and not being able to be taken care of in a walk-in basis.
Unfortunately for the OP, not everyone in the Genius Bar is trained for screen replacement, and the technicians that are can be waiting on customers that have other issues. The ability to dedicate a single person for screen purposes does not make good business sense, for what would they be doing if there were no screens to repair. If you say to other technical diagnosis/repair, then if they were busy and someone came in, then they would have to wait, and you would be right back in the same place you are now, needing to make an appointment.

  • Where to install an SSD and best way to get the OS onto it

I have a brand new Pavilion 500-281 with Win 7. I bouight a 128 GB solid state drive to load the OS onto it.  Where can I mount it inside the chassis? There don't seem to be any conventional drive bays.It came with an adapter plate with screws, but it isn't obvious where I could mount the thing!
Also, can I simply run a restore to get the OS onto the SSD once I get it installed?  I got instructions with the SSD for ADATA software to copy an image of the drive, but all I want is the OS.  I'm dying to start using my new computer, but I figure I want to get the drive installed first before I make any changes to it.
    This question was solved.

    Hi,
Review message #8 in this thread.  Not all models of the Pavilion 500-2xx are provisioned for the SSD in the location as shown.  In the shown installation, an adapter plate was not necessary.
Most of the SSD manufacturers have free migration software.  I suggest that you image the entire HD, all partitions even the hidden partitions.  Some of the newer migration software will allow you to exclude your data folders.

  • ICAL seems to be in a loop.  I cannot add a new appointment; I get the message displayed at the top of the screen "updating"  My Iphone 5s and my MacBook Air are syncing.  All 3 devices are on iCloud.

ICal is frozen, cannot post new appointments.  I can post appts on Mac Air and Iphone 5s...they are syncing thru Icloud but the MacBook Pro is stuck.  I get  the message updating...that has been going for several hours.  How can I reset ICal?  I have already forece-quit, shut down, and closed...none seem to clear the problem.

When you next have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
