i would like to see the apple tv 2g softwear updated so that the apple tv will group all my tvshows seasons under one name or to add a catgory tab to it. i have alot of tv show seasons(simpsons 16 season, smallville 10 seasons ex) it is really annoying having to go through each season of show till i find the one i am looking for.

I assumed iOS 6 would be available to the Apple TV at the same time as the idevices, but it doesn't seem to be.

ATV iOS updates don't happen for a while after other iDevices. The iOS beta for ATV hasn't hit GM yet and may do so soon.

Where is the downloads section in settings for apple tv

i recently rented a movie and selected rent and play now. i then accidently pressed the menue button instead of play but when i try to find it on the apple tv i cant find it anyway. i cant even find the downloads section in settings.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

The solution listed below by someone worked for me just now - when the movie I rented all of a sudden didn't show up and I was told to go to "downloads" - which we all know doesn't exist in the current settings menu - I just went to the iTunes section under Settings then logged out and logged back in.
Then all of a sudden the RENTED option was back in the left hand corner and there was my rental. If you don't see a RENTED section just search for the movie title of the film you just rented and hopefully it recognizes it as rented and you should just be able to hit PLAY. Good luck come on though Apple let's fix this - this has happened with the last 4 films I've rented.

Submit updates for Apple Maps

I'm looking to make updates to Apple Maps more substantial than the built-in reporting tool for the app. Does Apple have a web-based reporting tool so I can track my request and/or discuss with a technician the best course of action? The building address for my companies location is incorrect and is currently not searchable on Apple Maps.
I've looked around on the community forums a bit, but the majority of threads are related to issues with the Maps application and not error-reporting resources.
Also there doesn't seem to be a category for Maps-specific issues, so I've selected the iPad community for such a question.

Just got off the phone with AppleCare and Technical Support and the roundabout answer to my original question is: No, app submission process is more or less the only method of sending update requests. You can open a case ID with tech support in parallel just to have something to check up on, but it's likely not worth it since it probably won't be updated on their end.
In regards to that strange reply and link - Nobody at Apple had any idea what that site was or how that reply got to me. We looked up the bogus case number and it had nothing to do with what I had initially reported. I took all of the information I could and submitted it to Apple feedback (per recommendation from the AppleCare tech). If I get any more info on what exactly happened with the malicious emails I'll post it here.

The connector used on the Mac mini is as you say a figure of 8, the official designation being IEC C7.
It is my experience standard C7 power leads work with no problems, see the following as an example one I believe meets your requirements, a 2M one is also available on Amazon.

Where to submit feedback for iBooks?

Anytime I've wanted to submit feedback for an Apple product, I've visited this page --> http://www.apple.com/feedback/
It provides the mechanism through which you select what you want to provide feedback for, and then simply fill out the form and submit. Unfortunately, no where on this page is the iBooks application listed. So there is no way to submit feedback for the iBooks application. I would have expected it to be listed under the "iOS Apps" heading, but there is nothing.
So if one wanted to provide feedback to Apple for iBooks, where would one do such a thing?

LAC : Applet not calling & Bidders not able to submit bids for Live Auction

I am working on SRM 5.O Live Auction Cockpit(LAC) facing couple of issues while accessing it :-
I have created Auction from Process Auction .Bidders are getting Auctions but unable to submit bids against that .
Whereas same bidders are able to submit bidds for Bid Invitation .
Have I missed any customisation ?Additionally following issues are there :-
1. In Restrictive Bid /Auctions bidders are not getting mail with URL details .
2. In LAC while clicking on Live Auction tab same screen is getting called .
Can you let me know will it require to install LAC componant once again ?

It is observed that LAJCO error"AbstractJcoService.execute(JcoServiceRequest _input, Locale _locale): Unknown exception has occurrsed. Error message is as follows...null" is generating . But in detailed messgae there is no clarity of issue in trace log.
Can anyon give more focus on it as we are stuck.

Anyway they have an online submission process that converts your .apk file to their .something file and so far I put one of my apps through it and it passed initial testing, I am still waiting on signing certificates to get it full submitted but I see one user is experiencing problems with it due to lack of an AIR plugin on the device.

Where can I get application development tool for iPad?
I am new apple user, and fascinated with iPad. Having computer science background at college, I am interested in developing simple game application to get started. Hopefully, I would like to put some games in app store in the future.
My iTune is in windows XP, and it may be the platform for development.

Actually, it is free to register at http://developer.apple.com/programs/register/ as a developer and download the SDK. The $99 fee only applies if you want to install your Apps on a real iOS device (instead of the simulator) or submit them for distribution on the AppStore.

If I toggle the button in the top right of the HUD it 'unlocks' and I can drag it to where I prefer -- at the left margin; (for over a decade) my dock has resided at the right margin so all my slider manipulation over countless editing sessions in Aperture has been ingrained to work at the left margin -- but, the vast majority of the time, the HUD overlaps the image I am editing in this 'unlocked' mode.
Every occasionally I enter Full Screen View and it positions on the left margin *without* superimposition...(!) My great joy is modulated into aggravation, however, should my tracking cursor drift all the way 'out of bounds' -- to call in the hidden pane of adjacent images sequenced in the library... This dramatically shrinks the Full Screen display and re-locks the HUD; if I toggle the switch to re-xpand the image it re-positions at the right margin!!!! I SOOoooooo wish I knew how to control the default 'locked' margin of the HUD in Full Screen View...

The only place that I know that you might could score a specific logic board is www.ifixit.com. They may be able to ship to your hotel.

I want to submit report for transaction LT23 based on the double click on a field in the output of my report. I am using selection table to pass values. The problem is I have something called dynamic selections. I am using some selection fields from the dynamic selection option. Can anyone tell me how do I pass the values in such a case?

NB: Use FREE_SELECTIONS_RANGE_2_EX to build the correct parameter texpr.

My daughter and I both have iphones. I created an account (not separate itunes) for her on my computer so she could sync her phone/itunes but not have it interfere with mine since we have WAY different taste in music. Creating a different computer profile should work if you have separate itunes accounts, too.
If you all use the same itunes account, you can turn on Home Sharing. That way you can all download the same content without having to pay for it again. Not sure how or if that works with separate itunes accounts.
