Hello Brian, We recently had a not-so-positive and then a positive experience with technical customer service. Out of the blue, we received messages that my daughter was at 75% of her data usage. She has 2 GB and has had that for 2 years without ever, ever going over. First call got us to Brian, who was very rude and simply said that Verizon is never responsible for the charges on a cell phone – it is always the customer’s fault. So, I asked for a Supervisor, which got me Thomas. Unfortunately Thomas had no clue and tried to tell that the charges were due to the update ESO8. Our phone had ESO7 and we didn’t update. He again was not helpful as he basically didn’t understand or want to. Then we got Annabell at Apple. She was very nice and talked me through the issue and possible problems with using that much data in basically 8 days. She then called Holly at Verizon who actually looked at the schedule of data usage and determined it to be downloads on specific days at specific times. Times like 16:48:57 to 17:48:57 – no one has conversations or uses data like that, but a download will. And downloads, of course, didn’t happen on wi-fi. Holly was wonderful. Helped us clean up the phone as we couldn’t tell exactly what was downloaded. Floated us 3 more GB of data until 10/8 when we go back to 2 GB. Jeff and Thomas should never be allowed to talk to your customers again. I was on the phone 2 full hours. If I felt I had a choice I would drop Verizon in a heartbeat. Shame on them. That’s it. How to leave feedback for a podcast?

Can someone show me how to leave a feedback for a podcast in the Apple's own Podcasts app?

I really don't think you can. I always go to the podcaster's web site and post feedback there. But I don't think that the Podcast app ( I use it for some podcasts but mostly use Downcast) or any other podcast app has the ability to upload feedback to the podcaster. Hope I am wrong, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Where do i provide feedback for the app store

I have a bug to report regarding the App Store, but there seems to be no place to do that. The closest is iTunes, but ever there the feedback areas don't cover the App Store.

Where do I give feedback for apple Support ?

I bought a MBP recently and even before using it for a day, i realized the internal keyboard key ( left control key) was not working. I took it to the service centre and tried to explain them the problem, it took them 30 mins to understand the problem. I had to leave my MBP there for them to analyze.
After 5 days now, they called me to inform me that the key can not be repaired and I need to pay if I want it repaired.
Whom should i contact if I want to compain against the service ?

Under normal circumstances a damaged key might appear to a service technician that a user might have damaged it. Since the machine is hardly used a day, and we have no indication it was dropped or spilled on, there is good indication it is both under the software and hardware warranty of the first 90 days. That is unless the machine wasn't bought new from an authorized dealer.
In that event, all bets are off, unless you can prove the machine is still under AppleCare. The good news there is there are Mac shops like http://www.welovemacs.com/ that only charge for the replacement key, and http://www.ifixit.com/ which can help you find the keyboard part.
Still without further info, it is difficult to speculate what is free, or not, or what really is covered.
So my questions are, did you buy from an authorized dealer on http://www.apple.com/buy/ for your country?
And was it marked as a new machine?

anybody knows where to get the latest javadoc for Oracle BPEL Process Manager
Workflow Services API Reference 10g Release 3 (10.1.3) ?
In the javadoc it is said that IWorklistService.getWorklistTaskDetails(..) returns IWorklistTask but apparently it returns a Task object.
Also, I saw some of the interfaces and classes are deprecated and replaced by classes in oracle.bpel.services.workflow package, where is the jar containing this new package?

Where can I leave suggestion for the manufacturers???

Anybody knows where can suggestions can be posted for the future improvements for the software to our Ipods??
Some things that I'd love to see in the next Ipods or software are:
- Scrolling of the whole album name, Artist name on the screen of the Ipod
- During the mode sleep would be nice to set the volume low level for sleep and for "alarm" mode it would be perfect wake up with a louder volume.
- For the clock settings moving the digits each one 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 independently instead to go around the clock for 12 hours everytime when a new alarm is set.
- Timer for sleep if could be "open" to everybody own time it would be great other than 15 mins 30 mins 60 mins etc there 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc much better in this case for sleep.
I wish that the people that is involved with the development and manufacturing of our favorite player could do something about it otherwise who else???

The Apple Bug Reporter: http://bugreport.apple.com/ has an enhancement category.
First you should download Xcode4 and see if that addresses any of your concerns.

Does anyone know where iPods sent to Apple for warranty service go?

Error Message When Leaving Review For Apps Downloaded Using a Different Country App Store

DEVICES AND SOFTWARE:
iPhone 6 Plus iOS 8.1.2, Macbook Air 11" 2013 OSX 10.10.2, iTunes 12.1.0.50
DESCRIPTION:
When attempting to leave a review for an App that has been previously downloaded or purchased using a different country store but on the same Apple ID - the user receives an error message. The issue stems from the App not being in the Purchase History of the presently associated country store as purchase history is country dependent rather than Apple ID dependent.
STEPS:
1. Login the App Store on iTunes or iOS Device using an Apple ID associated with a country.
2. Download an App for the first time using said Apple ID.
3. Change the country of said Apple ID.
4. Attempt to leave a review of the previously downloaded app.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
A user should be able to leave a review to an App he/she has previously downloaded whilst the Apple ID is associated with a different country. The App Store button should show Downloaded after the country change and the App should continue to be displayed in the Purchase history. In other words the purchase history should not be country dependent but Apple ID dependent.
ACTUAL RESULTS:
User gets an error message indicating that the app needs to be downloaded or purchased first.
NOTES:
I have tried deleting my reviews from the original country store, and yet I am still not able to leave a review. Please make the purchase history dependent on the Apple ID rather than the Country Store. If this is not possible, provide a way for users to remove to delete the purchase history from the previous country store(s) - so these apps can appear on their current country store's purchase history. Thus they would be able to leave reviews for these apps.

Understand the technical base for Enterprise Services?

I am trying to understand what is the technical base for enterprise services and the restrictions when activating them. The best documents I have found are:

The documents are quite informative, however there are still questions. Maybe someone can shed some light of these:
1.) Is my understanding correct that Enterprise services can have three different base u201Cmodulesu201D?:
a. An EHP (with relation to a business function).
b. The swc u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D (without relation to a business function). E.G. ES Bundle "Bank Communication Management".
c. The SWC u201CSAP APPLu201D (without relation to a business function). E.G. u201CBusinessPartnerERPUpdateRequestConfirmation_Inu201D
2.) Is it possible to activate enterprise services (bundles) that rely on business functions after a EHP installation or ONLY during the EHP installation?
3.) Is it possible to activate enterprise services with base u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D after a EHP installation or ONLY during the EHP installation?
4.) Is SWC u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D a u201Ctechnicalu201D business function, whose activation cannot be reverted either? If yes what effect has the activation von u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D on the current ERP customizing?
5.) How do the Enterprise Services relate with Service Interface definitions from SAP Process Integration (XI Content)?
Do I need the XI Content with the service interfaces in ES Repository (and SPROXY) only if the communication is B2B (with PI) or also if the communication is Point-2-Point (without PI)?

I'll try and provide answers where I can...

I personally don't agree with this understanding. Enterprise Services would always relate to some or other business function, unless we have a different understanding of what "Business Function" means . What changes is how the Enterprise Services (or versions of them) are delivered.
SAP APPL for example would be relevant to most of the enterprise services shipped with a standard ECC EHP*. So it will relate to the business functionality for the applications that are shipped with an ECC installation.
2.) Is it possible to activate enterprise services (bundles) that rely on business functions after a EHP installation or ONLY during the EHP installation?
I don't understand this question but I'll try and offer a generic answer. You can activate/use Enterprise Services whenever you want to as long as they are already available in your current installation. If they are only available in an EHP that you don't have yet then you will need to upgrade (but I also seem to recall some workarounds - SAP notes - as an alternative to upgrading).
3.) Is it possible to activate enterprise services with base u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D after a EHP installation or ONLY during the EHP installation?
You decide when you would like to activate it, it's generally after. SAP will ship them anyway.
4.) Is SWC u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D a u201Ctechnicalu201D business function, whose activation cannot be reverted either? If yes what effect has the activation von u201CESA ECC-SE 60xu201D on the current ERP customizing?
There is a tool call Impact Analyzer, read up a little on it. It allows you to do an impact analysis before activating. It might also help posting a separate thread on of the ECC functional forums here on SCN for more impact analysis. I'm not sure if the activation can be reverted.
5.) How do the Enterprise Services relate with Service Interface definitions from SAP Process Integration (XI Content)?
The XI Content is the design equivalent of the Enterprise Services as you see them in SPROXY. It's only relevant in certain cases, examples:
- If you want to enhance standard SAP Enterprise Services
- If you want to do additional transformation/s & routing.
If you are planning P2P type communication, then the XI content is not relevant. One thing to be aware of though is if you have your backend ECC system connected to your PI ESR, the view that you get in SPROXY will reflect the SWC view of the ESR. So you might want to download the XI Content & import it into your PI ESR anyway.
