Where do I obtain a "Response Code" to a install a newer version of Adobe Acrobat

I was using Abobe Acrobat 5.0 on a computer that suffered a melt-down to the HD. I purchased a new computer and also an upgtrade (6.0) to my registered version 5 of Adobe Acrobat. On trying to install the 6.0 version, I was first told that the new upgrader required a pre-existing version of Acrobat (original discs are lost) or a Response Code from Adobe. I called (twice) 800-833-6687 and was told someone would call back (in 3-6 minutes) -- it has been 1 hour past the 2nd call. Can I ask this question to someon at Adobe to receive this Response Code?

Please be aware that it is unlikely Acrobat 6 will install properly on anything later than Windows XP. If you are using Windows Vista or later then your best course would be to purchase Acrobat XI.

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium, it cost more than €2,000. When I recently tried to re-install it due to having to reformat my hard drive I could no longer activate it over the phone or online.
When I rang the help number it directed me to the downloadable versions that don't require activation. Great! UNTIL I realise Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional is only available for Windows as a download.
Where is the download for the Mac Version as it not included in the bundle either. This is extremely urgent. Thank you in advance.

The answer to your question of March 12, 2015 – "Where is the Mac downloadable version of Adobe Acrobat 7 Pro that doesn't require activation[?]" – is … nowhere. That doesn't mean it's not available to you, however. I have successfully installed several CS2 programs and Acrobat 7, on two computers.
The hard drive on my MacBook Air crashed recently. After a new drive was installed I had to reload various programs, including CS2 Premium. I used the original disks and the serial number on the package.
When I tried to open InDesign, however, I got an "Activate Using the Internet" message which led to an "Activation Server Unavailable" message that gave me three options, the last of which was "Click the Phone Activation button to activate the product over the phone." I called the toll-fee number and heard the following recorded message: "We no longer support activation issues over the phone."
So I searched the Web, figuring that others had encountered and solved this problem. Eventually, I found "Creative Suite Help / Download Acrobat 7 and OS2 Products" at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html#.
I also found "How to Fix Adobe’s “Licensing for this product has stopped working” Error by Aaron Nelsen at http://hijinksinc.com/2010/01/20/how-to-fix-adobes-licensing-for-this-product-has-stopped- working-error/. He writes "… you MUST delete adobe_00080000_tsf.data and adobe_00080000_event.log" which is found in /Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/FLEXnet. So I did that.
I also deleted Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, and Photoshop CS2 from my Applications folder. I did not delete Acrobat 7 or GoLive.
After clicking on "English" at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html#, I downloaded Illustrator CS2 for Mac, InDesign CS2 for Mac, and Photoshop CS2 for Mac. I was not able to download Acrobat 7 because the only option is for Windows. As you know, there is no download for Mac.
Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, and Photoshop CS2 all opened without any problems. When I tried to open GoLive, I got the same "Activate Using the Internet" message I got at the outset, when I tried to open InDesign. I proceeded, and now have a 30-day trial. The same limitation has been placed on Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, because I downloaded them, whereas GoLive was installed from the CS2 disks.
Next, I opened Acrobat 7.0 Professional – the one installed from the original CS2 disks. It works fine.
BOTTOM LINE: If you want Acrobat 7.0 Professional, install Creative Suite using original CS2 disks, then delete the other CS2 programs from those disks. If you want Illustrator CS2, InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS2, and others, download them from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html#.

Where to I obtain a key code?

We downloaded Crystal Reports but when I attempt to install it I get the error that "the key code is either not valid or has expired". I do not remember receiving any key code with the software so I tried to use the key code that came with our Crystal Reports Server software. I called support and they are saying I need some S-USER ID and password but won't give me one. Does anyone know where I can obtain this information? All I'm looking for is the key code to install this thing!!

OK, I went to that page but when I put the order number in I'm not sure what password it needs. I used what I think is correct but it comes back and says "no orders were found".
Now, let me back up a little bit as well. My manager said he downloaded what was required and put it on a server our team accesses. I went there and found not just 1 but 2 files. He still claims he only put one there so I have no idea why there are 2. The first one was for Crystal Reports Server and I had the key code. That one installed "almost" perfectly but had an issue with the AppMgrPlugin.dll file (it was saying that "administrator" did not have sufficient rights). We skipped that file so we'll have to figure that out later (unless anyone knows why that happened and what to do about it).
Then we tried installing the second download my manager put there (I believe it's just Crystal Reports XI)and tried using the same key code as there were no others we know about. It came back with the "key code is either no valid or has expired" message. I have since looked through all of my old emails to no avail. I have also logged on the Business Objects web site and browsed through all software purchases we have made trying every single key code I came across just in case. No good so far.

"Response Code" needed to install CS3 (upgrade from CS2) - cannot get through on 'chat'

How do I get a Response Code for installing CS3 (upgraded from CS2) on a new computer? I used to be able to call for the code but there is no phone support anymore. Okay so I spent a further 2 hours on hold this morning and actually forgot I was on hold until I heard the beep beep beep of disconnection! GARRRRRR
Anyway, after a nice visit from my family to celebrate my birthday, i got back on the phone this afternoon.
5 minutes later I was speaking to a Technical Support guy who was extremely helpful, did not ask me to repeat trouble shooting steps I had already taken, listened to me carefully as I explained the problem and diagnosed, fixed and activated my software within 30 minutes.
Resolution of the problem: they gave me an updater checker response code which worked immediately. Ctrl/Shift+dbl click on the broken update cheker page and up came a back door screen. Just a few digits later and PRESTO my software is up and running like a dream. Activation was smooth and registration no problem.

Now i just have to figure out how to tell Acrobat Prof 8 where the damn .dll is on my 64 bit vista computer - having already installed acrobat professional without telling it where to look because I didn't think the install was going to work anyway. Dang.

At times when the sources were available I tried to build it on a "new" platform (Solaris x86 32bit) and I can tell you: it's NOTHING that is obvious. Building OpenOffice or Mozilla may appear like an easy task. It took me months to get there and to be able to just build the 'build tools'.
On top, many of the sources are (historically) written in a Pascal dialect and are transferred to C with an own precompiler so there are three languages used (C, C++ and Pascal) - so it's a pretty hard (next to impossible) job to learn some algorithms from those sources.

HT1926 I have gone through the sequence of uninstalling and deleting everything in order as stated, but when I try to install the newer version and it gets to the part where it needs to uninstall the older version it says it can't find the iTunes msi?

Should I reinstall 10.5? Will it reinstall?

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

My version of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended does not start anymore. I am reinstalling. I don't have my product code. Will it ask me for that code or will it take it from the previous copy?

What is the latest version of Adobe Acrobat to work on Vista, and how does one obtain it?

I already bought Creative Cloud, but apparently I can't use the new version of Acrobat on Vista (even though I had a working version last week that they somehow destroyed by making it crash when saving my work). I upgraded specifically to get around the crash-on-save error their tech support refused to help me with, and was assured an upgrade would fix it. Now I don't have Acrobat at all and need to work on forms for our office.

NOthing to do with any of that. Acro 11 should work just fine on Vista. The rest is too vague. You have not provided any details about the crash or other tech stuff. Chances are you may simply need to manually delete some damaged component like a PDF preset and reinstall after that...

Pci to pci bridge error code 35 after installing my new graphics card

hello everyone
first of all i am not sure if in the right section of the forum to post this...if not i am sorry.
well about my problem...i ve bought this new graphics card msi geforce gt430 and a new psu which is 580 watt and yesterday i installed em both.and then i turned on my pc. the thing is windows cant detect my grsphics card.there is this yellow exclamation mark on pci standard pci to pci bridge in device manager menu.i tried uninstalling pci to pci bridges and rebooting my pc.it didnt help.i also tried updating every single driver again nothing changed.i also have one of the latest bios so i dont think it should be related to bios.i have no idea how to fix this.i am a little bit ignorant when it comes to pc hardware.i can use all the help i can get.

Pci2pci is a motherboard thing but could interfere with gfx detection.
I know you said you'd reinstalled all drivers but...
Did you get the latest drivers for your motherboard?
If that doesn't fix it I guess the next step would be a complete OS reinstall...

Request response code 503 when try to view failed jobs on report server

I have application server 11. From enterprise manager I get a list of completed jobs and failed jobs for the report server. When I try to click on failed jobs I get
Error in request response code 503.
I am new to weblogic server and I don't know where to look for this problem.

how do you access Reports from Forms and can you run a stand-alone Reports from the browser URL (using the Reports Services and the Reports Services servlet rwservlet).
if you can't run a Reports directly then the problem is in teh confoguration itself and you should contact customer support via metalink.oracle.com
