Where do I recover a mailbox in Lion

I recently created a new email account (account B) with the same username and password information as my usual POP mail account (accoutn A) that I use for work.
Well, I deleted account B and now, all my email from account A is gone as well! Now what? I tried to do an import but I can't find the 'Mail' folder in ~/Library to get my old mailbox! Yikes.

From within mail without importing, I say no.
Some mail applications will import the .mbox format. Offhand, I coulnd't tell you which ones will, but checking the information on other programs will tell you. I believe some will do that directly from the application, but others will require you to export to the .mbox format.
Outlook will let you import .mbox format from an exported test file.
Unless you just want another mail application, usually you provider will also have webmail which you could use. If your account is IMAP, then it will stay synced the same.
Just backup your mac and your mail will be backed up.

  • Trying to recover a mailbox from an old Exchange 2003 server

I still have a 2003 server in my environment but all functions and mailboxes are on Exchange 2010. The only reason the 2003 server is still around is for the off chance of requiring a restoration which has now come up. I have successfully restored a
mail store to a recovery storage group but I am unable to export mailboxes from it using exmerge.
    I get the following error:
[10:16:16] Copying data from mailbox 'Jacques Legare' ('LEGARE') on Server 'MAIL-SERVER' to file 'C:\TEMP\LEGARE.PST'.
[10:16:16] Error opening message store (MSEMS). Verify that the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is running and that you have the correct permissions to log on. (0x8004011d)
[10:16:16] Errors encountered. Copy process aborted for mailbox 'Jacques Legare' ('LEGARE').
I have read many, many articles regarding the requirement for “send as” permission. I have granted send as permissions to several different domain accounts and local accounts on the Exchange server but I get the same result with all of them.
It looks like the problem may be because the mailbox no longer exists on the Exchange 2003 server.
So what do I have to do to recover this mailbox? Can I create a mailbox for this user on the 2003 server without messing up his the mailbox on the 2010 server? Instead of restoring to the recovery storage group, should I restore and overwrite the original mailbox
store? Again, will that mess up anything with the 2010 server?

    0x8004011d is permission related Error.
Refer to the link below and download EXMERGE guide which has complete procedure documented.
    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/Guide-to-Use-Exmerge-to-fd00af49
If the mailbox that need to be restored has to be extracted from RSG is already moved to Exchange 2010 then you will not be able to run exmerge against it.
You might have to update the attribute MsExchOrigMDB on the RSG to point to Exchange 2010 Database where the mailbox is now located.
even this information is enclosed in the EMERGE Guide.

  • Where do i recover deleted notes

I accidently deleted one of my notes and I dont know where i can recover it. I did not have iCloud on and I already restored using a back up from a few days ago. Is there another way? I am using windows . Suggestions please?

Photos taken after backup are gone.
About notes: Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and check all your mail account. Is there any account that syncs notes? Maybe you are not using the local Notes account. In that case check your mail on a desktop browser and look for a Label/folder/mailbox named "Notes"

    Hello,
There are so many third party software available in Web that can easily fix your Exchange Database issues, you can check out such  a software from here http://www.exchangerecoverytools.org . By using this software (Kernel for Exchange Server Recovery),
you can immediately repair and convert damaged EDB to PST files.

  • Recovering deleted mailboxes

Does anyone know how to recover deleted mailboxes in Mail? An hour ago, I installed the new software from Earthlink and told it to sync with Apple Mail. I ended up with two accounts in Mail, one with my address (the existing one) and another with my address prefaced by POP. I didn't realize what it had done, so I deleted my extra Trash mailbox. Trash disappeared and I didn't even realize/think about it. Did the same with Sent. Fine. But then, before I realized what I was doing, I did it with the In Box. Oh, no! All of the messages in my In Box are now gone. Everything works--I can still get messages--but all my archived stuff is gone. Does anyone know how to recover deleted mailboxes in Mail? The Help is of no help, and the basic pages here don't seem to cover this problem! Help! Help! SOS! M'aidez!
iMac DV SE   Mac OS X (10.4.1)

You may go to the ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/ account folder in the Finder and check whether your mailboxes are really gone — they probably are, so don’t hold your breath.
If the messages are not on the server and you don’t have a backup (which you should have made before doing something like that), you may try to salvage as many deleted *.emlx files as possible with a data recovery tool such as Data Rescue II, TechTool Pro, or FileSalvage. Of these, the only one I know for sure that can currently recover deleted *.emlx files is FileSalvage. Stop using your computer right now if you want to try that, as anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted files to be overwritten.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

  • Where is low battery warning in Mountain Lion?

Lion used to give low battery power alerts which I do not find after Mountain lion upgrade. Is it still there or...???

    Turbo toes
This helped meRe: Where is low battery warning in Mountain Lion?
Jul 29, 2012 8:51 AM (in response to Kallampad)
It kicks in at 3% on my 2011 MBA, I have seen reports that the % at which it appears can vary quite a lot, from 16% to 3%.
Speculation would be it depends on the fitnesss of the battery?

My rMBP's battery had fallen to 3% before I noticed it, and I never saw any popup warning.  I was not running anything fullscreen (just firefox covering part of the screen).
Running your battery down to these very low charge levels will shorten its life, try to avoid discharging to less than 40%, try to stay on AC power as much as you can (all the time is better than your current useage profile) and only let it discharge when there is no other choice.
