Where Do I Report Text Fraud Via Text Messages?

I received a text message that is clearly an attempt at fraud.  Is there someplace I can forward it for analysis and action by Verizon.  It includes a phone number.

You can forward it to SPAM (7726) and follow the instructions in the reply.

• Text Layers via Text File (ExtendScript)

It keeps saying Im posting a blank message when I paste my details in..... (grr!)
So here it is: on pastebin....  http://pastebin.com/EE7wthQ5
Ill fix it if i can....

I am totally new at this extendscript stuff, but it will be my 6th coding/scripting language if I can become profficiant in it (This is bassicly Javascript right?). ( after C++, Objective-C, AppleScript, AutoHotKey and Bash... I don't count HTML/CSS)
So this is script number zero, I need somewhere to start, and I have a project I've been working on that I can't see another way to do it, so since I'm new at this, id like you to help me write this, I honestly have no idea, not even a clue where to start (Time for 'hello world!' eh?).
Anyway, what I would like help making is a script, that will take the 50 text files I have in a folder [ D:\Code\Examples\HelloWorld\*.txt] and make them all text layers with font: Anonymous Pro, Size 8, Color 0xFFFFFF. Alighted to the top/left at 0,0. I would like the layer name to be the Text-files name before the last period (I say last because one is named Visual Basic .NET.txt)... although first wouldn't be too bad. (So lets just say, until a period)
The reason I can't do this task by hand is simple, they are all 'Hello World' Examples, they are in 49 different coding languages. Each language has a seperate text file, like Bash.txt, Ada.txt, (Extendscript.txt next? .. make it an even 50 XD)
So, little help making this? Maybe an example?
Here is what I have so far (Horrible Code... I know ):
app.documents.add()
var docRef = app.documents.add()

I-phone 4 camera roll will not save pictures sent to me via text messages, it just gives me a message stating it is updating my library, then takes me back to the camera roll where the picture is no where to be found (other than in my original text message).

RESOLVED!!! I logged on to my Straight Talk online account, and did a Tech Chat. They immediately gave me a direct phone number and a Reference PIN number and asked me to contact their iPhone specialty support. I called (of course the gentleman's accent was very difficult for me to understand, but managed with asking continually for clarity). He walked me through several tests, setting changes and had me get on my wifi to obtain the latest APN settings. None of his efforts worked ad it was obviously NOT my Straight Talk iPhone 5, 64GB CDMA (no SIM) - it was something with their setting on their end on my account. I was placed on hold a few times and he would come back on to have me try to get on Safari and even Google... after the 3rd on-hold, he returned and asked me to try to use my data again without the wifi turned on and BINGO it worked... I still do not have my wifi turned on and I'm still receiving texts from YESTERDAY too while I was away from wifi service. IF you come across this issue - please call Straight Talk and/or log on to your Straight Talk online account and talk to an online customer service representative and get their direct line phone number for iPhone support and have your Reference PIN number available. Good Luck

• UWL - Retrieve Rejection text entered via UserDecisionNote

Hello SDNers,
I am using task TS20000131 for expense report approval process. I have setup UWL configuration for the same and every thing works fine except the Rejection text.
In UWL configuration I am using UserDecisionNote and DecisionKey for including a mandatory rejection reason / text.
However, I am not able to retrieve the text entered via UWL in the backend ECC system.
I am able to see the text entered via UWL - show memo option in the further steps of the process.
Where does the text entered get stored?
We are on EP 7.01 and ECC 6.0 EHP4.
Can someone help me by guiding me in the right path for this?
Thanks,
Kalyan
The following is my UWL config

Hi Susan,
This was a little tricky.
I was not able to locate the entered text initially.
The text was getting stored as an attachment in the workflow.
The UWL config I have above worked fine.
To locate the text entered via Rejection Reason, please do the following:
1. After you enter the text and perform the appropriate action from UWL, login to your Backend system and go to transaction SWI1.
2. Select your Work Item / Dialog Step by double clicking on it.
3. Click on the "Log" button
4. Click on the "Details" icon for the step where you entered the rejection text.
5. At the bottom, now you should see the details of the selected step. In the details, you should one step with executed action saying "Attachment added". Here if you click on the "Office Document" link from the Object column --- you should see the Rejection text entered via UWL.
Let me know if you are still facing the issue.
Thanks,
Kalyan

• Not able to save report output in a text file and RTF file

I am using Oracle Developer6.0 . I am facing problem with reports. I am invoking reports from form using run_product.
1. I could not able to save the report in text file . Whenever i try to save the report output in a text file.It gives dump and application get closed.
2. In RTF format , it execute the query which i have given at the design time while creating a report . But while running i am passing query either through lexical parameter or passing value of where criteria user parameters. It display the output for the specified value. But when i save this report output in rtf file . It execute design time query and save that in a rtf file.
If any body is having any idea about it . Please let me ASAP . It is very urgent for me.
Thanks in advance

Try the following:
Do not generate the report to .rep file, but rename/copy the .rdf file to .rep file and execute it.

See +varying elements in IN list+ on Ask Tom, and +emulating string-to-table functionality using sql+ for potential solutions.
In an APEX standard report, use a PL/SQL function body returning an SQL query report source with lexical substitution to produce a "varying IN-list":
return 'select * from emp where empno in (' || :P2_X || ')';where <tt>P2_X</tt> has been sanitized for SQL injection and string values are properly quoted.

• Send text file via serial

hi
i've trying to send a text file via rs-232 but no success
The file contains a code for a device im dealing with, when i send the text file with labview to the device, it went ok with no errors, but when i connect the device on hyperterminal and check if the code was loaded it was not.
can you please give some clues to deal with this?
thanks a lot

Some devices are very picky with the End Of Line.  You might want to right-click on your FIle Read and deselect the "Convert EOL".
Or if you need to write 1 line at a time, right click on the Read Text File and select "Read Lines".  Set the number of line to read to -1 (read all) and then wire the resulting array into a FOR loop where you do the VISA Write.

• Cannot send pictures via text message since software update...HELP!!!!

Although I am a BIG FAN of BB Torch (have had several), BUT since it was discontinued, I had no choice but to "up grade" to BB Z10...IT was working just fine...NOT as good as the Torch though, but I was getting use to it...TILL the new software came along last week (Tuesday), so after doing just that, up dating my phone, I saw that I was NOT able to send or receive pictures via text message. I did called ATT, deleted everything, resintalled my data/information...and STILL nothing.
I "google" the problem, and was sooooo SAD to find out that I was NOT the only one, and that THIS problem is AN OLD ONE (2013), but BB has done nothing to fix it.
I did read on of the technical support answers and followed every single step, but STILL NOTHING, NADA...no able to send neither receive pictures...PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Well, interesting... glad it worked out.

• IPhone 6 Plus video quality is extremely poor when on Facetime and when sharing via text/message

I upgraded to the 6 plus from the 4S. Everyone that I facetime with and send videos to via text/message tells me how incredibly horrible the video quality is....especially in comparison to the way it was before I upgraded from the 4S to the 6Plus.  These are people that I have always sent videos to and Facetimed with before, and they all say they can really tell a difference.  So frustrating that my three year old iphone 4S is better than the new 6 plus 128gig that I just paid $500 for.  We have little ones at home and this is one of the main things we use the phone for....to send vidoes and to Facetime with grandma and grandpa.
I'm on the same carrier (Verizon) that I have always been and have not changed anything.  Is there a setting on the phone I can change that will help with this?  I love the phone otherwise, but if it can't do this right, I'm going to return it and get my money back.
Can anyone help? Anyone experiencing this???
Thank you.

I have the same issue!! Why isn't there any answers to this problem? I became the laughing stock who owns a $1000 iPhone that can't share videos with family and friends.  Please help!!!

• My iPhone 3GS is no longer able to send pictures via text??

I've done a total phone reset, taken it to the ATT store (they checked all the MMS settings and they were correct), sync'd it to itunes and downloaded all updates...but still can't gte it to send pictures via text?
This all started last Monday when I traveled out to las Vegas...every picture I tried to send would get the status bar about 95% across on the send before popping up a red exclamation point next to the picture that gives me a "message failed to send" error. Here's a screen cap:

Any ideas?

I had same problem. Check your Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data Network - make sure your MMSS has 2 // After http, ie, http//... If you have to change this, make sure you switch iPhone off and restart after 20 seconds, go back to your settings to make sure changes have stayed put. Then take a photo and MMS it to yourself, this will take a minute or 2 to go through.
Hope this works for you

• How can we generate the reports in html or text file formats?

Hi,
Is there any package that can help in creating HTMLDB reports in .txt files or .html files? (Similar to TEXT_IO in Oracle Forms)
How can we generate the reports in html or text file formats from HTMLDB?
Thanks in Advance
Renjith

Hello all.
Bi Publisher is great, but has a very high price tag. It's even more expensive than Forms & Reports Services. We are considering APEX to replace Forms & Reports on the web, but the reporting limitations are still a problem.
I wonder if there is another option.
Thanks

• Reading Data From A Text File via AppleScript

"SLUG
, 06/16/06, APPLE COMPUTER INC , 69x8.50, jondnotin
now what I need to do is get the 69 and the 8.50 as seperate variables...now every file that is going to be read is setup the same with different information but the data type is the same and in the same order. So what syntax do I need to read this file and set thoes two numbers to variables? Thanks!

Hello
You where right for the file structure.
I think that it is a complementary reason to locate the data whithout assuming that it sit in paragraph x or y.
The trailing script get rid of that and allow to grab values from a file containing more than a single entry.
